My only small critique is that I would have loved for the sugar scrub portion to last a little longer and include a bit more of a leg massage. The massage chairs are fairly basic compared with some nail spas, but they still got the job done. The reflexology was definitely a highlight! I arrived at 11:03 AM as a walk-in. At 11:58 AM, I checked with the receptionist and was told there was still one person ahead of me. I completely understand that appointments may take priority and that walk-ins may have to wait. However, if the salon primarily operates by appointment or the anticipated wait for a walk-in is significant, I believe that should be communicated upon arrival. That would have allowed me to decide whether I wanted to wait or return at another time. My greatest disappointment was not necessarily the wait itself, but the lack of communication and hospitality during that time. No one checked in with me or provided an updated estimate of how much longer the wait would be. It was not until approximately 1:39 PM that one of the nail technicians kindly offered me some water, which I appreciated. I drove across town specifically to experience this salon because of the positive things I had heard. This visit was also intended to be part of my self-care birthday weekend, so unfortunately, spending such a significant amount of time waiting without consistent communication made the experience more stressful than relaxing.
