Not that it matters, but the one item that I would have purchased each time wouldn't have taken them long to ring up.

However, I do call ahead of time to make sure that the parts are available and the two times that I visited here everything has been available and ready for pick up at the front desk. I actually have a mechanic that I work and he has a reputable reputation with the company as well so everything works out perfectly... availability and deals! The store is a little hard to spot from the road but if you have any GPS system it should guide you spot on! I used my Google Maps without worry. The shop is kind of small however they do have a few shelves of items that you can browse around to see if it's anything else that you need for your vehicle but they mainly specialize in imported cars. And store is pretty much for stocking items and not so much on the main floor. The building does appear larger from outside. No sugar coating here... they're definitely straight and to the point with you. A great group of guys. Parking is alongside the store on the street or there is parking directly behind the building. Be careful heading back on the main street... super busy area of Norfolk. They usually close at 6 during the week and a little earlier on Saturday...call ahead to verify. Hubby had called another mobile tech business who said it would be 5 days! Before getting to us. not realizing I had done research and was planning on calling these guys. They were to us at our site within a couple hrs of calling!! The first repair failed but these guys refused to give up on us for the sake of our kids! Crawling around in the sand filled with painful sand spurs they traced the horde line all the way through and replaced it. 1 month later and we still have no new issues. They could have given up but they didn't and for that I am forever grateful

When I went to drop the car off Theresa said I would need to leave my vehicle with them for three to four days because they had a backlog of about ten inspections to be done. Really? I asked her why they allowed me to make an appointment and she said that even though I called the store directly I had been sent to a call center that was not local.

This experience has been a nightmare - PepBoys will schedule the appointment online and take…read morepayment - the service provided as reported by my wife was okay - not great - and when they were finished I was sent a link for payment even though I provided information for payment when I booked the appointment - then I was double charged for the service - my wife returned to the store within 20 minutes and spoke to the tech (Matt) - he explained the second charge should fall off but he did not know how to fix it - Matt provided the name of the store manager and advised to contact him on Monday - the charge never fell off - I went to the store (Norfolk, VA) and was told the store manager was out on medical leave and there was no other supervisor - no one to help - really - I've contacted customer service several times and I'm still waiting to resolve this issue. It would be one thing if it were a charge less than $100 - but we're talking more then $1100.

They answered all my questions regarding suspension along w/ tire / wheel fitment on a new F-250 I'm planning on purchasing soon!! They were steering me ( no pun intended ) to the new S&B / One Up Off-Road kit that just hit the market.
