The wine tasting we had was such a great enjoyable option, and we got to choose 5 wines for $20. I loved the award winning options, and we even got a couple bonus options to try. I loved all of them! The ambience here is really great and it is very elegant and it is perfect for a French and lunch and wine tasting and even an event as well. . Service was really friendly and they were really quick on their feet. They were very accommodating with bringing hot sauce and Juice when we requested it. . The Highlight item that we really like is the Pea Sprout bruchetta which has a grilled sourdough with formage blanc cheese spread. Definitely fresh and different and healthy. . We really like the bubbles it was very refreshing and has a nice touch of Granny apples to the opening of the bubbles. It was not on the sweet side and it was perfect for appearing with lighter dishes that is offered on the menu. . We also enjoy cow's milk Barada which was a very unique dish with Szechuan pepper and a really nice pistachio nuts and honey and the burrata which was very tasty and very complex and goes well with a Malbec red wine. . Overall I will come back and visit this place again with future menus as they do change monthly or whenever the season is in stock with new items. We arrived here just when they opened so it was nice and quiet. We first started off with food. I got the chicken katsu, thin chicken slices with a nice crunchy crust with a side of potato chips. Burrata was delicious and came with cherries on the side which tasted so fresh. Garden sage biscuit had jalapeño cream cheese so there was a nice kick to it and the biscuit is huge! Then we did the wine tasting. We were able to pick five from their menu and had extra splashes of wine that we were interested. The host was amazing and attentive. Beautiful property with a lot of charm, but the check-in process for both the tasting and restaurant felt disorganized and a bit chaotic. The food was solid, though not particularly memorable. The tasting experience itself wasn't very relaxing--being limited to the bar made it feel crowded, with guests packed closely together. That said, the setting really shines outdoors. It's a great spot to grab a bottle, enjoy the patio, and take in the atmosphere. The standout for me was the red wine "Vapor Trail"--rich, smooth, and worth revisiting. It all started from a glass of 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon I had for dinner at one of my favorite restaurant. It was so delicious that I searched it up to purchase a few bottles. To my surprised, Oak Farm Vineyards not only have a tasting room but also serve breakfast, brunch and lunch. When my east coast family visited a couple of weeks ago, I knew I had to bring them here for lunch and wine tasting. I had an idea what the vineyards looks like from photos on social media but seeing it in person is totally another experience. The grounds were well kept and beautiful. I must have seen at least two staff cleaning, dusting and tidying up the tasting room. I love the tall ceilings, openness, lighting and covered patio. We had reservation for 8 people for lunch and sat at the covered patio. It's spacious and the weather was just perfect that day. Our host/server was Caitlin, and she was incredibly friendly and attentive. We opened two bottles of red wine (Zinfandel and Cab) and pretty much order one of everything on the menu. The food was delicious. Definitely get the French Bread! It was warm and came with soft butter and sea salt. I can eat the whole loaf by myself. You can't go wrong with beef short rib hash and lamb sandwich. Great menu with many shareable dishes and reasonable price. As for the wine, they did not have the 2022 Cab, so we tried the 2021 Cab (Estate Grown). It's not as memorable as the 2022 that I had but still very good. Perhaps it was the food I had that day. We also had the Zinfandel which is my sister's favorite, equally good. Overall, a fantastic first time experience. My sister and I have memberships at few wineries and none of them have real good food, except for cheese and crackers. I'm seriously considering joining their membership. read more

I really had higher hopes for this tasting room. It's a beautiful room and vineyard. I've visited before the last time I was in town and I was so disappointed with an older lady with shorter reddish brown hair here in the tasting room with her lack of service and manners. There are so many spots around their bar for tasting, but we were told to move down by this old rude lady for a party of four that was a walk up although we were told that we had to keep our reservation time. By now I'm clearly annoyed and looking around, there were more people and open spots towards the center, but we're bombarded with the A holes next to us without a reservation. We were now next to a sign for this "walk up" party. If I wasn't on vacation, I would have had spoke my mind to her. She's lucky I was in a good mood because I was just at Block 21. We only ended up staying because Tracy and Hannah. Thank you ladies for taking care of us while we were here. That walk up that they shouldn't have taken in our slot and waited for the next tasting. I don't recommend bringing anyone you care about here to get treated like crap by this old lady. Hanging out with the locals in this town, they have similar negative stories about this tasting room. I'm not one for supporting or recommend anyone's business that doesn't take care of your locals. Your prices are higher for Lodi, but your service is fast food. My take away from here, this vineyard has a few good wines and let it go to their heads and forgetting good service brings your guests back. Pretentious, stuck up and over priced are just a few adjectives from locals to describe this place and I don't disagree. Our next Lodi trip, I'll be crossing this one off our map. We won't be return indefinitely. There are so many vineyards around that will take care of you as a patron. read more

