Drove to…read moreinterstate battery and almost died at a light just sitting for it to turn green to go and turn and the interstate battery build was literally a minute away down on the right. Had to go back and forth at the light to keep battery charged until light turned green so I could go. Thank God I made it! They hooked me up said it looks like it's the battery but said if he unplugs it and the vehicle shuts off it's my alternator. I was praying to God as he disconnected the machine he was using and it stayed on thank you thank you thank you God. So had to get a battery, so I bought one they installed it for $30 bucks extra, I could've done it myself but I didn't want to drive off and crap happens down the road. I didn't have my tools so I just said go ahead and I'll pay. I asked the guy at the front desk about a warranty he said there's a 36 Month Replacement Warranty on the battery since I bought a new Interstate battery. The tech said anything below 12.6 charge is no good. He was very quick with the installation. He did a great job. I was very pleased about these guys and their professionalism. They are great.

(Because I just replaced one.) He didn't say much. Came back 5mins later said he replaced both but did not test. When I said I only wanted one could he please him to swap out only the one that was dead. He said he threw away the batteries so he couldn't do that. Again I only wanted one battery. He refused Then took both fobs batteries out and said he refused service. Gave me both key fobs back empty without batteries. I wouldn't have been able to run my car it's a hybrid without the one FOB that was good. As he said he threw them away. I don't understand why he couldn't have just done one. Why he caused all that commotion. Now I had to call the police to go to the store. Imagine how awful. He finally put my old batteries back in.

I was told that the tech would return a week later with new battery charger . After months and months of back-and-forth, multiple phone calls, I was told that if I wanted to remove the batteries and bring up to them that they would charge up and then possibly replace the faulty battery charger. We looked at the old one and how it connected to the small circuit board (used to control charge rate) and he told me that he could tack weld two short strips onto each pole of the new battery so that I could easily solder to them again. I'm an electronics guy so I do have the proper ultra-high temp soldering pen (750 degrees and variable) to do this job correctly. All went smoothly and my wife is happy to have her outdoor speaker working once again. This is my Go-To place for batteries.

On my receipt it states the battery is under warranty until 1/04/2027 !!! I was lectured by this smartass kid that the battery needed to be above 10 Volts for them to warranty it.... Yes, they carried what I needed, had it in stock and absolutely do the installation for an extremely fair price! Saving me almost $100 of a dealer quoted price which was basically labor. The tech was extremely knowledgeable and efficient. The heat outside was oppressive, I felt for him, as the temp outside was 95* and they bring a cart out to the parking lot and change out the batteries. I imagine not having an indoor bay probably keeps the overhead down and passes a great savings on to the consumer. The staff of three were all friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. It was suggested I get a new battery for the key fob too....good idea. I'm confident my upcoming 8 hr trip will be safer. I always do surveys but this place deserved a review.
