    Laminate flooring replacement

Our laminate flooring needed a couple pieces replaced. Oak Foliage flooring was able to take out the damage floor and replace it with new laminate pieces

The "professional" response from business owner after sharing my experience with the public. Work ethic speaks for itself

"Cabinet Refinishing" in his portfolio is my home. Description says it took him 7 days and I was very happy. False and false. Let me tell you... Initially, I reached out and he got back to me and we scheduled a time for him to come out and give me a quote. He gave us a decent price and seemed to be knowledgeable in what he was doing. I wanted to switch out the old hinges which he said would be included in the price, but later told me to buy them because the hardware is expensive... he kept telling me which hinges to order but when they came he told me they wouldn't work so I kept returning and reordering. Things were going ok with the actual refinishing. The paint looked neat and clean. He hung up the cabinet doors and sprayed them, everything was looking good until he put the cabinet doors back up. He got the painting done on time but he took forever to put it all back together. The doors had visible gaps and you can see inside the cabinets. From a far the cabinets didn't look like they were put on straight. There were still small holes in the doors from when he hung them up with hooks to spray and dry them....he kept postponing when he would come back to touch up and paint those holes. I made the mistake of giving him a second project to do in my home while he was still working on the first (I didn't have any major issues with him other than some minor miscommunication when I agreed to hire him for the second project). He was going to paint my entire home (doors, ceilings, closets, walls...) for $6,000. Our electrician came by to add some recess lights for us and had to make a few holes in the ceiling to do it. When he saw the holes, he said he would have to charge us an additional $4,000 to patch them up. Like....what??!? Not to mention he was asking for additional money outside of the deposit to "pay his workers" when I literally saw minimal progress in days. He said we had to pay him the extra sum for him to patch and continue....we said we could have someone else come patch it but we just couldn't come to an agreement on anything. We asked him to show us receipts of what supplies he bought for our home and refund us the remainder of the deposit. He said no. We were trying to cover the cost of the materials, but since he wasn't cooperating at that point we asked him to refund our entire deposit. He again said no. We asked him to leave our home. My father in law started recording the house to have proof of the condition he was leaving the house in. He started to threaten my father in law that he would have him arrested for recording (on our own property.....in our own home.....) he even called 911 started making false accusations to get police to come. And we have all this on video...Great use of emergency services, huh? He left with the cabinet gaps still there....doors still not aligned....the paint job not even CLOSE to being complete. In the end, I was able to get a full refund for my deposit through Yelp guarantee. I ended up hiring someone else and the job was done in no time at all with no issues whatsoever. This whole thing was honestly a setback and inconvenience to me. In the end...it did not take him 7 days and I was not happy....

Henry was great to work with. Very fast. We had old 1950s original hardwoods. He sanded, filled, replaced damaged planks and refinished them. He did a great job. Communication was great and he started the job immediately and finished quickly.

He arrived right on time and got straight to work. When he finished, I noticed a couple of small blemishes and pointed them out. Sam was extremely apologetic, immediately took full responsibility, and returned, no questions asked, to make everything perfect. He even insisted on not accepting payment until I was 100% satisfied, though I ended up paying him anyway because the work was so good. The refinishing quality is excellent, and his pricing is very competitive, truly fantastic value for the money. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to hire Sam again if I ever need bathtub refinishing done. Thanks, Sam!

What really stands out about them is their honesty; they're very clear about what can and cannot be fixed, which I really appreciated. No unrealistic promises, just straightforward communication. The quality of their bathtub reglazing work is great, and they genuinely stand by it. When there was a minor issue with peeling, they came back promptly and repaired it without any pushback. That level of accountability is rare and speaks volumes about their integrity. They're also very nice and attentive. Communication was easy, they were responsive to questions, and you can tell they actually care about doing the job right and making sure you're satisfied. If you're looking specifically for bathtub reglazing and want a company that's professional, honest, and dependable, I highly recommend Simply Reglaze. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Originally, I left a 2-star review because I was pretty unsatisfied with the work they did. They…read moredidn't remove old caulking before applying the new one, and the glaze itself had 3 issues with it: some weird black spots, a section where the glaze dripped down and had hardened, and an exposed part of the tub that wasn't patched correctly. Also, the technician didn't speak English that well, so it was very difficult to communicate with him. The owner reached out to me and wanted to make it right. I wasn't expecting this since usually companies will just take your money and disappear but apparently if you just tell this company about it, they'll try to make it right. I took a few weeks to do a back and forth with them about the work that would be done, and they were very polite and professional throughout the whole thing. The front office was awesome with scheduling and answering questions. The same technician was assigned to the fixes, but I requested a different technician be assigned and they obliged. The new tech did a good job, and I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome. There was some overspray again, but not a huge deal as the black spots and the exposed part of the tub were properly addressed. I found out that one of the issues I originally had (the black spots) were caused by my shower leaking and water dropped onto the glaze as it was drying. Seems like the first tech didn't put a cover over my shower head, but this new tech did. He also spoke English better than the other tech, so no translation app was needed. During this second fix-up visit, the owner himself came on-site to make sure everything was done correctly. Overall, I'm satisfied with the work that was done. It seems even if they do mess up, they'll eventually fix it. If the second tech was the one who did the work first, this would be a 5* review.

One thing we really appreciated was Eder's transparency. Before the installation began, he walked the house with us and highlighted specific areas that needed extra attention. Over the years, the fiberglass had gotten much worse for the wear. However, they just don't MAKE spas like this anymore! It is 12'x6' and can hold about twenty people - 70s-swinger Jacuzzi, anyone?? So, about a year and a half ago, I had it painted with pool paint. However - I should have researched this more before opting to do that as it was a REALLY stupid mistake. In the kind of heat we get in Sunland, this paint didn't even last two years and it got to the point where every time we went in, we'd come out with a blue tint on our skin. Not only unsightly, but downright unhealthy and it made it so we were barely using the spa anymore - a huge loss, as it's one of the main reasons I bought this house. Now, this total redo of our spa was NOT cheap - however, given the quality of the materials and work and how long this work will last, it was totally worth it. If I were to have repainted the spa every two years, within eight years it would have cost me as much as this complete resurface did - and I would've had to keep draining, refilling, painting and letting cure, putting it out of commission for WEEKS at a time each time it was done. Julian came out, measured the exact dimensions of the spa and showed me the color options. Now, I would have preferred something darker than the aqua blue we chose, but given this process Julian has perfected for the fiberglass restoration, there are only so many colors it can be. It would have ended up having to be painted and that would've led to the same problem we already had. I followed Julian's recommendation not to repeat that mistake. The results speak for themselves. Julian and his team did a phenomenal job, kept in touch as to timing and cleaned up after themselves so well you'd never have known they were there -- that is, other than by looking at our brand-new, gorgeous spa that is now ready for countless summers to come! THANK YOU, Julian and Danny, for giving us back our spa!
