I'm not one to purchase too many drinks that require recycling but do try to accumulate some whenever possible so going to drop off items aren't usually necessary as gathering enough items does take some time. As my recyclables starting to add up a bit and decided to see where's the closest drop off location to my surprise that this Halawa location is open on Sundays! Love that and it is quite deep in as I drove and easily found it and found the process quite easy as it's a simple driveway with a few parking stall just steps away from the drop off area so there isn't just one car but multiple folks are able to drop off without being each others way. There are signs to inform you of the process they follow, all the basically the same process of emptying your items in the huge gray bins which they weigh or count the items and head to the cashier to pick up your cash. The staff is very efficient and friendly as I thank them for being open on a Sunday as the time saved is priceless and getting my items dropped off gave me a bit of breathing room that was much needed. The guys worked hard for our move, no doubt about that. They worked the whole time and weren't…read morelazy. The only downside about this moving company is there was damage to our furniture/tv. If you use them, make sure you protect your own furniture by wrapping it well. This is the mistake I made. Also our tv was damaged, no cracked screen, we just have a vertical line during certain images on the left edge of the screen now. It was an expensive oled, we spent over 4k for it. They didn't use the box I purchased and assured me would be better out of the box. My fault for not insisting on using the box. Our tv stand suffered minor dings, like paint chips, I was able to cover it up with some touch up paint so no big deal. I would recommend them if you protect your own items well.

Scheduled a move 2 weeks in advance. Was supposed to meet at storage units at 9a. Received phone…read morecall at 9:30a saying their truck broke down so they'd be there at 1p. When called at noon to make sure they'd be there, no answer. After numerous phone calls between the agent, moving company rep (the ONLY ONE at Ewa Moving who was helpful & went above & beyond) and even the owner of Ewa Moving, items were finally picked up at 3:45p. They loaded up half because their "largest" truck couldn't do the complete move knowing full well it was 2 completely filled storage units. They finally got to my new home at 6:20p. They were supposed to set things up with what they had. Instead they left it in the garage. When I informed the owner his response was "Ok whatever we didn't finish, XXXXXXX will complete" Wow - lack of professionalism. He made it seem like it was my fault. As a customer I shouldn't have to be making endless phone calls & chasing down movers. This was a contracted move through a moving company. Even they were surprised at the attitude. I cannot ever recommend a company that treats their customers this way. Martin (the owner) says they do a lot of military moves. I'd think twice if they treat locals this way. *The rating would be a No Star but that's not an option.

First I want to thank the hard working staff at Extra space as our stay could have not been great…read morewithout the excellent customer service. In the beginning, we rented there when It was A-American storage and then it changed to Extra Space storage. We were there 20+ years. My only major concern that made us leave this storage facility is it raised our rent pretty frequently, and when I complained about it they responded by saying they have no control over it. Extra space storage can raise the rent every quarter or to the industry standard (unknown what that means.) if they desired. I moved several times to a smaller unit to lower the monthly cost just to have them rapidly raise my rent by at least $50. I finally got fed up with receiving post cards from Extra space storage telling me that my rent was going up again. This last time I moved out and two months later here comes the $50 increase. I'm in a good storage now with no surprise rental raises. Extra charge storage, I meant extra space storage is now a distant memory. Remember, if your Needs are not being met, you have other choices to choose from. Aloha
