It was easy to make the reservation online, and in the comment section my husband put that it was for our wedding, and sure enough Brenton gave him congrats when he walked in. I walked in to the quirky but friendly decorated shop and was asked if I had an appointment. I said I didn't and was hoping to get a haircut. My usual barber, Carlos was busy at work with another customer but the young lady said, "I can take you now". It's somewhat of a mystery to me how barbers and beauticians manage to discern what their customers want but she listened to my really inadequate directions...short but leave a little on top...etc. I walked away happy and now I'm planning my next visit which will include a straight razor shave by Carlos. We will probably not go back. Cut wasn't bad just not at all what asked for. Was a cut that should have been done primarily with scissors barber immediately went in with clippers. Nice, affordable and not a bad cut just not even close to what asked for. In the end we said looked good because the cut and hair was already done no going back. Hair grows is what it is. Likely great for shorter less flow style cuts.

We offered him lunch, a drive, an adventure .... whatever he wanted to do to celebrate. At first, he said he didn't want to do anything. Then his face lit up. He really wanted a shave & a haircut. Hubby called to see if they could fit him in. They said sure. Come on over. We did. I want to give a shout out to the man who shaved & cut Dad's hair. I will add his name soon. This kind barber had tattoos & lips tattooed on him. This kind man was so gracious & talented. He listened to Dad & the way they interacted was simply sweet. Dad's eyebrows were also trimmed as well as a few nose hairs. Dad's transformation is getting glowing reviews on my FB page. I want you to see the transformation as well.
