As a business owner, I don't particularly appreciate leaving low reviews, but hopefully, this will give them a nudge to step up their game. Heck, if I go back another day and they deliver minimum service, I'll remove the review. Experience 1: I had my nephew order several parts and was told most would be ready on Saturday, and one would be available on Monday. I arrive on Saturday to pay and pick up parts, and the nice gentleman Sebastian told me he didn't know what I was talking about and would NOT be able to help me without the complete list. He was arrogant and rude. He didn't offer to look it up by name or check for bulk order. I called back 15 minutes later with the list, and somehow he already knew what I was talking about before I gave him the list of parts but couldn't be bothered to look it up while I was there. Sadly, it delayed repairs on my car further. Experience: 2: On Monday, I called to make sure the entire order was available, and after five minutes on hold, Juan hung up. I called back and told them they hung up on me, and Juan said, "we don't hang up on people". Experience 3: I needed another part for my car that was a special order item. He said if I paid for it today, I could get it by Friday. He sent me a payment link, and I IMMEDIATELY submitted the payment. All this took maybe about 15 minutes from the phone call to them forwarding a payment link. Today I call, and I'm told that I missed the order deadline and would have to wait another five days. No one called me to confirm I still wanted the part or even mentioned the issue when they sent the nonrefundable payment link. I recommend using them, and if they have the part, but if not, please go elsewhere. Stuff happens, and maybe my experience is unique.

Even though my first experience here was good, my visit yesterday turned out to be horrible. This…read moreone kid who works here made my car problem 10 times harder than it needed to be by telling me my starter was bad. It's obviously his job to sell you a starter, whether you need one or not. So he hooked up his machine. It said "starter". Case closed, right? So I believed him and paid $130 for a new starter. That was dumb of me, because I believed him. He then tells me the starter can only be accessed from underneath the car. And again I believe him because I'm stupid. So then I'm buying a jack and getting underneath my car. Every time I tried explaining that "I'm not a car person", he turned to his coworker and giggled. That was the one thing that pissed me off most. Because he should have just came out and said "That makes two of us, dude. I don't know shit about cars either. I'm just a cashier." ... instead of wasting 3 hours on a wild goose chase. Anyway, I finally got a mobile mechanic to come out. Rusty battery terminals. Ten minutes. Fixed.

My Ford escape brakes they didn't hesitate on saying they could fix them. I approved the first quote of 444$ to replace the routers and the right front caliber. The next day they called and said that with the rust damage to the left front caliber would need to be replaced as well. I approved this repair and now the total was 601$. I thought that was fair and reasonable. Was told the car would be ready on Tuesday afternoon. They called on Tuesday afternoon and said they weren't having difficulties with the brakes and would need more time. I said take all the time you need but verified that I wasn't paying more than the 601$ I had approved. They called Thursday afternoon and tell me the car is ready for pickup. I walk in and now the total is 994$!!!! I asked who authorized the additional repairs? Because I did not. I had to pay an extra 390$ of repairs without my approval. They didn't even try to offer to lower the bill, you would think if you made an error and did repairs without authorization the shop would at least eat the labor costs. I paid the full amount but in protest. I would use caution and make sure you get everything in writing and approved before you have your car repaired at Golden Eagle!

This place did have the battery I was looking for! In fact they carry all kinds of batteries!!! They have batteries for autos, lawnmowers, motorcycles, generators, etc. I've been by here a bunch of times but always thought of it as a battery recycling business which they do, but I didn't realize they also sold all types pod batteries! So if your looking for a battery you can't find at your local auto parts store your best bet would be to give the folks at Golden Eagle Battery a try! They probably have it in stock!
