The night before he was scheduled to come for estimate, he called and said he forgot he had another appointment and couldn't make it. STRIKE ONE. Given my busy schedule, (and the fact that I had already rearranged things and canceled meetings for this appointment time) I asked if he could simply provide an estimate for my front door (being the priority) without me being present. He was able to pull photos of my home online and immediately provided a quote, which seemed a little high, but that's fine. I was hoping to see the quality of their work and professionalism with this project in order to assess whether to go with them for all of my window replacement and other doors. I agreed to the price, and asked when they would be able to install. He defiantly replied that it would be whenever they could squeeze my small job in if they had another job in the area that finished up early. What? STRIKE TWO. I reiterated that, given my schedule, I would not be immediately available at their last minute whim and would need to schedule an actual date and time for install, weather permitting of course. He very rudely replied that maybe if I had other work to schedule-like at least 4 window replacements- then they would be able to schedule an install. Otherwise, there is no way ANY contractor would schedule an appointment and GOOD LUCK trying to find one who would. STRIKE THREE. Perhaps if you were able to professionally handle keeping the estimate appointment and installing the door, you would have had business on all window and door replacement in my house. Very rude and unprofessional.
