So dang fabulous!!! This is where hubby & my father in law get their shaves! My FIL also gets his hair cut here. Last week, my FIL turned 93! That's right...ninety three years old. We offered him lunch, a drive, an adventure .... whatever he wanted to do to celebrate. At first, he said he didn't want to do anything. Then his face lit up. He really wanted a shave & a haircut. Hubby called to see if they could fit him in. They said sure. Come on over. We did. I want to give a shout out to the man who shaved & cut Dad's hair. I will add his name soon. This kind barber had tattoos & lips tattooed on him. This kind man was so gracious & talented. He listened to Dad & the way they interacted was simply sweet. Dad's eyebrows were also trimmed as well as a few nose hairs. Dad's transformation is getting glowing reviews on my FB page. I want you to see the transformation as well. The sign says that they are a cash establishment. They do have an ATM inside. It was an honor, for me, to watch the makeover (as I put it). Very reasonably priced as well. It was my first time getting cut with Bekah and she did an outstanding job, one of the best cuts I've ever had. She listed to what I was going for and delivered with precision and style, especially on the right side when the hair lays over on the fade. They do not work on long hair. Every time I've asked I've gotten the answer that they do, but if you walk in or call they say they aren't comfortable with it. Always make an appointment too cause walk ins are met with them asking for one anyways. Oh well, will look elsewhere. read more

Been coming here since we moved to Ventura. I obviously miss my old barber. Allowing someone to cut your hair is a big deal. This is the only shop I've been too since moving here. The staff is great. My husband went to Erin today. Her fades are flawless and she cut his hair very well. It falls perfectly without much effort. She's professional and friendly. She also made his beard look great! It grows in patchy but it's hard to tell where the uneven hair growth is after she trimmed /shaped it. The shop itself is easy going and just a chill environment. First time there. Rap playing, guys casual, not a lot of fun stuff to look at but nice enough. Got AJ; he's super lean, looks cool with earrings and tats. I show him a photo of a cut I want and sit down. He points the chair with the mirror to my back and sprays my hair with water. Then he proceeds to comb and cut. It feels great. I have no idea what's going on because I'm facing a blank wall. AJ sings nice and doesn't annoy with useless chatter but he is personable. The combing felt great - like a massage. He could have mangled my hair and I wouldn't have cared, but alas, he didn't mangle it - he was meticulous and gave me the cut I asked for; one of the best I've ever gotten. The only issue (- 1 star), is the cash only policy - using the ATM cost me $5.50 in fees - so bring cash. read more

You know what really sucks. Showing up and the place not being open. I had a lot to do today and pressed for time. It's a little after 9 and even tho all of their signs and yelp say they will be open at 9:00am they were not. I highly recommend going somewhere else. How do you trust someone to cut your hair if they cannot be here on time. I will adjust my review accordingly if I ever come back. I got a hair cut by David senior recently, first time , he asked me what I wanted I asked for a high fade and he was detailed with how high I wanted it. Took his time and didn't rush with the cut, the quality is there and he is easy to talk to. I've been to new barbers where they don't even try to interact with myself and it makes it awkward sitting there. David made me feel comfortable and he earned me as a client.
