He's receptive to feedback and offers great suggestions on how to style my hair. He is amazing at fades; I have received so many compliments every time I get a cut from him. He is truly a perfectionist and makes sure you are satisfied at the end of every session. I've referred him to a few friends and they have come out with amazing haircuts and fades as well. Every haircut I get from Clayton feels like a therapy session. I love talking to this guy and just getting life advice from him. The vibes at this place are great. I have to give a shout out to the Ventura Barber Co. Joey the owner has a great bunch of professional barbers @ your service . What I especially like about Ventura Barber Co. Is the atmosphere of the place. When you walk in for your appointment every one who's there will take a moment to acknowledge you, to just say hi! Personally, that means a lot to me. Ventura Barber Co. Is proud of giving good customer care and it shows. My favorite is a shave by either Joey or Mak. If either one of these guys give you a shave...I swear, your face will soon be as smooth as a baby's butt! I've always been amazed to learn that some guys have never experienced a shave by a barber? Come on guys.... Be good to yourself and have one of the Ventura Barber Co.'s professional barbers shave you. You sit in the chair, warm shaving cream is applied, then a warm towel, over your face, till your facial hairs are nice and soft. Then your barber, wipes your face of the shaving cream---and does the same procedure a second time! Can you fall asleep in the chair after all of this ? Happened to me! HA! I needed a haircut today, my daughters baptism is this weekend. Noticed that the barbershop took walk-ins from an earlier visit in the area. So after work decided to check it out. Was greeted right away and got lucky that a chair was open right when I walked in, every other chair was occupied. Junior took care of me today. Asked what I wanted, I gave him kind of a vague answer because I really didn't know what I wanted. So I left it up to him. He gave me a great cut! I'm completely happy with his work and how the rest of the shop made me feel like I have been going there for years. I think I found where I will be getting my cuts from now on. I'm real picky about my hair. My struggle is over finding a barber, or worthy barber shop. The guys at Ventura Barber Co. are world class. Do yourself a favor see them. Your search will be over. I've been going to BEKAH for about a year now, she always does an amazing job and always take her time cutting my hair. She knows exactly what I want and how to accomplish it. She is very knowledgeable, and even makes suggestions every time I want to try something new, I trust her judgment and have never been let down, and I'm very particular about my hair. It's about time - These guys make barber shops cool again. I think they are going to do well here because it is obvious the owner understands customer service and is good at his trade. These guys deserve our business Ventura. I happened to be in Kleen Kuts with my husband, and started talking to who I thought was a female barber, turns out she is a licensed cosmetologist and does womens hair as well as mens. I needed a cut and color, and she had time that day, so I went ahead and let her do it for me. I was sooooo happy with the way it turned out. I highly recommend Anika for your color and cuts. A great barber shop amongst the many here in midtown. I'm very particular when it comes to my hair and style. I'm also a very hard customer to please! Ventura Barbara Company outperformed my previous barber by making sure I was comfortable and offering refreshments. I've been looking for a new barber since moving down to Ventura from Long Beach and found the perfect one. These guys are extremely friendly and give the cleanest cuts. My man nez hooked it up with the freshest cut and took the time to make sure I looked good. They have a pretty cheap price for a cut and they take the time to make sure you get what you like. I usually just go to Fantastic Sams, but I was looking for a personal Barber to get a nice fade and a place to groom my beard. I found that place in Klean Kuts and the Owner Joey! Prices are great and the personal service is just what I was looking for. I am also disabled and the shop is big enough to move around in my wheelchair. I've heard great things about this barbershop so I decided to take my nephew in for a haircut and Isaiah was the barber who cut his hair. He did such an amazing job, well worth the drive from Oxnard! Adam is the man I drive from Thousand Oaks to Ventura every two weeks for a haircut and a shave. doesn't matter how much I've missed at the neckline Adam is always able to fix it and make it look good. every time I go see him I walked out looking on point don't mess around with other shops just come see Adam might have to wait a little bit but totally worth it! read more

I was surprised with how complete the job was, including thread waxing my eyebrow, ears, waxing my nose, and of course trimming my beard... hot towels and more! This has nothing to do with getting my hair cut, but to say Joey was so helpful when I made a random what I'm sure was an "off the wall" question regarding where he got his clipper blades sharpened and kept in top condition.
