Stayed here with a group of friends! House looks slightly small from the outside, but it is HUGE!…read more There was about 15 bedrooms, most with their own bathrooms. Large outdoor pool, lazy river around the pool, life sized games on the grounds, hammocks out front, a theatre, laundry room, large kitchen for cooking etc. A friend and myself couldn't figure out how to get the remote to work for the theatre. If your bedroom is near the kitchen, and there's a large group visiting, be aware that all of the kitchen noise travels into those bedrooms Each bedroom has a gaming theme, which was fun to sleep in and play in. The kitchen table won't hold 45 people but there are other long tables outside by the pool and plenty of chairs

Our family rented Great Escapes Parkside for a large family vacation, and unfortunately, the…read moreproperty fell well short of expectations for a rental that cost approximately $12,000. While the home has impressive size and amenities on paper, the overall condition, cleanliness, and maintenance issues significantly detracted from our experience. The disappointment started before we even entered the home. As you pull up, you're greeted by an overflowing dumpster and landscaping that appears neglected. For a property marketed as a premium vacation destination, the first impression was underwhelming. Once inside, it became clear that the property was not being maintained at the level we expected. Cleanliness was one of our biggest concerns. There was a dead mouse floating in the pool upon arrival, an infestation of lovebugs in the Xbox/game room and other areas of the house, and the property generally appeared to be in need of a deep cleaning. We also found a used Band-Aid inside one of the blankets in the "Operation-themed" room, which immediately raised concerns about housekeeping standards. Many of the sheets were old, heavily pilled, and worn. A red flag for us was being asked not to strip the beds because the linens were supposedly "bag washed." Unfortunately, the overall condition of the bedding did not inspire confidence in the property's cleaning standards. The laundry facilities were also disappointing. The washing machines had a strong unpleasant odor, only one dryer was operational, and drying cycles took an exceptionally long time. Many of the advertised amenities were either unusable or poorly maintained. Most of the games in the Xbox room did not work. The outdoor recreation equipment was not ready for use, with many balls completely deflated and unusable. Those that were salvageable required a hand pump that we had to locate ourselves. Several outdoor games were covered in wasp nests, making them unsafe or impractical to use. Considering the additional amenities fee charged with the rental, this level of neglect was particularly frustrating. The pool itself was a huge hit with our group, but the surrounding area showed significant wear. The pool deck was peeling, sticky, and appeared to be in need of resurfacing. Both the pool area and many of the outdoor amenities would benefit greatly from maintenance and updating. The pool (and the rest of the property) are misrepresented on the website. Several of the mattresses throughout the home were worn out and noticeably sunken in the middle. This created comfort issues for many of the adults in our group and made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. One thing prospective renters should know is that despite the size of the house, there is no true central indoor gathering space where a large group can comfortably congregate. Most of our time together was spent in the kitchen or outside by the pool. Additionally, despite the request to remove shoes indoors, the floors were dirty enough that many of us felt more comfortable keeping them on. To be fair, there were some positives. The property manager was kind, responsive, and genuinely tried to accommodate our concerns. She even arranged for pizzas to be delivered as a gesture of goodwill. While appreciated, that gesture barely addressed the extent of the issues we experienced during a stay that cost (redundancy alert) ~$12,000. The house is spacious, there was plenty of hot water for our large group, the air conditioning worked very well, and the pool was enjoyed by everyone. Overall, the property has tremendous potential because of its size, layout, and amenities, but it is currently in need of substantial cleaning, maintenance, and updating. At its current condition, we do not believe the experience justified the price we paid. Future guests should carefully consider recent reviews and ask detailed questions about the property's upkeep before booking. I only wish I had taken more photos, as many of the existing reviews do not accurately reflect the current state of the property.

It was a 4 night family reunion and everyone in our group ages 6 months to 93 had an unforgettable time. The photos don't do it justice--It's even nicer in person! We loved the karaoke. We totally enjoyed the incredible pool...The sports courts and video game machines were played daily and laser tag was a trip! I love the attention to thematic detail but I especially loved the house's massage room with saunas and massage chairs !

The property manager did show up when I called about the A/C, but his response was that it was really hot outside and he closed all the blinds to see if it would help. If I was staying more than 1 night, I would not have been able to deal with it. They asked for $500 security deposit and stating on the email that if I paid by Zelle, I could avoid a 3.88% fee and check out later. They then would not honor the late check out, until I complained about the A/C. I still haven't received my deposit back; they told me to request by Zelle and now have told me to request it from another email address. The phone number on all the emails they sent me is not working and I had to search for another number. After talking to them about requesting a refund from another email, they hung up on me and refuse to answer the phone when I call back.

It's beautiful and well maintained, the staff are so very friendly and helpful. The pool was so nice, as were the screened in patios and balconies, and the plush robes were definitely appreciated. The condo was impeccably clean and elegant, it felt like being at home. One thing that I wish I'd known when booking: the condos are not on the Club grounds, they are down the road about half a mile. I didn't rent a car because on the website it looked as though the condos were part of the entire resort. Once I got there I realized it was separate and there are no options for food, etc or getting to the Club other than driving. My own fault for not renting a car, but I wanted to make sure others were aware. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area again, think I would make sure to text a car!

We arrived to the quiet property, adjacent the gorgeous Bella Collina Country Club. Bella has long been one of our favorite destinations locally for golf and spa and especially our day dates, so when we heard a new option was available to stay on property we were very excited. We brought our kids along on the adventure. Our accommodations were luxurious and every detail was thoughtfully our together. We had a very roomy and comfortable condo unit, television in every room with cable and Apple TV access, as well as 3 full bathrooms. It was very convenient for a larger family or group getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans for cooking and we used them all weekend. I loved that each unit had a view of the lake and pool area. We went down on the first night and enjoyed the pool. We had no idea we would have a front row seat to the Disney fireworks, directly from our pool view. It was awesome. The kids enjoyed the nature. The property sits on a private lake and we got up early to watch the sunrise from our balcony each morning. It was spectacular. The facilities also included a gorgeous workout and fitness center. We were also very close to restaurants and shops, as well as close to Disney properties and theme parks. My husband and son folded and I enjoyed the spa. We ate at the restaurant at Bella Collina called the 19th Hole and it was delicious! The chef has amazing menu items for every palette. Everything was so fresh and the ambiance in the restaurant was so relaxed and comfortable. We literally felt like we were whisked away, out of Florida throughout our 2 day staycation. We highly recommend this property for family getaways, guys golf getaways, girls' weekend of pampering, couple's weekend or even family reunions or to provide a nice place to stay for parties and event guests at Bella Collina. We attend the New Year's eve celebrations at Bella annually, and now we are excited to be able to book a room and make it a night after the festivities end. We love it and will definitely be back!
