I had a code appear on the dashboard the night before I scheduled my appointment. I was pleased to have been able to schedule an appointment for the following morning. What I appreciated most was the fast service; they provided me an uber to work and also picked me up when my vehicle was ready. The overall service was satisfactory, and I left feeling confident that my vehicle was in good hands. The complimentary car wash was nice too! I've had my car for three years and it turns out that I was only allotted six oil changes during that time. The service counter quoted me $174 for my oil change. Quick Math tells me I was ripped off I paid over $2500 for service that would've cost me $1000... I asked to see my contract and it clearly says five years and nowhere does it say in plain English that you are only allotted six. Looking at the contract, it looks like I had 12 oil changes for five years Obviously these guys are snakes and will tell you anything to sell. I'm mad at myself for falling for this scam, but I'm more mad at them for pushing people to buy stuff that is clearly a rip off. Obviously always read the fine print

I booked an appointment online for 12:30 PM and drove about 20 minutes to get there. When I arrived, I checked in at the front and was told to wait in my car because someone would come out to help me. I waited about 18 minutes with no one approaching me, so I had to flag someone down myself. After that, I was told there were 13 cars ahead of me and it would likely take around 4 hours before they could even get to my car. At that point, I was confused and frustrated because I had booked an appointment. They explained that the appointment time was really just a drop-off time, which was not clear when booking online. The whole process felt disorganized, slow, and inattentive. The customer service was poor, and I felt like my time was completely wasted. If appointments are not actual service times, that should be made very clear upfront so customers can plan accordingly. I would not recommend coming here if you expect timely or attentive service.

I assumed it would be the same here, especially since when I drove up there was no sign that said 'go inside!' Or anything. I waited 25 minutes with no acknowledgment and multiple employees walked around my car completely ignoring me. After maybe two people had drove up after me and got serviced I thought maybe I'm supposed to go inside, so I did and finally someone was able to tell me that you have to go inside to be serviced. When I called them this same morning they said I don't need an appointment and to just come in, and so I did, but after I sat and waited to be addressed time had been lost and they told me I had to come in the next day instead because there's wasn't anymore time. I'm definitely a bit annoyed and I wish they had better communication because I don't just live down the street so I wasted some time and gas to come here. Also, they are very pushy with expensive services that you didn't ask for, definitely trying to upsell a little too much. We will not return to this location

It's "T's" job to catch that while I'm there. He should have looked at the check, but he didn't. So, I was contacted a few days later. I had to write another check and I mailed it the next day (I live over 2 hours away from Salinas). MyNissan did receive it. But in the meantime, "T" calls me again, after just two days and left a voicemail. He sounded very anxious. And I get it, but he should have checked the check! 2) I contacted the dealership via email about a specific car. "DG" (initials) got back to me. She was professional and came across as warm & helpful via email. But suddenly I couldn't get hold of her (it's my understanding after the fact that she had a family emergency). "DF" (initials) contacted me via email but didn't give me complete answers & wasn't exactly warm. But again, suddenly she dropped me too. Didn't answer my emails, questions, etc. Now "DG" had Victor Romero take a video of the car for me, which is how I knew of him. So, I had to reach out to him to continue the conversation. This is unprofessional, as I should only have to reach out once (initial reach out)! I shouldn't have to keep emailing people until someone gets back to me. So ultimately, I'm not sure if I'll ever buy a car there or not. There are some good things, but the bad things are significant issues. This dealership needs to tighten some issues. If they do, then they'll be great to deal with!
