I get all my car needs met here, such as batteries (comes with 3 year warranties which I can attest to as I have had one replaced in the past year while 2 years into the warranty), spark plugs, cabinet air filters, windshield wiper and etc - I even got my intake hose at O'Reilly after learning that it had become cracked in Cali. To me, O'Reilly is dependable, nationwide, and cost effective - so wherever I go there'll be one to help me out in sticky situations. This one I visited today got me out of a pickle of a situation, and I am ever so grateful. Plus, service is always helpful and friendly, so it's a great place to go and learn more if you ever get curious. Here is a before and after photo of my headlights. It has been an agenda of mine for YEARS to restore it after watching motivational light restoration videos on Youtube. However, it wasn't until I couldn't stand it anymore and started sanding with a 140 grit sand paper did I realize what trouble I had gotten myself into. I had purchased a Meguiar's PlastX at a heavily discounted price at an Amazon liquidation store, and after using it - I found out that it did not do as advertised. I should've gotten the hint that it was not a good option seeing that sanding was not in the directions of the bottle. Alas, a choice to make, which was 1.) to either leave it be, or 2.) try and fix it with whatever motivation I have left and whatever is the cheapest available at O'Reilly's. After consulting the internet (youtube) showed me that there are a couple of options at O'reilly's that I could get, I boiled it down to Turtle Wax Headlight Lens Restoration Kit - T240KT. Priced at 12.99 - it was the perfect thing that could help me with the mess I had already made. This was a last resort, and I am happy to report that my headlight lens restoration project was a success! Although, please follow the directions - I had made some errors (1. using microfibre instead of cotton first and using the clear liquid instead of the white liquid first) and even though it came out nice, I think using the white bottle instead of the clear bottle first would've made it much better. I would say, however, this is more of a one time use product, unless you can get the wipes separately, since the wipes made a big difference in the quality of work.

With auto parts stores I am not looking to see a big counter and tiny shopping space. The first place had virtually zero for touch up paint. The second had some, specific to certain vehicles, but there was alot missing. To me it is either do it or don't, keep it fully stocked, or don't bother. The third place was just right. First off let me say that I initially met with Lisa who was very friendly and seemed trustworthy…read more I explained to her that after a check engine light showed up I had Auto-zone run their scanner on my vehicle. They did so free of charge and returned error code P1757 recommending to replace the governor and possibly the transducer in the transmission. I further explained to Lisa that after the governor and the transducer were replaced, the check engine light returned with the error code P0868. She said they could do a full diagnostics for $150 made be a transmission specialist. She made a note of the recent history on my ticket. I told her I would leave the scanner reports and changed parts in my truck cab in case their technician needed to refer to them. A few hours later, a gentleman who I believe to be the owner called me, saying that they would need me to approve an expense of $600 to $900 for them to finish the diagnostic, because they would need to drop the pan to go further into figuring out what is wrong. I declined and asked when I could pick up my truck. He said he would have to see because they would first have to put my truck back together if I was declining to go any further. I confirmed I wanted my truck back and he said he could have it ready later in the day. When I got there i asked what they had done. it turns out they had only plugged in their scanner and printed out the report. The same type of report I had told them Autozone had done for free and that I had left for their convenience in my truck. I paid my $156 and asked to see the report. obviously it returned the exact same two error codes P0868 and P1757. Nothing more. It took them all but 3mn to start the engine, plug in the scanner, turn off the engine then plug the scanner into their computer and print out the report. So when I remembered that over the phone, the owner had claimed that if I wanted my truck back he would have to see to "put it back together" this was a huge red flag as to their honesty and straight forwardness. When I asked him in person why they did not do more diagnostics then simply running a scanner, when they knew I had already done so, he responded that he was not going to have his guys drop the transmission pan for $150. I would not have had a problem if he had been upfront and had explained that his diagnostics would be nothing more than plugging a scanner. i would have likely skipped that step and asked how much it would cost me to get an actual professional transmission diagnostic. When I got home from their shop, I was surprised to realize that my box with the parts and diagnostics report made by Autozone were no longer in my truck. Needless to say I will find someone else to work on my vehicle.

The receptionist has no idea what she's doing. job was planned a week in advance!!I would avoid this place at all costs or it will cost you.!!!!
