What I like about advance auto parts is the people working there generally know their stuff. Male…read moreor female, tall or short, if I need a special wiper blade or spark plugs they know exactly where to find them and because of my arthritis they leave and come out to the car and install wiper blades or your battery whatever you need. I get all my car cleaning supplies here oil lightbulbs because they seem to have everything I need for all my cars. Always happy to come in here when I need something and I can trust that I will get somebody that knows what they're doing and they don't seem to stand around on their cell phones all day. It was weird because he had it on speaker and the customer kept trying to hang up and whoever the worker was kept dragging on the conversation. Makes me think he was doing it on purpose. I ended up leaving. This was my first time here and I will not be back.

Every once in a while I stop in this store for minor car purchases - washer fluid, replacement…read morebulbs for headlights, or in the case of my most recent visit - a wiper blade replacement for my rear window. First, these guys are ALWAYS ready to help. And this last time they went above and beyond in helping me to replace a wiper blade that apparently isn't carried anywhere at this point (I've been to multiple stores trying to find the right one, with no luck). The item in their computer that matched up to my vehicle was very wrong, and they had nothing that would actually fit it correctly (the reason for four stars out of five), but despite that, they went on a hunt to figure out a way to get me a wiper blade that would work. It came down to a "break to fit" style wiper blade that had to be modified to fit into my car's ridiculously sized mechanism. But they did it! And it works just fine. I'm not super confident in the lifespan of the break to fit blades, but it sure beat driving 40 minutes to the dealership to get the correct piece. And even though it took them 20 minutes or so of their time, they didn't send me away with a "sorry, we can't help". They figured out a way to help. I've been pleased each time I've been in their store with the attitude and desire to help, and that's the reason that I keep returning.

Horrible customer service! We ordered a battery online for pickup and installation at the store…read more After we show up, the man working tells us to "Remove the battery and bring it in." We asked him wasn't he supposed to do that if he's installing the other? He shrugged and said he'd "take a look." He glanced at it and told us that he "couldn't" do it. We cancelled the order and went to the next Advance Auto, who DID remove the battery and installed the new one. This location was just being lazy. I won't shop here again.
