During the second install, they reinstalled the same windshield (did not use the OEM windshield they had on hand.) The second install was done very poorly. The seal on the top of the windshield would not allow water to drain appropriately. And during the second install they also caused damage to the A-pillar and cowling.

A week later, the car started having shifting issues. It was struggling to go into 2nd and 3rd gears and was making a sound under the hood. We brought it back and explained the issues. They told us McCurley Mazda did the initial inspections and to bring it there, so we did. We ended up having to leave it there because no one could tell us what was wrong. We didn't hear anything for 2 weeks, so we called and they said they still didn't know anything, but thought it was the timing chain. We didn't hear anything again for another week, so we called and were told no one there knew what was going on and they were taking it to McCurley Ford. It stayed another 2 weeks there with no updates, except to randomly call us one day to let us know the guy working on it would be absent that day. About a week later, they called and said it was done. They replaced the timing chain. We picked it up, brought it home, and it was good for another week. Now it is doing the SAME thing again that we initially brought it in for -- jerking, struggling to go into 2nd and 3rd gears, and there is a ticking sound under the hood. On top of that, the driver's side door is struggling to open and close. They kept the car through the entire warranty period, but since this is the same issue we originally brought it in for, we should not have any financial obligations for repairs. I submitted a contact form and after not hearing anything back for a week, I called. I was assured it would be escalated and someone would call me back. Here we are another week later and we still have not heard from anyone. To say we are livid is an understatement. We paid almost $14,000 for a car that has given us nothing but problems, with symptoms pointing directly to transmission issues. I believe our car was purposely kept through the warranty period and that they knew it was a transmission issue. As I said before, we should not be obligated to take on the financial burden of repairing this car since we initially brought it in during the warranty period and the same problem is still persisting. Honestly, I almost want my $3,000 down payment back so I can go elsewhere. I wanted to give these dealerships the benefit of the doubt and give them a chance to rectify the situation before writing a negative review, but it seems our problem does not matter. My suggestion is to go elsewhere if you are in the market for a vehicle.

fuck this dealership do not buy a car from them they like to sell shitty cars to people. literally…read moreas soon as i drove it home the check engine light turned on & there was a crack on the windshield that wasn't there when we first took a look at the car. there was something wrong w the cadilac converter so i called literally took a week so they can fix it. in fact they did not even fix it they did not even touch it & they called me saying it was ready. that was after a week & a half of it being there. i had shit to do i needed my car back so i just made an appointment for a different day. i took it they replaced it but did not fix my windshield. later on that same day the light turned on again... they put in a shitty ass part. MY WINDSHEILD WAS STILL NOT FIXED. after that the light turned on AGAIN. at that point me & my mom were fed up so we went to the dealership to talk to the owner whatever her fucking name is she basically told us it would be stupid to trade it in bc we would loose money. they then told us to call speck gmc we made an appointment w them on my way there my car was heating up i couldn't even drive it. there was something else completely wrong with it. i ended up having to get it towed to speck where they said something was wrong w my water outlet. they were tryna wax me almost 1K so i asked my uncle to fix it he's a mechanic. he fixed it. when he fixed it he found out the antifreeze was leaking. there was a hole in the antifreeze tank. there was also a problem with the water pump but we had a warranty so we got that fixed at speck for free. then my uncle replaced the antifreeze tank. ever since my car has been good. until a couple days ago the check engine light turned on AGAIN. the antifreeze was low AGAIN. it's also been shaking. this car has been nothing but problems since i got it august 2021.
