I called our regular vet and we had to wait for an appointment. I looked around on Yelp and found Coyne and took her right in the same day. We were not surprised that our kitty received a clean bill of health but indeed surprised to find out that she is rare - most (90%) of Orange Tabby cats are male! The front desk was helpful, the Vet was kind and they were transparent with pricing. If you're looking to adopt, they have pets seeking a new home, currently 3 male border collies.

Dr. Smith did not prescribe Carl the treatment he should have gotten and no mention of referring me to someone else. He only recommended a diet change and a CALCIUM based phosphate binder. Long story short Carl went to a specialist but it was too late and I had to say goodbye to him this last Monday. I'm done with Coyne, not one mention or recommendation for a blood test, their app stopped working for me like a year ago and no mention of them switching to a different app (which they apparently did and that's how I kept up with reminders), still sending me ads for Carl even though they have his records from the specialist where he passed on Monday - had to call and ask them to stop because it's just too painful to keep seeing, Dan's I was told I could start sub fluids as a treatment option....its not about what I COULD do or what I could try. It's about what does my baby NEED? Money isn't an issue for me so ZERO excuse to not remind per parents of blood checks or other vital information. Carl ended up needing several meds and the doctor at Coyne even agreed I could try them. Luckily, I'm never going back there and we are pulling our dog as well. I simply can't trust them and need peace of mind for my pet. Carl was there since 2018 and never one discussion about blood tests (should get checked twice per year). I strongly advise you to leave Coyne and go somewhere more personal and knowledgeable. I feel like Coyne is desensitized to sick pets and that's not good. GRILL your vets and be sure you can trust whomever is reading your babies blood tests. If you have a cat, go get them blood tested twice a year once they're over the age of 6.

The staff has always been great and Dr. Smith is always the Dr. we see. They have appointments that fill up pretty fast but I think they reserve some time for emergencies. How do I know this....because I had to make a really tough decision about my 18 year old cats on a Friday before a holiday weekend. I had originally planned to use from Home to Heaven but was unhappy with the communication. So on Friday morning I called Smith Animal and explained the situation. They said they had an emergency appointment they could fit me into. I arrived early...crying in my car while holding one of my cats. The staff came out to get me. Everyone was so compassionate as I bailed my eyes out in the room. The price was also over less than half the cost of the service I originally planned to use. Fast forward to today, a week later and the office sent me a handwritten condolences card.

I explained when I scheduled appointment on phone technician stated the September 27 was a Thursday, I looked back at my white board and thats what was written on it. I told technician that could be there in 5 minutes. I was told 'NO". I asked to reschedule and Four Seasons Animal Hospital made me aware that there was a $25 dollar no show fee. I once again asked If I could come now, it would only take me 5 minutes. Once aging I was told "No". Since September, 2022 I have been receiving invoices for $25. Now they have started adding fees on to the invoice. Increasing the $25 fee. I have taken 5 of my pets (past or present) to Four Seasons Animal Hospital for over the past 7 years and never been late or missed an appointment. I have been receiving there mailers that my pets annual physical is overdue. Four Seasons Animal Hospital is more concerned about a $25 dollar fee than my pets wellbeing this should be a red flag to anyone who would take there pets there for health services. Four Seasons Animal Hospital never made an attempt to resolve this issue. As an existing client that has never missed or was late a compromise could of been splitting the $25 fee. Instead they just hid behind there invoices and mailers. They probably don't care maybe think customer will continue to take there pets there because of the inconvenience of switching veterinarians. I have since taken my pet to another clinic. This veterinarian clinic is clean, has state of art equipment and are very good with my pets. And when it comes to cost for similar annual vaccines and lab test are more than 30% less expensive. I saved more than 25$ in cost during my first visit to new pet clinic. Lets all be real its not the $25 that is the reason I refuse to go back to Four Seasons Animal Hospital, its the customer service, lack of communication and the cost of services. I will admit I am sacrificing the convince of the proximity to my home but I had to weigh all factors.

Wow!! This place is an absolute gem! So I have experience in the veterinary medicine field as an…read moreassistant and receptionist at different practices in the city, but it was worth it for me to make the drive out to this clinic for the quality of care! My dog had a dental here and I am the most impressed by the care, thoroughness and value that he and I received. Care- this clinic is "fear free" and it shows. On returning to this clinic when he realized where we were my dog's little tail was wagging a mile a minute! He practically leapt into the tech/csr's arms and couldn't wait to go back into the building. He has always been a good patient at the vets- but this is the first vet he was eager to return to. I am under no doubts Dr. Asbury who was the first vet at the practice to see Harvey has become one of his top 5 favorite people!! It feels like he is more at ease after visiting this vet than if he just chilled at home. As someone in the industry this is exceptional 14/10 and is an indicator of an excellent support staff and practice culture. Throughness- during the the dental Dr. Cooper extracted a mind numbing 12 teeth that needed to come out including many multirooted teeth- and most significantly a lower canine. That is a lot of teeth. For people not in the field this is like the vet running marathon and then ending with a perfect routine on the uneven bars. It's a feat. A feat that Dr. Cooper didn't shy away from but accomplished impeccably for the good my dog. I am impressed and grateful. Her skill added to Harvey's quality of life and likely his longevity. Finally value- when it was time to settle up the billI was shocked. For a dental as in-depth and complicated as the one Harvey needed I was prepared to pay 4x the price I was charged!! I am astonished that St. John Animal clinic managed to charge such an affordable price (under $600) for such a quality job. They are truely partners with the pet owning public making exceptional healthcare for animals affordable!! Also for context all this occurred during an historically stressful day nestled in the Covid19 pandemic. So in summary: you couldn't do better for yourself or your pets than to bring them to St. John Animal Clinic.

Brought in our kittens for their first vaccinations, nail clippings, heartworm/flea/tick meds and more. Dr. Zachary Ginkel, DVM was their vet we met with, and he was super pleasant, cordial and professional. He really put his heart into taking care of the kittens and giving me everything I needed for them. Thank you, Dr. Ginkel, for being so great, it is reassuring to know a vet/Doctor is caring about animals and not just doing his job. The vet, Amy Jamieson took the time to explain everything, the process, special diet afterwards, what to look for during recovery, etc. in a patient and caring way. She is very approachable and kind, really caring about your loved one. The staff could tell how concerned I was about my baby and the worry about the cost. They assured me they would make her better, they had done this before, she was going to be fine - with an actual hug and hand squeeze to confirm they got this! Moreover, they were completely transparent with the cost estimates (which ended up being less than what they quoted!). The exceptional customer service is paramount here! They called every day after the surgery to check on my little one (is she eating, is she going to the bathroom, how is she acting?) How wonderful!
