My family and I were invited for a birthday party this weekend and we had a great time. I was very impressed at the attention to detail that was put into this house. The dedication to bring to life every individual room was amazing. Yes, some of the decorations were worn but it's expected with time. The owners showed up right away when called to fix anything that was broken, not working right or anything we needed. They even delivered ice cream for the party. Sweet Escape is definitely a sweet surprise for those who have never been before! We were there from May 27th until June 1st and had an absolutely wonderful time as a family ranging in age from almost 15 months old to 83 years old spanning four generations. There really is something here for everyone to do. We would definitely recommend this place to other family and friends. read more

This place could have been great if it was kept up with. Before we even arrived the threatening emails began...don't do this or you will get charged do this or you will get charged! The threats continued on signage all throughout the property taking away from the entire experience. TAKE THEM DOWN! It was hard to be comfortable thinking we were going to get changed if we put trash in the trash can...yes that's right you are not allowed to put trash in the trash can that is right next to the house. You must walk all the way up to the corner of the property and use the dumpster only! Who wants to do that when they are on vacation? Walking into the home it immediately smelled of pets. They advertised 6 stars luxury rental. This is by NO means a luxury rental. I have attached photos of just SOME of the poor quality we experienced throughout our stay. Furniture is all nicked up...plus most of it is cheap pressboard not high quality furniture as a luxury rental would have. PLEATHER hanging off the chair, drain plugs not installed, jets in Eye Candy bathtub did not work, every wall needed paint touched up, baseboards were disgusting, candy in shadow boxes on display had started to mold...I could go on and on. The pool was luxury all the way...until we found a red toenail! Everything was labeled example "6 spoons", "10 red plates" however that quantity was not accurate immediately upon check in...again scared we would be charged. There was an inventory list in every room of items that were to be in said room " 4 nerf vests & balls" however items were not present! We did reach out to Harley (our check in agent) and report things were broken as we were instructed to do (so we didn't get charged) and that we were having a good time but we were disappointed in the luxury factor...it was not present at all. Beds were terrible, we have better linens in our own homes etc. I think she panicked because I soon after received a text from Andrew. He did not understand where I was coming from at all. He explained that homes in Reunion Resort get repainted/touched up 2-3 times per year and Sweet Escapes gets touched up 12-15 times per year. I do not care if you paint 3x's more than a normal rental if you are advertising "luxury rental" and you are not delivering a luxury product you need to paint 15-30 times per year or until you reach that standard. Or maybe they just need to advertise 3 star and people can lower their expectations. With and $800+ cleaning fee this home should sparkle and it did NOT!!! I truly believe this was once upon a time a wonderful place to stay. I think Andrew does not know how to receive constructive criticism because this is his "baby" and argues with everyone instead of listening to them and fixing the issues. NOT WORTH THE MONEY! One more thing...check out the inappropriate photos in the "Eye Candy" bathroom...attached to the Carnival Suite. I'm not a prude but they made me sick in a supposed to be fun lighthearted Candy house! read more

I attempted to reserve the house for both my sons birthday on Oct 17th and 23rd! The dates on the site that were closest and showing available were Oct 27th-29th. I got all the way to the payment screen and and found a number to reach out. I called and spoke with a woman who in alerted me that those dates were actually not available and there would be maintenance on the pool those days. She helped me find available dates to book and I did so leaving a deposit and signing the the rental agreement. Shortly after I received an email from the Andrew Greenstein (attached ) with a very open ended condescending tone. Stating he would not be renting to me under any circumstance with no further explanation. I assumed there was a miscommunication on either end so my husband reached out and booked as we all. He then sent a very egregious , discriminatory email (attached)after reaching out to him on his Facebook business page. It was explained in great detail that this trip was for our children's birthday and we would have family members traveling to celebrate with their children. He referred to our family as "associates " and threatened to leave us stranded in Florida with no rental. We have done these types of trips several times with no incident. This is by far the worst experience we've had without stepping foot on the property. Andrew lacks customer care , diversity and plain ole couth when dealing with potential customers. He is rude , judgmental and abrasive without reason. He also decided to issue a refund instead of cancelling the transaction so we would have to wait 3-5 business days for the deposit to be returned (twice). BUYER BEWARE ‼‼‼‼‼ read more

Family Reunion 2 weeks ago. 17 of us from all over the country from ages 5 months to 67. The kids and Grand kids were blown away. Something for everyone. We used every single room. Before dinner (catered by Maurice) we had dance parties and kaeroke. After dinner movies for the kids then later movies for adults. They all loved the pools and outdoor activities. We had basketball tournaments, races in the more than ample lawns, golf contests...you name it...we did it all. Kids loved the downstairs and the video games. Plenty of room to play and safe. I visited the sweet escape in June 2016. I was very disappointed in our experience. When we arrived the pool was muggy. By the next day it looked like lake water. You couldn't even see the stairs in the shallow end. We called but it was the next day before the pool service arrived. We had to call again the next day and they shocked it again. Our last day there we were finally able to swim. We had to go somewhere else and pay to swim. As far as recreation, the putt putt only had two white balls and four clubs so we couldn't play, The fire pit had only large pieces of wood that didn't fit into the pit. We had to call maintenance to fix one of the toilets. We were told the house is 25 minutes from Disney World, it took one house each way. We also thought the guest house was closer to the main house. There are only six bathrooms when the website leads you to believe there are eight. Also the Ice Cream Social, The disco room, The Arcade, and Karaoke are all one room. The website is deceiving regarding this. C Check out all the details before booking. This is a great idea if it was maintained properly. read more

