While on a road trip, we went through Norwalk and started looking for a place to eat. We saw the…read morereviews for this restaurant on Yelp and we thought ...Wow this place better live up to the hype! I'm happy to report that it did! As others have stated it is really beautiful. And the owner has tried to keep the updates true to the history of this building. And it has just about everything! When we first walked in, it was a very cute, cozy, Coffee Shop! Then of course you have the Main Dining room. Keep going and you'll see Dinky's their Bar which features a boat that serves as the liquor cabinet! And yet one more room for Events - holds about 50 people. Each and every room is set up perfectly for the venue it is intended for. My husband read a review about the Burger with bacon jam - so he ordered that and Loved it! I got fish and chips and they were also very good. We also got an onion rings.... they were OK - nothing to write home about. I actually really wanted a burger, but the burgers there are huge! I guess my request would be that they put a smaller burger on the menu for those of us with smaller appetites Pleeeze Our waitress was named Crystal and she was very knowledgeable about the establishment and had a very cool laid-back manner. Her friendly attitude is a real asset to Berrys. She did a great job today! I met the Owner while she was setting up the Event space for a party, and she was very nice. You can tell that she works hard there and really cares about the customer's experience. So believe the hype people and do yourself a favor and whether you want coffee or a beer or need a place for your event or just a good meal, go to Berrys on Main!

Great service, cute old-fashioned atmosphere but a surprisingly diverse American menu. Definitely…read moreworth a stop if you are near Norwalk! The baked goat cheese with crostini appetizer was particularly good!

My Mr did some research on some dog friendly places and he found D & D Smith Winery. Mixed reviews but we had a feeling that it was laid back so we took a chance. He called before we headed out ( he had a couple of questions) and the owner Danielle answered and was very down to earth. We got there and the patio was shaded with picnic tables. I was very impressed with the selections of wine they had to offer. Many drys and some sweets. So we decided to get a flight: 6 for $5.00 $1.00 each for additional tastings Pinot Grigio Sauvignon Blanc Riesling Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Sangiovese Crooked House (red blend) Cabernet Franc Port Blue (port wine made from blueberries) My fave was the Cab Franc and Sauvignon that I had to get two bottles to take home. $14.00 a bottle. We didn't want to leave just yet so we decided to get a glass a piece for $5.00. I got the Sangiovese and my Mr got the Crooked House red blend. We thought about it and got another bottle to take home of the Port Blue as a dessert wine. All were so good! Besides wine this place has a lot to offer. They serve Appetizers, Meals, Soups, Pizza, Salads, Desserts, Beer, Mixed Drinks, Hard Coder, Non Alcohol Beverages (coke, sprite, Diet Coke, water, hot chocolate, tea and sparkling grape juice. The experience was great and I am so glad that we payed them a visit. I left happy and wine to take home back to Cincy.

The place radiates friendliness and you truly feel like a regular when you walk in, warmly greeted right away and taken care of the entire duration of your meal. My family had returned after a long day of theme park food and I needed something lite - and their seasonal salad was just what I needed. It was a very generous portion with some of my the sweetest strawberries I've ever had with candied walnuts, feta cheese, and a delicious vinaigrette to go along with it. Skip the theme park dining when you can - or at the very least, supplement it with this delicious cuisine and friendly service.

Our first night in Sandusky landed us in this small tavern right across Lake Erie…read more Very casual vibe and everyone was very accommodating but seemed overwhelmed. For an appetizer, we ordered the wedge salad and the Buffalo Chicken dip. I got the perch dinner for my main course. The kid got a chicken sandwich and my wife got the brisket Mac n cheese. They said that the kitchen was backed up. Honestly, it was totally not an issue. We were just relaxing, watching the game and chilling after a 7 hour drive from NJ. What was an issue was...... appetizers came out exactly the and time as the main courses. WHY????????? It couldn't have taken that long to throw blue cheese, bacon and tomatoes on a chunk of lettuce and pump out the Buffalo Chicken dip and then worry about the main courses later. Now we have to decide, do we want to eat the entrees or even touch the appetizers. That alone always ruins everything. Food was very good. Like I said, people were very nice but you just can't bring everything out at once. Defeats the point of "starting" with something.
