They do have a really small area for Kids, begginers just to learn how to stand up. My roller broke the straps, so I rented there, didn't like they were wet (they do spray odoban or something similar when you return, wish was powdered) The music and the lights are really great, the downside it's they have just one ring, so all together pros, beginners, people who barely stand. Also, you can't even bring water bottle inside, and if you buy there they won't stay chilli for a while as they are plastic bottles)

Yet it turns out the entry fee should be $8 and on top of that indicates in my screenshots from the official website that parents aren't even charged when they're spectating. When my wife when to the lady up front to claim all of this , the lady in front didn't cooperate for refund, only stating "umm well they only tell me what to charge and everyone pays here!" Like are you serious? And we demanded to speak to the owner and she didn't want to call the owner , but only handed over 2 complimentary vouchers for next time! It's a matter of principle and we were owed $12 bucks yes not a big deal but it's all about ethics! Like why don't you guys go on and skate your way out of here cuz the only track they got is robbing people. Truly awful and looks like they got more reflecting to do based on their service

In my experience, their…read morepublic skates get treated like extended freestyle sessions (including with coaches on the ice one-on-one with students), so if you're not a figure skater or not planning on practicing figure skating drills, there's no real safe way for you to be on the ice. As we all know, ice time is expensive, so it'll be a waste of your money. This is particularly prevalent during weekdays. The facility itself is adequate and as described on their website.

Be sure to check their website for their schedule and public skating times. But typically it's 11am-2pm on weekdays and 2pm-4pm on weekends at the main rink and then evening hours at their smaller rink. $18 for the main rink and $15 for the smaller rink. The price includes skate rentals and they also provide helmets. They also have sleds you can rent out that you can sit on while another person pushes you around. Good if you have some one in your group that isn't too keen on skating but still wants to join. They have lockers to put your stuff in while you skate, you can't take purses etc with you onto the ice, but it does cost a dollar. They do sell food but we didn't try any so can't say if it was worth it or not. Our experience skating was pretty fun, they divide up the large rink into sections. A smaller section where people can practice/learn to skate and then a larger section where everyone skates in a big loop around the rink. There's also a section in the middle where they host a few games. They play music that really makes it fun and have party lights going on. At one point they had fake snow (bubbles) falling while Frozen's Let It Go was playing. Everyone, including the other patrons, were nice. They were all genuinely trying to have a good time skating, no matter their skill level. There's a bunch of staff keeping an eye on the rink and helping anyone who may need it. We had a great time! Ice Factory is definitely a great choice for a fun outing

Roller Rink When was…read morethe last time you strapped on some roller skates and hit the wooden floor? If you are like me, it has literally been a few decades haha. Now that I have some kids, there is always the constant need to find ways for them to burn off energy that doesn't cost a small fortune - welcome to the Skate Factory. Located in Vero Beach, it is a bit of a ride for us, but worth the trip. This is an old-school skating rink complete with 80's music and disco ball! The floor is in excellent shape, and there are skates for rent for those in need. They have a lot of different themed days / /nights for all age groups - I have been there mostly weekend days because of the kids, but they have things such a free pizza night, adult night, Christian music night etc. - check their website for the rundown. Plenty of seating for those in your group who are there to watch, or don't feel like skating, and there is a small but functional food bar area that turns out some adequate snacks: Pizza, nachos, fries - the usual culprits. Food was very reasonably priced as well. For the beginners, there are "skate-mates" that you can rent which act sort of like a walker - gives the littles something to hold on to while they learn how to balance and move. We had no such thing when I was a kid and we ate a lot of pavement until we figured it out ha. Bring your own gear, or rent theirs- the rentals were all in good shape and got the job done. They have lockers available so you can store your more valuable items while you skate. Beyond the skating and food, there are some arcade games available and the restrooms were clean. Everyone working here is very friendly and helpful as well - so from start to finish just a great time out. Large parking lot in front.

There were at least 5-6 other birthday parties going on at the same time. It felt extremely crowded and chaotic. The food was a 2 out of 10, and the place had a strong smell that reminded us of mold and dirty feet. For what they charge for a birthday party, it was simply not worth the money. The kids had fun, but I would not recommend this place for a birthday party.

If you used to…read morego skating when you were a child and are looking for some nostalgia this is definitely the spot to hit. We took our daughter here recently to get some wiggles out and just enjoy learning a new skill. She's only been skating a few times around our neighborhood and we thought that this would be an immersive way to get her into the hobby. Definitely check out their calendar of events and when they have good offers and deals. You're likely to score a cheaper price than regular pricing if you pay attention. They also have themed nights and exclusive school nights. You can bring your own skates but you'll need to make sure that they pass the skate check. They do have some limitations on skates you bring in to ensure that their floors don't get torn up. As a side note you'll also want to make sure you bring in identification for all adults, and leave any food or drinks that come from outside in your car. Learned both of these the hard way. They have a smaller child skating area that helps them learn before they get out onto the bigger floor. Our daughter enjoyed this so that she had a little bit of time to learn before being thrown into a large space. We did have her try out the large space after about an hour of practice. They also have a limited number of arcade games, a small cafe, and a birthday party room. Overall: A Well it is a bit dated and could use some upgrades, it brings with it all the nostalgia of my childhood so it was still a win. I would definitely come back for a visit but try again on a non weekend day when the pricing is a little bit lower.