I was very disappointed in our experience. The downstairs carpet was dirty and smelly. When we relocated the balls from the ball pit room we found garbage and more stains. The cots were extremely uncomfortable with many broken springs. The spare pillows were also smelly and stained. One couch was so worn, the top layer of faux leather was worn to the next layer of fabric and some guests refused to sit on it. We found some spiders and their webs inside the bedrooms. The artwork seemed fun when looking at the website pictures, but in person felt very overwhelming and amateur. I do not recommend. read more

The Sweet Escape a great place to take your family and children. A problem I had was the checker/chess board was off the black and white tiles where miss placed, and the game was unplayable. I was disappointed to find out that there was 2 separate houses and that it was a bit of a walk to get to the other house, by which the website does not state there being 2. Another problem I had was the candy machine crane was broken it costed 50 cent and didn't even work. Why not call to get it fix you may ask?! Because it cost 125$ to call someone to come to the he house to fix thing if I am correct, which I find to be highly over price. Other than those issues the Sweet Escape was amazing. The place keeps you up all night with the fun arcade games, my time here was eventful and I hope to come back again. read more

Wow, what can I say? Andrew was amazing when we reached out to him about a possible home away from home experience. Each room of the house is so amazing and detailed and there are PLENTY of things to do, inside and out. The scavenger hunt is so much fun - and with personalities like my family, you know they had to count every single ball in that crazy Lollipop room just for one of the answers!!! My recommendation is to rent these homes out without plans to go to the parks, because you will not want to leave. There is so much to do and so much detail packed in every nook and cranny. Andrew contacted us many times throughout our stay to make sure we were comfortable. There were a couple things that did not work properly (to no fault of the owners), which Andrew was right on top of to address and Harley, was just amazing as well. Andrew even made special accommodations with checkout for us since our daughter is virtual schooling and we needed to leave a little later. He also invited us to the Great Escape Parkside to use the outdoor amenities, and I shouldn't have taken the kids. They are already planning their next birthday parties! We did not bring our dogs with us this time, and when I mentioned that to Andrew, he said bring them next time! So, a pet lover too!! Yes, the price is steep (but really not bad if you have a couple families join you which...this place has the space for it!! But once you are in the house you can see why it the cost is there. Andrew has poured his heart and soul into each of these houses, from the carpets to the ceiling fan blades. And let me just mention how comfortable the Carnival Bedroom bed is. WOWWWWW. I just can not wait to experience the Parkside/Lakeside or even Ever After, when the time comes. Thank you so much for such an amazing stay. Keep up the amazing work! read more

Me and my family stayed at the Sweet Escape House for 6 days. Honestly I'd recommend staying a little longer just so you can enjoy the entire house. Although the website is a little misleading because it had us thinking we were al loving to be together in one house. But besides that the house is amazing. The pool was loads of fun but I recommend all little kids wear their life jackets considering the pools 8+ft. We didn't get to utilize the outdoor movie theater but I'm sure it would be cool. I liked how the house wasn't too close and wasn't too far from Disney. Starting with the guest house it was good. There's couch beds all around the house. We slept about 2-4 people in each room. I like that all the bathrooms were full bathrooms and not half bathrooms. I would complain about the privacy of the house as some of our family members were complying about other people coming to our gate (people we didn't know) But we had a blast!! The arcade is where I spent most of my time. The guest house was pretty nice but did seem a little smaller than the main house (that was expected I guess). Me and my family are trying to plan vacations at the other escape houses but we'll see if those can compare to this one!!! read more

It is a unique property that is for sure, but it is definitely NOT 6 star... Maybe 3.5 - 4 star,for the unique experience. Definitely also had some routine general maintenance issues throughout the homes. We also had NOT paid attention to the fact that it is not one house but TWO SEPERATE HOMES on the same property which makes up the 10 bedrooms. I expected the property to be in pristine condition and excellent working order so I was surprised and a bit let down with some issues. Music equipment was missing some parts and not working right, clearly past tenants had done some damage that needed to be attended, needed some general maintenance, showers not flowing right, needed some touch up paint, etc.. Kids had an awesome time and it was a memorable trip... (They don't notice what the adults do.) Probably they have had some bad tenants with all the signs around accounting for each piece of silverware, all the glasses, dishes, and almost everything else in the house. This created a feeling of distrust around the experience. I travel a lot and do not know of any locations that would make their good customers even need to be concerned with counting silverware and dishes. (Besides I think that is why they have a security deposit isn't it.) Some of the props were broken/damaged when we arrived and with the way things were posted about accounting for everything, it makes you worry that they would charge you for things that were clearly already damaged before you arrived. It was just not the carefree positive "feeling" I had expected to experience. But like I said, kids loved it and that was our priority for the trip. The place looks so good in the photos and videos, that you just don't expect some of the lack of attention to some areas in and around the property. BUT AGAIN, the KIDS are still taking about what a great time they had so overall it was a positive experience for the kids. read more
