Originally took unit in for slide maintenance and hydraulic jack problems. I was told I needed all new batteries (4), a window replacement, and new roof, and they didn't see any problem with the jacks. I met with the shop manager, and another techinican to review the problems. The original technician was off that day. With the list of issues, we went down the list. They both confirmed, batteries didn't need replacement (I had replaced them in April 2024, the unit needed to be plugged in as they had let the batteries go dead from sitting on their lot for a month), the window DID NOT need replacement, and my 2021 unit DID NOT need a new roof. And oh yeah, there was a significant problem with the front jacks that needed replacement. I barred the original technician from doing any work on my unit. Before the parts could be ordered, LazyDays Texas filed bankruptcy.

The only negative thing I have to say is their wait time. For the lift, they were pretty busy despite haveing a scheduled appointment. That and the very poor wifi connection in the shop with no cell service was hard to do anything productful. I ended up having to leave my truck there over night since I had prior obligations, my appointment started at 8am but I wasn't told it wouldn't be finished until 4-5pm until 2hours into appointed time. When I arrived for the appointment I was told it would take an hour to an hour and a half and they were spot on. The only downside of the wait time was the designated space they have for waiting. A handful of chairs in the back of the front showroom. A TV or a water cooler/coffee maker would substantially upgrade the comfort level, but alas they are new as assumed by the "now open" flags flying outside, so they get a pass for that. All in all I highly recommend VIP for hitch install over UHaul who said it would take a couple of weeks.

Their great reviews about being treated fairly and "like family" was really what brought me in. I wanted to believe in a car repair shop again. Not everyone is out to bleed you dry. My car had been having some really rough muffler sounds that escalated over time .. so I brought it into Cliff himself (sweetest nicest man ever!) and he referred me to another shop that handles mufflers since my issue was a small one. Cliff could have handled it there but the OEM repair would have been too expensive and unreasonable when I can just get a quick weld job at a nearby muffler shop. Cliff did not charge me a dime for that first visit, to check my car or anything!! Wow! I was very grateful to him and vowed to return business again. The following week I returned my car to get some Maint eve work done, tune up, etc. and it was just as pleasant! Shanna helped me in setting up a loaner while my car was in the shop and they were even faster than what originally thought! She is very sweet to deal with and super nice.
