Incident Details: Date: July 30, 2025 Location: ACB Junkyard, Pearl City, Hawaii Vehicle: Dump truck owned by Oahu Dump Run License Plate: 144 TWE USDOT#: 3754983 Police Report Number: 25-281666 Summary: While my two sons and my friend were sitting inside my parked car, a dump truck belonging to Oahu Dump Run backed into my vehicle, causing damage. When I approached the driver to request their insurance and driver's license, the driver refused to provide any information and left the scene. I immediately filed a report with the Honolulu Police Department. This is a serious safety concern, as the vehicle operator: Caused damage while operating a commercial vehicle Left the scene without taking responsibility Refused to provide required documents or insurance details I am requesting that HDOT investigate this incident as a violation of commercial motor vehicle safety and hit-and-run behavior. I had a lifetime of accumulated junk and these these guys like magic made it disappear. They're real pros, and made short work of it. I had bagged up a whole crapload of water-damaged items, and was only focused on getting rid of that. I had been trying to visualize what could fit in the dimensions I had been quoted, but badly misjudged. When I realized how much more could fit in the truck, I started scrambling to throw more stuff on the pile. The crew was so patient and helpful through this whole process. It was stressful but oddly freeing to have to decide on the fly what was crap and what was worth keeping. If you're like me and have been living in and around stuff that you've never used once but *might* one day need but that day never fricken came, maybe give these guys a call? I scheduled a pickup with Oahu Dump Run and wanted all items removed. I was quoted a price which I accepted and met the drivers at my client's listing as I am the listing agent. I told the drivers that my number was on the For Sale sign in case they needed anything and left. They send me the bill which was as quoted and I promptly paid. To my surprise, my client went to the house and took photos of how it was left which are attached. This was several days after I told her the job had been done. I called and asked to speak to a manager and spoke to a male. I asked why no one called me to tell me that the job had not been completed and he said they did 3 loads, I told him that I should have been called and given the option to pay for another load or that they would stop the job but it wasn't completed. I received no such call and had they called I would have told them to continue. He said that was partially their fault for not calling but it was partially my fault too. I was so appalled that he was trying to blame me, a customer that promptly paid them, for not knowing that they didn't complete the job. I then ask to speak to the owner and at that point we were communicating in email. He tells me he will pass the email on but that I need to write in a nice and cordial manner and that they could go back out but would have to charge me. I told him that I don't appreciate him telling me how to write an email, as I was irate that the job was not done, but was not disrespectful nor did I use profanity towards them. This manager had no sense of empathy, did not try to apologize, or try to appease me in any way, no offer of a discount, nothing, just tried to blame me, the customer! And the owner didn't get back to me either. So please take a look at these photos and see if any customer would expect the place to look like this after specifically asking them to empty everything and already paying them over $2,200. I have never left a negative review but this had to be shared, especially since I gave them a couple of opportunities to make it right and no one did. Very disappointed in this company, the job they did and the manager's lack of customer service. I am a realtor and could have given them a lot of business but instead am taking the time to leave this review just so the public can be warned. read more

They deserve 10 STARS Competitive price and affordable! I'm immensely pleased with the service Oahu Dump Run provided. A dear friend of mine unexpectedly passed away and I've been clearing out her 2bd/2bath apartment. I called and spoke to Lei who met up with me at the location the very next morning Thurs 11/12/2020 to assess the work and give me an estimate. The following day, a three man crew showed up to do the job. I wish I had called them for the first phase of this project. They performed the work with precision and care! They showed up prepared with dolly equipment and with all the tools of their trade. They also wore masks!!!! Phase one, I had regretfully hired another junk removal company from Kailua a few weeks earlier and they cleared out only the living room and charged me double and an outrageous amount and their one truck wasn't even filled up in a way that would benefit the customer. After all, customers are charged by the truck volume! Phase two, Oahu Dump Run showed up on time. They even called twice 15 - 30 minutes prior to my appointment time to let me know they're on their way. The crew was STRONG, friendly, professional, efficient, meticulous, methodical, organized and extremely coordinated in how they worked together and how they packed up everything (furniture etc) so that there was no empty space or air pockets in the truck. It was impressive work making everything fit snuggly like a game of Tetris. They put me the customer first by ensuring that the truck volume was maximized to benefit the customer. They cleared out 2 bedrooms, a patio and much much more for a VERY REASONABLE PRICE. And generously helped me load more trash into my personal truck! This is a company that undoubtedly will flourish in its industry because they mastered the true elements of being a successful business... they put their customers first and demonstrate their loyalty thru their service and dedication to their customers. I spoke to Lei at Oahu Dump Run and she was very courteous, friendly and professional. She came out to my residence and inspected the area on what I wanted to be removed. After she inspected my property, I was given a quote and a date and time was made for the removal of construction debris and miscellaneous trash. On the day of the removal, April 23, 2021, Three workers from Oahu Dump Run arrived and did the job very fast and was very organized. These three workers were very professional and friendly. We didn't use Dump Run to remove trash. We used them to move a lot of stuff to a storage unit down the street. They also move stuff for you as well. I will call them again without a worry. Roy and Teddy are sweethearts and I feel they went beyond what I expected. I told them where the stuff was and it didn't matter to them where it was, they just got it loaded. I expected to get a rolling eye or smirks. I got none of that. I just got smiles all around. When we got to the storage, they gave us a hard time. Roy and Teddy took it all in stride. I couldn't thank them enough for helping us with everything. We got a call from Leilani for payment and that also went as smooth as possible. We were quoted how much it might cost and that's what they charged. I haven't moved in 30 years, and I didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. I had another company come to take two very heavy items away and they could not do so. So, after seeing Oahu Dump Run TV commercial, I decided to try them. I explained about the other competitor and then was told to send a picture via text and they will let me know? I did and they said they will be able to do the job and quoted me a price. I agreed and today, they came and removed the two very heavy bulky items - metal lathe and metal sheet shear cutter. I had to video them and they asked if I would send the video so they would have proof of performing this task. I gladly did so! My only regret is that I did not contact them first! They were very courteous, professional and imaginative in resolving the issue of removing those items. i would highly recommend them for any junk removal items. read more

From the moment I called after seeing their commercial I knew they would take care of my needs. I made an appt for an estimate and scheduled pick right away. They showed up early, started to load up and realized they needed more help. Called for 2 more guys and worked non-stop until they were done. The guys were polite and hard working. I knew it was a big job and they never complained. They saved me money by fitting everything into one truck. To show my appreciation I bought them lunch, water and soda. Then team was here on time greeted me with a smile. I had a truck load of junk that they removed for small reasonable fee. I called the other guys and they quoted me move then i was willing to pay.
