I have never been treated so rudely in my life. I figured I would risk the bad reviews he already had because I just needed a couple of replacement batteries for my dogs' shock collars. Almost before I said anything he said it's going to cost me. He wouldn't read the manual unless I paid him (????). I hung in there and said that I would read it to decide what I needed. He then took the battery out of one (that I had purchased elsewhere) and tested it. I did not ask him to do that. Then he said it he didn't work for free, had to pay his rent. I said I would be buying batteries from him if we could find what I needed. He flipped the battery over in the collar and handed it back to me. Weird, as it had been installed correctly. When I told him that, he basically told me to leave his store as he wouldn't be selling anything to me. What a whacko! read more

I called to see if they recycle lithium batteries, all I could get from the guy on the phone was it depends on what you got and it costs a lot. I told him it was a cell phone battery and again he says it depends on what you got and it costs a lot. I called another battery store, they said I can bring it in and it is no charge. read more

The guy running this shop is either incredibly rude or more possibly has psychotic issues. He was extremely unorganized having difficulty finding the battery I requested. When he finally found it he began explaining something to me. I explained it was for my husband and he's an electronic engineer so he'd figure it out. He then scoffed and told me 'ya right! ALL those electronic engineers think they're so smart but they're all stupid!' He literally blew me away with his terrible nastiness. All I could say is 'well, he's the smartest guy I know.' More scoffing. My purchase was less than $5 so I could'nt use my visa. I began looking for the amount of cash needed and he says he'll make an exception. I decide to buy 2. Ordered new batteries for my ATVs. The ridiculous supply chain issues made them very difficult to find locally. I received the batteries in a couple of days. Both were fully charged and ready to go. Popped them in and they work great. I have no idea how long these batteries may last, but if I do not update this review that means they are still going strong and I am very happy with them. read more

Strange experience. Went to get a battery for my mother-in-law's cell phone, a Samsung Galaxy S4. He would not sell us a battery unless we brought the phone in. We explained that the battery was old, wouldn't hold a charge, so based on past experience it was apparent that a new battery was needed. He still refused to sell us one. If he had told us that if we bought one we could not return or exchange it, we would have taken our chances. So we left. read more

Owner is dishonest. Say's Visa forcing him to charge a service charge for using a credit card. BS, anyone who has been in business knows this is not true. The credit card service charge was $4.12. Ripoff you are better off driving to Prescott Valley to the battery store there. He also said my battery did not have the date marked, yes it did and I bought it from him. Very strange set of circumstances. I called for a aaa battery with metal tabs on the ends so I could solder a wire to it. The owner said he had it,to come in. I drove there, showed him my old battery. I said is it going to be worth fixing my problem. He said " no, I charge $20 dollars per battery to solder tabs on them. I asked him why didn't he tell me that on the phone, this is where things got strange. his personality changed. He became upset, told me "stop stop I don't need it, don't want a bad day". I told him that he could have saved me a trip. He pointed to the door and told me to leave. This man appears to be under a lot of stress, based on his reaction and my observation of his face and demeanor, I think he is not a good sales person and does not know how to treat people. I went to the battery store in Prescott Valley, think it's called Batteries and Bulbs, right on HWY 69. Great people. They soldered tabs on two batteries, charged me $9 dollars with tax, smiled and thanked me. Someone should go there and learn how to run a battery store. It's worth the drive to PV for batteries. I purchased 4 "Ryobi" 18-Volt Lithium Batteries. They were supposed to be comparable to the Ryobi One Plus 5.0 Ah battery. After a full charge they only lasted about half the time as my real 5 year old Ryobi 4.0 Ah batteries. I think these batteries are crap. Spend a couple extra bucks and get the real thing! read more

I had a fender bender in the parking lot. It's small and it was crowded. I was taking my dogs to groomer in the same strip mall The owner of the battery store came out and told me to move my car. I told him I would after I dropped the dogs off from the hot car. My groomer came out and took one of the dogs I was getting the second one out and he kept telling me to move my car or he would call the police. I told him to go ahead they would not do anything because it was private property. He stood there and kept telling me,"move the car you're blocking the whole damn parking lot. You hit a car, you hit a car". The lady that approached me was very nice. I gave her my insurance This information She drove away and we had everything taken care of. I then went inside his store and told him that I thought everything he did and said was uncalled for. He started laughing and said," I know the puppies had to come first but you hit a car." Very sarcastically. Then like a switch turned he was mean again. I told him he didn't own the parking spot or parking lot He then yelled at me get out of my store. Sent here by Verizon for a Samsung phone battery. Battery Lasted just a week. Owner will not admit that the 6ooma battery he sold me to replace the factory 1000ma battery was not up to the task and likely a lower quality battery to boot. Owner DOES NOT GIVE REFUNDS only in store credit, though I did not see any signs stating this policy. I settled on exchanging for another battery of the same rating with the hope it will last a day or so until the one I bought on-line arrives. Out the door cost was $40. I found quality factory batteries on the internet for just $9 with shipping, lots of good feedback and 30 day refund policy. Do not waste one minute of your time or one dollar of your hard-earned money by walking into this store. Previous reviews are correct; the owner is extremely rude, unknowledgeable and unhelpful. Not really sure why he would want to operate a business if he has no interest in trying to sell you something. Walked in looking for a battery for my generator. Gave him the CCA's and size of battery. After several questions including where the post are, wet/dry etc... I explained that what I needed was a 12V motorcycle battery and gave him the reference number to which he said "doesn't sound familiar". I then asked if he could cross-reference that number and he said no. Then I said let's find a battery that will fit as I had the dimensions and he then asked "what polarity?". WHAT??? Needless to say I walked out then called the generator manufacturer to ask where I could find the battery and they said any retailer, including Walmart as it is a very common power sports battery....and this guy did not know it! read more

Called and asked if this store took in computer laptop lithium batteries that needed to be handled properly for waste as the City of Prescott does not allow these to be dropped in our regular trash cans. The gentleman was very, very rude and stated that if purchased at his store, then there was no charge; otherwise there is a fee. I then asked how much and that's when he because uneasy and they stated he would have to see the battery. He also stated he needs to go as he had a live customer waiting.
