Place is closed down . We hear now and it's shutdown all the doors are blocked off . Not understanding why it's not updated online.

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!! 1. The fake ice skating rink is clearly old and needs to be updated. Or, I don't know... GET AN ACTUAL RINK! 2. I noticed that some of the staff are minors. There's nothing wrong with that except they worked harder than the actual adults there. 3. This building is SO MUSTY. The bouncy houses were dirty and stinky (clearly haven't been cleaned in a while or ever). 4.The VR wasn't even fun but I also felt like I was in line waiting for a "ride" that was broken and was "fixed" by duct tapping the piece back on to the VR headset. But all that did was scratch my face. I didn't even see any sterilization WHAT SO EVER. 5. It was so expensive for just the smaller pack of activities. How can you charge so much for a place so rundown, boring, and tiny? Idk what I was expecting when I first walked in lol. 6. Last but not least... NO FOOD AND NO BEVERAGE. How can you advertise as a place for families when you don't even have snacks. NOT EVEN A SNACK! The website is all a lie. Trust the reviews and save your money!!! read more

So, I have no idea who has been reviewing this place, but they've got to be paid reviews. The entire establishment is poorly set up. Funtania is located in a strip mall of sorts, across from Fun Spot. When you first walk in, there is maybe a 20x20 section where you check in with the "front desk"/ "prize area". Everything is all open with high ceilings, but the smell of must/feet. They would definitely need to invest in some air fresheners or clean the air ducts. After you pass the check in area, you see the synthetic skating rink in front of you, with a smoke machine, some neon lights, and a projector screen. The skating rink takes up a majority of the interior space. You do not need warm clothes, as this rink is a plastic, that allows for the ice skates to glide smoothly on it. They have small skates even for skates for at least my 3 year olds size 10 feet. They spray them with a disinfectant before returning to the racks for use by another customer. Next to the skating rink, there is a small 30x15ish area for bumper cars...right next to the windows of the building? Going down to the next attraction, there is a virtual reality room, which we did not go into. Then, there's a bounce house with 2 sides of basketball. Next, there is a tiny ride(?) That just goes in circles, on the 30 minute mark of each hour, which we also did not try. Then, there is an open area with the cute light up tables and chairs that you see online. A bathroom area comes next, then a raceway game, broken shooting game, 2 motorcycle game, and a 4 person air hockey table. That's about the extent of the arcade games. Then you've got the 2 mini party rooms, which are separated by a sheer curtain . Nothing is like the pictures reflect online. Lastly, they have a ropes course/jungle gym area in the very back corner. The ropes were hanging from the structure, very stretched out and almost to the point of being unsafe. The slide is nearly a straight drop, with 2 tunes hanging from the ceiling, unattached. One of the wooden walking planks up top had a screw hanging out of the bottom to potentially hurt kids. We were there for a birthday party, which was poorly put together, with THREE parties at the same time slot, entirely too many people, no mask requirements, and no adherence to COVID social distancing. Overall, I think the business needs A LOT of work or investments in improvements and fixing/replacing the attractions inside. We would not return for future occasions. read more

Had our daughter's 7th bday party here. The staff there went out of their way to assist us in making the event super special. They set up the party room with our decorations in a way that I could have never thought up on my own. It looked magnificent. They also were able to assist all of the kids in using/operating all of the different games they wanted to use. They remained friendly even when dealing with a dozen 7yr olds running around crazy. To top it off, the churros they served with the food were the best churros I've ever had, which I know sounds funny, but when you try them you'll see! Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great place that offers a more private party than the big upscale places frequented by all of the Orlando tourists! read more

10/10 would NOT recommend. $450 for a party, the workers walk around and watch you like you are gonna rob them. It's gotta be 90 degrees inside. The only fun thing to do was the slide and it was really unsafe. The bounce house is dirty and deflated. Playground looks like it's about to fall apart. You get one hour in the party room and they MEAN IT! You cannot go in until your time and when the hour is over you have to get out. To be treated like that for $450 is crazy lol literally go ANYWHERE else. They make it seem so nice on social media but this place is so outdated, dangerous and a HUGE waste of money read more

My boyfriend and I went here to try out their VR escape room. My boyfriend is a big gamer and I love escape rooms so why not try it together The place it at is small. We were able to pay at the counter and they informed us of the next time we would be able to do the VR escape room we had to wait about 20min which wasn't bad. When we arrived it was a quite day. The ladies set us up in this room where we were separated by a curtain but we were sitting next to each other. She showed us how to hold the controller and how to move around in the game and she gave a quick rundown of what we were supposed to do in the game. We had to pick our characters and before the game started we were able to practice walking and picking things up with the controller. We sat down and played the game the whole time. The only thing we moved was our heads to look around and our arms to grab stuff with the controller There wasn't any walking around the area. We played for an hour. I'm not a gamer and I couldn't get the grasp of how to use the controllers on each hand. It took me a while to get comfortable with it. My boyfriend loved it. It was interactive and he loved the fact that he could grab stuff and move stuff in a video game. I like regular escape rooms bc I like to touch and figure out clues. It was nice to experience another form of an escape room. We didn't make it out but it was fun to do something differently. The place had plenty of parking. It is located in a children's play area but when we went there were no child in there and it was very quite. We definitely have to try a virtual escape room again. read more

