Me NO like lights in dash!!…read more Whenever a light comes on in the dash, I must investigate either immediately or within a few hours. In this case, it was a burnt out bulb for my left front turn signal. A quick stop at Advance Auto solved that. Advance Auto has all sorts of car parts, though the organization in the store can be a bit confusing. They have your standard stuff like wiper blades, bulbs, lamps, batteries, antifreeze, oil, etc. This is the store for the do-it-yourselfer, though, so no garage or service here. I started using their book to find my make/model to get the bulb number, and as soon as one of the clerks finished with a customer he came right over to help me. He looked up my car in his computer, and it turns out the bulb was in front of me! Seven dollars later and I was out of there, and this afternoon I used the VW owner's manual and replaced both bulbs in about five minutes! Remember to always replace both bulbs -- if one has gone out, the other will be right behind! If you need parts for routine maintenance for your car, Advance Auto should be able to help you!

Bascially, they charge $150 an hour for labor, even if the labor is not to resolve the issue. If they want to charge you for draining fluids from your car, finding random things to replace, and BillyBob eating a sandwich in your car, you have no choice but to pay for their benevolent services! I have been extremely pleased with services I received at this location on multiple times. I've had a full synthetic oil change and they handled a few major concerns I had and my vehicle is running smoother. Owning a vehicle comes with regular maintenance and I'm glad I can trust AAA with my vehicle needs in these last couple months. They alleviated a lot of stress. The comprehensive safety check sounds good in theory but, in substance, not thorough- they missed noting my cabin air filter was removed. The video with the report is non-specific and mostly for "show." However, they did catch my need to replace spark plugs, which was needed per spec. The service manager, Mike, handles customers well and I appreciate the good value he gave me honoring a AAA coupon; no games. I often do this kind of routine work myself, but this was a cost effective and comfortable alternative to "DIY" in 85 degree heat.
