I loved the how to train your Dragon suite…read more I underestimated how much I would love this room. I watched videos and saw pictures of what it looked like, but I don't feel like it really does it justice. Part of me wishes that we sprung for the park view, but the price was about double then the standard how to train your Dragon suite, so I couldn't justify paying for that. However, what was surprising was the weekend we went how to train your Dragon suite was just slightly more than a standard room with Park views. I absolutely believe if you're traveling with young children. It is worth giving up that park view to have this suite. Supposedly there are only 14 in the entire hotel which surprise me, so you do want to book it early because they sell out. What made this room so special to me is the fact that the kids had their own room that were fully how to train your Dragon themed. We watched the movie right before going so they would get excited again. The beds are beautiful and they enjoyed the mural behind them. If you're worried about your kids having a TV in their room, it turns out that there is one remote control for all three TVs so I just took the remote control with me. There's also a sitting room which was great because then my husband could watch the soccer matches while both myself and the kids slept and then a bedroom for the parents. You get a separate bathroom as well so it feels like a lot of space. There are tablets in every single room where you can control the lights order food and learn more about the hotel. The hotel itself is stunning. I'm surprised by the lack of food options though, we went to bar Helios one night and it was amazing. They do have a kids menu that they don't advertise online. The major perk of this hotel is the entrance to the park. They opened line to get in at 8 AM which was an hour before early entry. Honestly, I think we could've gotten a little later because then you were stuck waiting in the sun outside for early entry. If you are trying to rope drop Ministry of magic this is definitely the hotel for you. You are right next to the ministry of magic land. Later in the day when my son came back for a nap and we wanted to go see the mystery magic show. It took us five minutes from leaving our room to getting to Ministry of magic. It's that fast. Especially because later in the day there is absolutely no one going through the security. The pool is OK. I do prefer Disney pools with their splash pads, but this one was nice enough and they do have people that come and take your order. The food was much better than any Disney resort we've stayed at. We were able to check in at noon and surprisingly our room was ready. I appreciate that parking is all parking garage so your car stays cool and also it is right next to the hotel so you don't have to walk far to bring in your luggage. Overall, we loved our stay here and if we ever come back to epic universe, I would stay here again.

Food at the market is pricey- I went to get a sandwich- it was expiring- the ingredients on it looked bad - for $15 I asked if they had anything fresh- the girl said they were waiting on a truck. She is happy to reply to questions and accommodate however she can. Since it's a newly renovated townhouse everything is new, which is nice. Pots and pans aren't scratched up. The townhouse itself is modern and nice, but not great for very small children. The owner welcomes kids and even has a high chair and plastic dish ware but the stairs are steep and uncarpeted(this wasn't false advertising, just wanted to let people know), dangerous for little legs. It would be great with older kids for sure! My review reflects the overall experience of staying at the place. The surrounding area is a little trashy. The Regal Oaks isn't really regal. The neighbors spend their afternoons fixing cars and smoking cigarettes on their stoops. They are perfectly nice but i hate cigarettes. When you walk around you notice everyone has reinforced door locks(I felt safe until i noticed that even though i have no reason to think these extra locks were needed ). And there is trash strewn around from the raccoons at night, one of which made it to the pool so the water slide was closed down to be cleaned and shocked. The pool water is a little murky looking and both my son and I developed a slight rash while we were there that disappeared after a week so it wasn't serious. We aren't sure if it was the pool or a sensitivity to detergent. The great perk is that it's really close to Disney and you can walk to "Old Town", which is also trashy but fun. There is a decent pizza place there too! If you aren't on air bnb and want to stay here, you can go directly through Regal Oaks and find different rentals there through them and don't have to worry about the air bnb process. It's perfect for older families(my father in law loved it) or young adults who want to be near Disney, a resort and in walking distance to some bars.

The resort is very clean with lots of great amenities. Every resort has little differences that are interesting. This one had a market near check in which was overpriced, but very convenient. They also had multiple luggage carts which not all of the resorts have. There is a beautiful pool area with hot tub and a small kids pool. There is also a volleyball net and a life size chess board located in the pool area. There is also a basketball court, tennis court, movie theater, activity center and game room. There are daily activities planned. Some are free, some have an additional cost. We had a 3 bedroom with full kitchen, multiple bathrooms and washing machine inside the room. The outside patio was closed in and had an overhead fan which was a nice touch. Overall the staff were friendly. However, there were a few that seemed like you were bothering them if you asked for something or asked questions. Checkout was very easy. I would stay here again if the option was available.

The only issue I have was the shower head had absolutely no water pressure in the shower, but the shower itself was so beautiful. The lagoon is stunning and the reason why we booked this hotel. I love how our room overlooked it (if you get that option). They have free kayaking and Stand up paddle boarding as well and if you walk to the end where those boars are you can see boats for rent and also a food hall at the end of the walk way. Half the lagoon is for swimming the other half is for boating. I just learned my mom has stage 4 cancer and I took her here right before we found out. I will cherish this place forever as we had such an amazing time before all hell broke out. Once she gets better I will be taking her back here to celebrate. Overall this place was a dream.

This room has everything a girl could ask for; a spacious king bedroom, a little area to sit down and write stuff a gorgeous TV, a small fridge and a coffee maker, and a clean and spacious bathroom, including hand wash and body lotion with the hotel, Landy branding. I spoke to Esther at the bar this evening as well, and she was super kind and very nice. She did tell me, though the discount only worked for food at the boutique property and not drinks; which is honestly OK because her service was outstanding. I used to live in the area and I would always drive past this hotel and thankfully I got to market off my bucket list. I definitely love the area that it's in and how quaint and stylish the hotel is if you haven't been here, I will definitely recommend it. It is near the city express by Marriott as well; it's super close to any of the restaurants and bars off of I-drive along with anything in the Universal city walk area. 10 out of 10 I will definitely be back.

I've stayed here the last few time I've gone to Florida.

The complex was lovely, clean, and pretty quiet. We had nice strolls on the great walkway through the swampland to the resort. We saw turtles, ducks, ibis, and even a tiny alligator. While our house rental had a small "spool," we thoroughly enjoyed the community pool and hottubs. The bar and grille were wonderful, too. Not to mention, the other fun amenities available that were the arcade, basketball court, tennis court, volleyball court, gym, and theatre. Disney World was also an easy going 25 minute car ride away. Great resort community, and we had a nice host for our house rental.