After seeing Oak Farm on IG, I was really interested in checking them out and seeing how they compare to some of the other wineries we are club members with. The grounds were simply beautiful, offering that casual yet elegant farm feel. You are greeted by the awesome view of the vineyard and the warmth of the barn-like building. We had reservations for the tasting. Ted was our host and was simply the best! My only complaint is I wish they had seating at the bar for the wine tasting. We mainly stuck with the reds! Let me tell you..they were all delicious! Ted went off script and offered tasting after tasting and catered to our individual pallet. Now comes the difficult part...how to narrow down to my favorite? Ugh! Afterwards, we enjoyed some small plates. The food was divine....and here comes Ted, to pour us even more wine to pair with our food! Basically, yes....Oak Farm did not disappoint! I just had the worst experience here. I became a member because it sounded like it would be fun to come here when i am in town for work. i have been here twice and the employees have been rude. The first time was when there was live music and this middle aged woman was being rude and one of the servers named Angel had to apologize for her and was being rude to him.. Today i came back again and apparently it was slow today so kitchen closed early no shareables for wine tasting when my tasting was scheduled for 4. So we finished the wine tasting early and waited outside for the our Uber at exactly 5pm we were kicked out to wait on the road by the front gate because the employees wanted to leave, with the Uber coming at 5:03. Maybe if I was a different demographic I would be treated with more respect. In a month I dropped about $600 here and even if the wine is good it's not worth being treated like trash. If you like red wine, this is your place! They offer tastings or by the glass. Check the times as they end the tasting earlier than the vineyard closes. Grab some food from your favorite restaurant and bring it for lunch. There are tables outside which is perfect during nicer weather. My wife and I were planning a reception in Lodi and visited a number of locations but the charm of the Oak Farm site and amazing barn that they offered as a venue sold us. The ease of working with Kristina and the amazing service they delivered on the night of our reception is what made me want to provide this review. My husband and I had reservations at Oak Farm Vineyards in Lodi. We arrived 30 minutes early and asked if we could check in early--no problem, we were told. The woman at check-in introduced us to Byron, who kindly walked us through tasting fees and the process. He was fantastic. We then asked if we could enjoy our tasting from a sitting area on the east side of the tasting room. A woman named Keli said that would be fine if we purchased a bottle (with tastings still done at the counter). That seemed reasonable, so we selected a bottle. As we went to find a table number for a charcuterie board, another employee, Tori, stepped in and aggressively declared that the area was for members only. She interrupted Byron--who was simply repeating what we were told upon check-in--and corrected him in a condescending way, right in front of us. It was uncomfortable and unnecessary. At no point were we trying to bend the rules--we were simply following instructions we'd been given. Tori escalated the situation rather than clarifying it, and even when I explained, she dismissed me by throwing her hands up and saying we could "do whatever we wanted." Byron, to his credit, tried to take responsibility, though he did nothing wrong. What made this worse is the timing. My husband and I had just left Jessie's Grove Winery, where we felt like the red carpet was rolled out. We were warmly welcomed, guided to a beautiful seating area, and the pours were brought directly to us. It felt personal, elevated, and effortless--the exact opposite of Oak Farm, where we were left standing at a stale counter and made to feel like an inconvenience. The whole interaction at Oak Farm ruined what should have been a positive experience. We were wine shopping with the intention of joining a club to gift bottles to our clients for Christmas, but Oak Farm missed that opportunity. This is not the first time I've experienced poor customer service here, but it will likely be the last. Unless you're already a member--or enjoy being made to feel less than--I'd avoid Oak Farm. The staff's behavior made me feel unwelcome, and that's the opposite of what a winery should deliver. read more
