My wife and I ordered two vanilla lattes, the chicken and waffles, and a sausage breakfast burrito. Everything was cooked perfectly and flavorful, absolutely zero notes. The coffee is fantastic, the breakfast was incredible, and the staff was friendly and efficient, keeping the service moving quickly even when they were busy. We ended up coming back the next two days as well. We loved it so much that we came back one evening to try their pizza, and it didn't disappoint either. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. Excellent food, great coffee, and wonderful service!

Ok coffee, decent folks, but overall really disappointing. Issues I saw:…read more The price! We had accumulated a few gift cards over time so we decided to use them to stop by. We bought 2 coffees (a 12 oz drip coffee with half and half and a 16 oz iced latte). We also got 2 bagel breakfast sandwiches. Our total was $39!!!!! Even my tiny drip coffee cost significantly more than a Starbucks equivalent! The Quality I truly hate to say it because I want local businesses to be successful, but everything was low quality. My drip coffee was lukewarm when I got it, my wife said she prefers iced coffee from del taco compared to the one she had here. But the really disappointing thing was the sandwiches. First, they came out heaped with lettuce (on a breakfast sandwich???) I've never seen that before, and we didn't ask for it. After we picked the lettuce off of the sandwiches they were very small (especially for the price!!) I managed to eat about 2 bites of mine before I couldn't stomach it anymore. It was just bad. The sausage patty tasted freezer burned and was extremely dry and the egg white was undercooked. I love an over easy egg, but this was not that. This egg was not cooked enough to be served. My wife made it about 1 bite further than I did, then she had to call it quits. All in all, we paid $40 to throw away our sandwiches and drink aggressively mediocre coffee. What really sucks is that I want to support local businesses! I would love to keep going to a small local shop. But when they rob us blind and serve food like that, I can't justify it.

Unfortunately, our first visit to Crestline as a family of seven started on a disappointing note…read more While walking through town, we saw the sign for this coffee shop and decided to stop in. There was only one customer ahead of us, so we took a few moments to look over the menu while some of my family members grabbed bottled drinks from the refrigerator. When I asked the older woman working behind the counter if they had any iced coffee beverages, she simply pointed at the menu in what came across as an irritated manner. I then ordered an iced macchiato. After she prepared the drink, she told me the total was $8. I politely mentioned that the menu listed it as $7.50. Instead of explaining the difference, she pointed back at the sign and gestured with her hand as if to hurry me up and pay. I was honestly caught off guard by how unfriendly and rushed the interaction felt. I ended up declining the drink because the customer service made me feel so unwelcome. As a family, we didn't feel greeted or appreciated as customers. We were looking forward to supporting a local small business, and with a group our size, we likely would have spent around $40 or more. Sadly, because of the experience, we chose to leave instead. We visit Crestline and plan to return in the future, but unfortunately we won't be returning to this coffee shop. Great customer service can make all the difference, and sadly, that wasn't our experience here.

The top and bottom layers were ginger-doodle with gingerbread frosting and the middle layer was chocolate with espresso frosting. The flavors were amazing and the cake fit our rustic Christmasy theme perfectly. We had a very small and intimate wedding in December 2024 to which Jerry and the Gingerbread House were amazing to work with and gave the best service. We also had some of their goodies from the shop and those were also incredible. Thank you, Jerry! We can't wait to come back for some more sweets.

We had waited in line outdoors for most of the time. It was quite cold and windy during the wait. One place I wish they had outdoor heaters . The house is decorated on the outside just like you would imagine a gingerbread house would be, cute, adorable and delicious looking. Once you walk into the house you will find some displays of familiar candies. Maybe something you may want to get the next time you are at your convenience or grocery store. Save room for the some of the beautiful and delightful dessert that are displayed behind the acrylic shield. And don't forget something warm to drink! The drink orders once made are handed out at the window on the side of the building. We ordered quite a bit, just wanting to try everything that looked and sounded delicious. My girls enjoyed the cinnamon rolls while the pretzel, and molasses cookie were my favorite. My girls agreed with me on the cookie as well. The grandkids enjoyed their cake pop. For hot drinks, we ordered hot chocolate and hot chai. For me, it was worth the wait. I would order more molasses cookie and an extra pretzel! The customer service was friendly despite the line of people that was coming through. Great job staff! I plan to stop by this house again the next time we come to Santa's Village.

We ordered: +a slice of banana bread - this was wet and soggy, so not sure how this is even available for sale +a slice of carrot cake - this was extremely dense and decadent, and good for any carrot cake lover +an oatmeal cookie - large and had a nice crisp/chewy texture +a chive scone - super dried out and had absolutely no flavor +a hibiscus drink - super weird beverage; not sure if it was mixed with something, but it was not enjoyable +and, a milk tea - this milk tea was not prepared well; contained some pearls I was curious about their sandwiches and their pizzas, but the latter is only sold as a whole, and not by the slice. All in all, we felt that the items were misses; not worth waiting it out unless you are spending a few days in the area or are a local. This small town is adorable and one thing that absolutely blew me away was The Sugar Chalet and the extremely friendly gentleman working the front desk last Friday when we stopped in. This small sweet shop had the best looking donuts I've seen in ages and I couldn't help but order some for breakfast. I picked up a few different types from a chocolate one with cookie dough on it, an oreo style donut, and two for my wife. On top of the donuts, I grabbed a salted chocolate chip cookie as well. As someone who's enjoyed and loved donuts from Los Angeles to Amsterdam and Paris to Boston, I can safely say The Sugar Chalet might just be my favourite donut shop in the entire world. These donuts were the absolute perfect consistency in almost every way. The dough was so light and fluffy while the toppings were absolutely delicious. Overall, The Sugar Chalet is a special place. 5 stars for the gentleman working, 5 stars for the donuts and cookie, and 5 stars for every other thing about this place. I will 100% be back in the future and I already can't wait.
