I pledged to continue patronizing this location for all of my auto parts needs. Today I went there, again for a headlight bulb on the driver's side, which is what I purchased less than a year ago, so that is odd. Not saying that Napa sold me a faulty part, but maybe I have an electrical issue with my car? Something for me to think about. Anyway, I was assisted by a woman, and though I didn't notice her name, her nametag said she was an assistant store manager. Unfortunately, she had the stereotypical personality for a person in the auto parts and service industry, which is to say she was unsmiling, unfriendly, and made virtually no eye contact. Just not a people person. She looked at her computer screen, mumbling about the system not working properly, and took forever to find my part. When she showed me to the section and picked out the part, she still seemed unsure of herself as to whether it was the correct headlight bulb. At that point I was really feeling uncomfortable with going through with the transaction, wondering if she would give me the right part. I wanted to leave. That decision was made easy when I got to the register and their system would not allow me to pay with a credit card. She asked me if I had cash, I said "No", and started to leave, and she gave me an apology that seemed to me to lack any sincerity. I went to O'Reillys, where a nice gentleman got my part right away. I'll be going there from now on for my auto parts needs.
