Although I did have great service and kind team members, it took longer than expected! I think I was second in line but because I was behind a car that was getting multiple services, I was waiting a while. They did have two garages in which I thought I would be asked to move to the garage that was empty, but another car pulled up and they started servicing that car instead of me. I am usually patient but from my work, it took me 8 mins and if I'm waiting 30 and take 8 to get back and all have to consider time to the the job, that bothered me a little. The invoice only shows the total cost for each service as a whole, making it impossible for customers to see exactly what they are paying for. That is not being transparent or honest with customers. I discovered the parts prices and the labor charges through a link they had sent me. At the time they sent it, it only showed the totals, just like the printed invoice they gave me. However, a few days later, the same link displayed much more detailed information. If they were truly honest, they would provide customers with the complete breakdown from the beginning instead of only partial information that leaves customers uninformed and makes it difficult to understand exactly what they are being charged for.

They found a nail and said the tires were fine and didn't need replacing. They patched the hole. The patch they used wasn't the right size it turns out, and when I got back to Houston I went to Cherry Park to have it repaired with the correct sized patch. They told me my tires were all cracked and worn and I needed to replace all four. I wasn't going to do that. They're a little over a year old and I was JUST told by someone I trust that they were still good, but the one just had the nail in it. So when I picked it up, there was a warning light beeping and blinking saying my tailgate was open. I opened and closed it, turned the car off and back on and the light was still flashing. I went back inside and told the guy at the front who responded with "yeah I just saw that when I brought it up". If you saw that, why did you just hand me the key and say it was good to go? They took it back and kept it overnight to figure out what happened. My husband went to pick it up today and it was fine at first but then basically every warning light and sensor the car has started blinking and beeping. I'm taking it elsewhere to be fixed for real this time and I wont be going back. When Will worked at the front desk, he was honest about when we actually needed work on our cars and when we didn't. Since he left, the shop hasn't been the same.

As a female who is intimidated by car service-car repair-car anything-even a…read morebasic engine oil change in the past-I was stressed when I walked out of Kroger right down the street and my tire was at a PSI of 21 at 5:30pm at the end of the day. I found a nail in my tire so I logged into Google maps, found the closest auto shops, and started calling around. This Sun auto tire & service on Barker Cypress answered the phone (Jacob) and was courteous and calm and waited for me. Jacob explained everything and did not rush me out the door at 6 PM when they were supposed to close. He checked my tire and gave me honest feedback on whether it was repairable or not. Unfortunately, I had to purchase a new tire, but they didn't have it in stock. He called his warehouse, found one and I came back the next morning. In the meantime, he filled my tire with air and ensured that I could get home. I had to fill my tires two more times in the next 16 hours and then I came back around 10:30am the next morning. To get a second opinion, I did stop by a Discount Tire in the area as well, in the morning, but while they had a better price on the tire and had it in stock, their warranty was more expensive and only covered one year while SUN AUTO covers the repair for the lifetime of the tire until a certain tread depth. When I came back for the repair, the manager, joe, was just as helpful. He called me to check on the status of my tire, and then called me exactly when the tire arrived so I could come in asap. He was available at the check in desk explained the warranty to me. I did not mind sitting in this waiting area at all because it's beautiful, aesthetic, and clean... and there's coffee (I didn't have any since I'd picked mine up on the way). The only random thing is that the women's bathrooom has a cracked toilet seat hahaha. I didn't get pics, but other reviews have tons of pics. I'll just share my itemized bill which is for a special extra load tire for a TESLA which apparently always costs more....
