Love this place! They have an excellent selection of moonshine! They have a tasting you can do that they will guide you through and you can also take a tour of the distillery. Every time I have gone, they have been very welcoming and a fun ambiance. Usually there are other people doing a tasting at the same time and it almost becomes a fun group activity as other people just want to have a good time as well. They also have a little section for merchandise where you can buy, hats, T-shirt's, stickers, etc. I highly recommend trying sugar tit! Their cookies and cream moonshine is a go to! read more

They offer 2 options tour and tasting for $15 or just tasting for $10. You get your chose of 6 of the 12/13 they offer. All are naturally flavored. Kendall did our tasting and was very knowledgeable about each product. They have a menu of drinks you can make at home using their product. Could life be any better when a moonshine distillery is less than 10 minutes from your home? The distillery is small, but offers a nice selection of moonshine flavors as well as a little shop of merchandise. Law enforcement badges decorate the wall, adding a nice touch to this small town business. Both times I've gone in I was greeted immediately and employees struck up conversations with me, making me feel welcome. I appreciated the offers to sample flavors before making a choice. While the different flavors are all delicious, our favorite is the Cookies n Cream Moonshine. It's so delicious, you don't even realize you're drinking moonshine. We now keep it well stocked in our home and it makes a great milkshake! As others have stated, the indoor seating is lacking, which is why it lost a star. I've been wanting to visit Sugar Tit for a while and I finally got the chance (AKA I wasn't too lazy to make the drive) to check it out. The drive from Charlotte isn't too bad. Sugar Tit isn't far from Spartanburg and Greenville so you can make a fun day of it. The distillery is super small and my only complaint would be that it doesn't really have a place for you to sit and chill. You have to do anything at the tasting bar. The service was great and they have a nice selection of merchandise. Each flavor of moonshine was amazing! If you like regular or sweet, even a cream one, they have it all. The flavors were so good that we ended up buying 3 bottles to take home. read more

Such a cool little shop, the building is an old apothecary from 175 years ago! I love how the owners maintained all the wood and structural items possible, it exudes history. The shop workers were so friendly and showed me around the distillery. They offer tours and tastings for $5-10 so definitely check it out! Don't miss saying hello to Whiskey, the golden doodle! Such a sweet therapy dog. I'm not a straight whiskey or moonshine gal so they suggested I make cocktails. I picked up a couple small bottles of moonshine and mixing shrubs. I really enjoyed the pineapple moonshine and lavender shrub combo, I added a sprig of rosemary at home. The grounds around the building are beautiful for relaxing with all the plants, landscaping, and hanging light bulbs. Look at the beautiful antebellum house across the street, apparently its just as old and has really cool history too that the owners can tell you about. read more

Excellent tour of a sweet little distillery in the historic Reidville (which used to be Reidsville and the sight of the first female college!). So much detailed information was given to us from a former physicist turned distiller following his passions. Who knew so much went into a mason jar filled with moonshine? We were also treated to an intriguing history lesson while sampling some of the smoothest and tastiest moonshines I've ever had. My ultimate favorite was the "simply naked" which I purchased to take home at the end! A very warm environment that I intend to visit again! read more

One word sums this cute little distillery.....AMAZING!!! The distiller is a young knowledgeable guy who is proud of what he does and let me tell you..... he knows his stuff! It really is an amazing process to get the moonshine out. The little shop and store front is so adorable and quaint that it just makes you hang out all day and the kindness of the people working here is outstanding! They really make you feel at home and make you feel like you're one of the family. I love their wall with the map and I was happy to be the first to pin my home on the map. I love the flavors and how everything is 100% natural with zero imitation flavors or preservatives! My story starts the same as everyone else's. I saw that billboard and I was way too curious not to go and check it out. I was initially hesitant that the "tour" cost $10, but you really do get your money's worth. A sampling of every single one of their moonshines (which ends up being about 3-4 oz of liquor), along with the history of the area and a quick tour of the facilities. The moonshine is very tasty. Incredibly strong, but with a smooth, warm finish that was not unpleasant. I am not an expert (by any means), but it was fun to try and taste the subtle differences between all of the flavors. Everyone was incredibly nice, super helpful, and they even let me sign their big map wall! As a lover of doggos, meeting Whiskey was the highlight of the afternoon! I had a flight to catch, so I couldn't stay long, but I made sure to buy a few of the 3oz bottles for my plane ride. Hope to come back soon. read more

Great little (tiny) distillery. Very nice selection of moonshine. The shop is a bit awkward as you can't really sit down and enjoy your drink other than the counter where you sample and pay. Our neighbor told us about this place and gave us a taste of the pineapple moonshine they had purchased. We made the trek to go out there...The owner, and the lady who runs the shop for him, are very kind and knowledgeable. Tours are available but be aware that they're not free. Taking the tour is one price and if you want to sample the moonshine it's an added expense. The price was a flat fee for a handful of samples. There are so many to choose from. What sort of stopped me from purchasing anything was the fact that the owner is so stingy and penny-pinching that he charges you to taste it. How do I know what I want to get if I can't taste it? Another couple was there at the same time we were and they said the exact same thing. We talked outside about what a disservice it is that this business owner charges. It's the cost of doing business. This was just a huge turnoff for me. Maybe the owner would consider refunding the tasting fee with the purchase of a bottle or two?!? What do you think! read more

I was a bit skeptical about trying moonshine from an actual distillery because I typically go for the shine they don't sell in stores however I was certainly not disappointed. On my first visit I stopped in briefly and immediately wanted to try the flavors. I ended up opting for a big jar of apple pie(yum!) and a personal bottle of blueberry. The kind lady at the counter recommended I tried the blueberry shine with lemonade, I took it home and did just that and boy was she right! It was delicious !! When I returned to the area the following week I had to go back! This time a coworker and I went and did the tasting so we were able to try everything! I would definitely recommend stopping in for a tasting if in the area. When I went it was $5 for a tasting, $10 for a tasting and tour. Saw the billboard with the unique name, figured I would check it out on my way home from vacation, was a few different roads off the interstate but not too far, nice little place with all different types of moonshine and plenty of souvenirs with their name on it . Staff is friendly and will answer any questions. I picked up a few things there afterwards. The 80 proof Apple Pie moonshine is really good. The 120 proof plain moonshine is really strong. It's definitely a nice place to try out and they are building a bigger building right next door so eventually there will be more to see once it's done read more

My husband took me to Sugar Tits today for my birthday. I loved it. We left with a few gifts ... blueberry moonshine, wine glass, flask and a ladies tank top. Mary was wonderful. I'm a bit upset that my XL tank top is too tight. Mary stated that the shirts are true to size but maybe cuz I'm a bit busty, that's the reason for the tightness. Bob and Kat have a wonderful place here, and they are wonderful people. They make fantastic moonshine, (they have won awards!), and our tour was full of great information, recipes, and even a little history. After sampling the various moonshines they make and hand bottle here, we tried an Arnold Palmer and blueberry moonshine cocktail! The therapy dog, Whiskey, is also a cutie, and his moonshine is so smooth! I purchased some butterscotch moonshine to take home, as Kat mentioned that it goes great in coffee, and I can't wait to try it out!
