He was even kind enough to teach me how to put my windshield wipers on myself when I asked him to do so because I did not know how to do it. Where's the honesty gone when it comes to customer service!? Came back next day, different guy helps me. He brings it out and runs a test on it and proceeds to tell me the battery took no charge and it was bad so I had to buy a new one. Even had a sticker on the battery that said it was bad. So he starts giving me prices on new ones but something didn't add up to me. So I decided to take the battery home and check it myself. Put it in my truck and it started right up. How is this a bad battery!? So either lying to customers is store policy so they spend more money or no one trained these guys on how to use a battery tester. Either way this looks really bad on AutoZone. The employees represent the brand, the company. Really disappointed!

When I arrived he took my oil pan to the back, dumped the oil for me, and brought the oil pan back in a clean plastic bag. I was in and out in under 5 minutes. First, I drove to another tire repair shop in the area, hoping they had what I needed, even something told me they didn't. While I waited in line to ask, I was already on my yelp app, looking at O'Reilly. When I inquired on what I needed, the guy also referred me to O'Reilly. Nice! Should've went there in the first place. Their parking lot is currently very weird, due to some construction and reconfiguring of the shopping center it's located in. Thankfully, it was fairly empty and Michael immediately helped me and located what I needed. He offered to pour the fluids for me and even checked my other fluids. Pricing was fair for what I needed and I was eternally grateful for his assistance. The store kind of sits back from the street and with all the construction going on and tarps up, you can almost miss it, but I'm really glad they were there and even more glad they were open during a holiday weekend!

So I did some research into replacing the battery and found that Advance Auto Parts offers free installation, AND battery registration. You have to register the battery in a timely manner, or your car won't charge your new battery properly and it won't be as good. It's basically telling your car that "hey, you have a new battery at X Ah, take care of it". For my particular car, it's $90+ of gear/software on top of everything else. I went into the store, Esteban was immediately there to help me locate the correct battery and help me install it. Seriously went above and beyond to help me. Btw, while they do installations and stuff, they can't see in the dark. So depending on the time of year, installations can end as early as 4pm. Highly recommend this place for your car needs, especially if you're not confident about battery, wiper, etc... install.

Recently I discovered that I had a minor issue starting my car and I made an educated guess that…read morethe issue was car battery since it had been a couple of years since the last swap. I didn't want to go to AutoZone or O'Reilly Auto Parts because there's no guarantee that one of the employees will assist customers with installing a battery, so I did a little more searching on Yelp and decided to drive to Long Beach to one of Continental Battery Systems locations. I didn't make any reservation and simply walked in 30 minutes before the 5 PM closing time and was able to park immediately. One of the staff members was able to test my battery and confirmed that it was bad. They offered new ($200+ for an L2/H5/47CP Automotive Battery) or used ($60+) batteries and I decided to get a brand-new one. The new battery has a 3-year warranty and the used battery has a shorter warranty (just a few months). There was a $15 service fee + sales tax so the grand total was approximately $250. The staff was able to complete the installation quickly and I left the shop in 15 minutes. Overall friendly staff and efficient service. Now I know where to go if I ever need a battery replacement - save me time trying to figure it out myself as the shop has all the tools and experienced staff members to make battery installation easy.

The first one lasted well over four years but it was starting to feel just a little weak so rather than risk having a dead battery and having to call the auto club, I drove back over to their conveniently located shop and I was in and out with a new battery in 15 minutes. The staff was very friendly and actually down sold me from a more expensive battery saying the power draw on my car wouldn't warrant it. In short, both of my experiences with this place have been great.
