It's a very large building (a industrialize feel) with what feels like multiple rooms (one room connected to main room has a stage) with quite a large open air patio with high top tables and patio furniture with padding and tables. Inside has tables, a HUGE Projection TV on the wall, a long belly-up to the bar, also a private room (The Legacy Room) for private events. It also has a store inside selling the spirits the distillery makes (which by the way is made on site). We loved the laid back feel and wide openness of the building. We were told that once a month they have line dancing/swing dancing and hire two instructors to teach. The music isn't live to continue dancing and practicing what you learn. Apparently the first night had about 60-70 people. They clear the entire floor of tables so there is plenty of room to quick up your heels. However there is a $10 cover charge. Sorry I didn't take a pic of the flyer on the door so you'll have to call and ask what night it happens but I believe it's a Friday night and right now once a month. As it gets popular, we were told maybe twice a month. They offer tables games and cards to play while tasting their Bourbon, Gin, Vodka, Tequila and mixed drinks they sell. Our guys tried a flight for $25 with generous pours. Most they liked, some not so much, but would like to go back and try their Old Fashioned. There is a very long ramp for accessible access or stairs whichever is needed. Ample parking but I'm sure on those nights when line dancing is taught it could get full. The bathrooms are gender neutral as seen in the picture. The guy behind the bar was very nice and shared lots of info on their spirits production. It was nice to have a bowl of saltine crackers but they were stale. I guess it doesn't matter because they are most likely to use when taste testing. We will be back!

When you walk in it's huge and there's plenty of space on the inside and the outside. There are TVs here so you can actually watch a game while you're drinking. The staff was super cool and very very friendly so I appreciate that they do everything in house because it's a distillery but they have some very creative drinks. If you want to go and sit outside, that's a good spot to be in because there's plenty of space out there. They have a patio out there as well that is very easy to chill at. Overall I don't really have any complaints. The menu isn't huge but it's enough to get you over. If you're passing it, I would definitely say it'd be a good time to try.

There was this whole pandemic/lockdown, see, and I kinda didn't travel...) and now they have a tasting room with real food and flights of their extended offerings. Carolina Crème is why I came, but they have an Avena Oat whiskey and an Heirloom Rye vodka that are both very nice!! Also had a BBQ BLT, which was amazing!! The bacon is rubbed with BBQ spices, and rather than fresh tomato, they use julienne sticks of marinated sun dried tomatoes. It hit just right! I did request another leaf of lettuce, since the other ingredients were a bit salty. That did the trick for the half that traveled toward home with me. Only a small part made it all the way home to Durham, however. I kept nibbling at it while driving. So good! I'll need to make this pilgrimage again soon.

We were greeted as soon as we walked in and directed to look around and call out with any questions. We naturally did a tasting and they offer 6 samples for $5. We tried our 6 and then the bartender let us try one other one as well! Relaxed atmosphere providing plenty of moonshine tasting options as well as cocktails. They did not have any food options when we there but plenty of local restaurants to grab a bite after drinking.....see next review for options

They offer 2 options tour and tasting for $15 or just tasting for $10. You get your chose of 6 of the 12/13 they offer. All are naturally flavored. Kendall did our tasting and was very knowledgeable about each product. They have a menu of drinks you can make at home using their product. Orange creme and butterscotch were our favorites today but honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them! Do yourself a favor, follow the signs and go check out Sugar Tits!!
