This store needs A LOT of training on the products they sell and customer service!! I went into the store today for a few off the shelf items and oil change supplies. I noticed it was a little busy but its the weekend so its expected but the 2 guys that were working looked lost. One of them was trying to work the computer and was getting frustrated, Im assuming he is new. The phone kept ringing and neither one attempted to at least pick it up and put it on hold. The phone rang again, and he finally picked it up....no greeting, no mention of the store name, just Hello!? I think one of the guys name was Marvin, the lead associate....he is something else, he was so rude and argumentative with a customer about a part that he was asking for. I dont claim to know about car parts, but if someone looks like they work on cars Im not going to tell them they are wrong and try to sell them something they aren't asking for. I didnt feel confident that I would be walking out of this store with what I actually needed so I left and went to the San Fernando store. The Sylmar store is really close to home, but i dont think Ill be coming back. The service at San Fernando was so much better and Sofie and Shay were really great and knowledgeable. I went in for brake pads . They didn't have the ones I had found online . Andre gave us amazing customer service and helped me find other ones that would work . He also recommended another item to us that helped us out greatly . He was so incredibly sweet to my daughter too . I love great customer service ! I was looking for snow chains, and Justine was so helpful. She let me know that her store was out sold out. They would not be in stock until the following Tuesday. She checked stores around the area, and to no luck still could not find any. Justine after a broader search she was able to find snow chains in stock at the O'reaily store in Thousand Oaks. I'll give it two stars because it started off well... The guy helping me was super nice and even looked around to find me the correct part. He told me that it would come in the following day around noon, I called back the next day 3x and they said they'd get back to me they are trying to TRACK the part, so I never got a phone call and I ended up having to drive down there from Santa Clarita which granted isn't that far but that's what it took to finally get an answer of what's going on... Currently still waiting for my part here in the store! I just hate when people don't follow through or go with the original thing they said... Keep your word or call back if something changes... Don't leave me hanging till I show up in your friggen store and pull the results from you... Went in to return unused snow chains that were purchased a day ago. They ended up being too small for the tires, therefore unused. They gave a bad attitude the entire time I was there. I ended up getting my refund but when I asked for my receipt the man helping me decided to throw it at me instead of handing it to me. I try to be as nice as I can to customer service employees because working with the public is difficult but this type of attitude was completely uncalled for. read more
