Listening to an employee talk poorly about customers because "they come in here and don't buy anything" then use me as an example "like this guy right here" because I "just" was depositing oil today. I was in there two days before buying oil and an oil filter, I would have bought coolant today if you carried Motorcraft, and I have been a frequent customers to this store for 10+ years. Impressive service, Visited this location upon finding out they had stock of a vehicle part I needed. The Manager and staff were very accommodating. Took their time to identify the needed parts. I am glad they did as MB had two different needed sizes which needed installation in order to work per manufacturer's specifications. Additionally, they asked me if I wanted them to install the needed parts at no charge, which they did without explanation. I would like to highlight my appreciation for an employee at this Autozone, his name is Esteban. His customer service is amazing, he went above and beyond to assist me this past Friday 3/10/2023. I needed help with my dome light bulb (I didn't know that's what it was called until he informed me). He first started out by looking up the information on the fuse, once he got it he switched out for me, my fused was burnt out. However, that didn't prompt my dome light to work so he again went back this time to look up the dome light bulb information and provide that for me as well, it worked! My dome light is now functioning, I was super ecstatic since my indoor light hadn't worked in months. And he was hands on helping me switch out the fuse while it was raining. I'm prompted to express my appreciation for him because last Friday was my second encounter with him, my initial encounter with him was a few months ago and it was also very pleasant. He had assisted me with choosing a good quality windshield wiper, and as we know it's been raining more than usual in Los Angeles, the windshield wiper he recommended was a great purchase. And he again went above and beyond by switching out the windshield wiper for me. I don't live in the SFV, but I go there because the customer service there is worth going for, so when I'm in the area I make a stop there for my non emergency vehicle needs. read more

Don't ever call or place an online order for pickup cause this place will just ignore. Place order for pick up from app 9am only 4 items 2pm still no email saying it's available for pick up. Call get placed on hold and never picked up after 15min on hold. This place needs more competent management that can train employees about customer service. read more

I bought 3 windshield blades in @Autozone San Fernando CA for $42.96 using a $27.35 store credit and I paid an additional $15.61 with my credit card to cover the difference. I had to return one of the blades in @Autozone Sylmar CA since it won't fit and I was owed a refund of $14.32. Instead of giving the amount back to my credit card, I was told that I can only get a store credit since part of my purchase was paid with store credit. I argued on the contrary but the manager insisted on the store credit. Even after elevating the issue to their Customer Service, they still won't refund the amount to my credit card. This doesn't make any sense to me at all since I'm only asking for a credit card refund which is even less than the amount I paid with my card. Is what I'm asking for unreasonable? read more

Every employee at this location has a long "I don't want to work here" horse face. Unprofessional and unknowledgeable! The term "they hire any clown off the street" comes to mind. The store is unorganized, the employees blast raunchy narco corrido music and you can hear about three employees in the back talking about nonsense. Second of all, they had at least 5 people working and only one was on the register. They were dealing with customer and a payment issue for at least 5 minutes. These guys go above and beyond the call of duty!!! After a long day of driving for work I went into this autozone around 9:15pm to get a brake light replacement after another motorist had told me I had one of them out in the afternoon. The geniuses at Mercedes put a plastic screw in the assembly for the brake light and I nearly stripped one of them trying to remove it at home... I didn't have the proper tools to get it off since the screwdriver was doing more harm than good nor did I have any parts to put on my drill that fit these huge plastic screws... so I rushed back over to this auto zone, showing up at 9:50pm (they close at 10 btw) and Michael G. and his associates saved me with the proper fit for a ratchet, so I could replace that bulb at last. But that's not it... I had mentioned to Michael that I had issues installing some head lights I had bought previously at their store, as I watched a truly misinformed YouTube video on how to change them out and couldn't get it done myself. He took the initiative to MAKE SURE I didn't leave without them properly installed and working, and installed them himself!!! Needless to say, I felt pretty bad keeping these guys past 10pm (until 10:15 or so), as I know how it goes when you have a customer come in at the last minute as you're preparing to close after a long day... but never once did they act annoyed with my helplessness, or the fact that I was keeping them past closing time. Hats off to these gentlemen, especially Michael G., for their patience and relentlessness in making sure I left with all my lights working and my vehicle in its best working condition to ensure I don't get pulled over for having a tail light out or some other bs. He even made sure to double check that everything was good to go before I left. Needless to say, I'd give them 10 stars if I could, I've never experienced such quality customer service. I thought I would be fumbling around looking for my item and would be using google to find out how to install this but Sonny helped me out and I felt kinda special because he went out of his way to make sure I install it correctly. He said confidently "my computer system doesn't disclose the type of steering fluid cars need" even though I provided the year,make and model of my vehicle. He asked me politely to look online for accuracy. While still in the store, I called O'Reillys in Sylmar on Glenoaks and Hubbard and spoke to Christian.