This place is awful, trashy, and dirty. My friend had a birthday party for her daughter there. There's not much to do and the staff there is a joke. Very unfriendly and unhelpful. Acted annoyed you when asked them for anything. And they charged her for a plastic cup! Go across the street to Funspot. This place only cares about your money. This place is HORRIBLE! Before we paid, I asked if my hockey skates will work on their fake ice flooring and they assured me they would definitely work, not at all! Within 3 minutes of entering I asked for a refund, they said, no. The kids asked if they could do the bounce house instead, they said, no refund on skating and I would have to pay for bounce house, ($15) for the smallest bounce house I've ever seen! Honestly not worth the money at all. Very expensive and not everything is included, so it does get more expensive. The employees don't really care about their job. You can tell by their lack of work with the snack bar and none speak English. The whole place looks like it was pieced together from different businesses. They barely pay their employees. One of the girls told me that she gets $9 an hour for working every position from cook to front desk. The girls said it was too much work for not enough pay. The girls also mentioned that they have employees that come in and out because of the lack of structure. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless you really have nothing better to do. I feel bad about saying all this but I think people should know the place you are about to pay good money for. Good luck and search for another spot. read more

RUNNN!!! This place is a hole in the wall. First off, no curb appeal, so you'd definitely miss it when pulling in parking lot. It looks vacant from the street and upon entering it gets worse. If I could give zero stars, I would for poor customer service. I purchased a Groupon from this business. My family and I drove 1.5 hours and dealt with traffic with 2 small children to go here. When we arrived, we were told that the unlimited yellow bands we had purchased were no good and that they would no longer redeem them. Mind you, the expiration on the Groupon states March 2021. When I asked to speak with a manager, there was not one in. They called and let me speak with her personally. When I told her I simply could not afford to pay them another $90 on top of what I had already paid and asked for her to help with the cost since they would not honor my already paid for tickets. She simply told me no, very rudely. I am beyond disappointed as are my kids who were ready to play. We of course turned around and left because it was down right wrong. I will never come back and would highly recommend that you save your money and use it in a more family friendly business who values their customers and has a sense of morales and integrity. There are many other options for you... were on our way to Hukoo's Family Fun center now... and will happily pay full price. read more

We came here on Christmas day because their website and google hours said they were open. They were not open. Beware this establishment runs off of false advertisement, misleading size of space, no room for parents or parental supervision, no room for gifts, it was very claustrophobic. It was very dirty and had awfully rude customer service, they were very stingy with every accommodation from water to juice to food to allowing kids to play in certain areas, it was simply a scam. I wouldn't recommend Funtania. Save you're time and money. I paid $85 for my 4 grandchildren. They were finished with all Virtual Realty's within 15 minutes. Only one staff member running the entire park. So your children will be standing around waiting for assistance a lot. We were told that half the rides/VR weren't working, but still had to pay full price. Your children may also complain of being hot because this place doesn't have air conditioning. I wish I read the reviews before my sister and I took our nephew! It was raining and we were looking for an indoor place to take him while we were in town, since he'd suffered through museums, etc. This place LOOKED fun online, but what a dump. When we came in we were practically the only family there (that's after we found the place--the windows are all dark and creepy (I get not having them clear, but maybe put murals or cutouts along the windows, like daycares do)? Everything inside felt dingy and gross. The prices sucked. You had to buy these weird packages and nothing was worth the money. My nephew did their excuse for a bounce house, and then we did bumper cars for about five minutes before a bored staff member stopped it. The "carousel ride" were little cars on a track that went around a tiny little circle three times. I feel bad taking him there. We should have just done an outdoor adventure park out in the rain. This establishment was just not it, first and last time at this location. You dont get for what you paid for. I have a 4 and a 10 year old, i purchased the vr package for my 10 year old.. which included vr lounge bouncy house and ice skating. Once he did all of those he got a little bored and wanted to play with his 4 year old sister in the jungle gym. Instantly one of the workers yelled from across the room saying he cant be in there. So while he was trying to climb down the lately comes rushing into the jungle gym and signals for him to get out. Mind you there were literally maybe 5 kids in total at this establishment which i didnt see a big deal if he played for just a little bit in the jungle gym. So while he went back to the vr lounge his 4 year old sister sees a sand box right at the entrance and the worker instantly looking for her tag and says no she cant play with the sandbox because we didnt purchase the package for her. I think dealing with children and knowing theres not many kids in the location i would let her just play for a little bit. But they rather had her crying just because they wanted more money to be paid in order for her to use all the obstacle. Just with their customer service they lost a customer and i will not take my kids here again. read more

I was highly disappointed with this place. I paid over $500 for my kid's birthday party. They were not attentive at all, they did not do anything that was included in the birthday package. The souvenir turned out to be a little pin. The employees were rude to my guest when one of them asked about the games they were told you can use them but none of them really work anyways, also one of my guests ordered food and one of the employee's kid pulled her food towards her and claimed that it belonged to them. I would never go back to this place or ever recommend anyone to it for a birthday party the amount I paid was not even close to worth it. The website is misleading and honestly would want my money back because of how bad this experience was. I have never had this bad of an experience in my life.
