Went here for a fun date night and had a great time! The neon artwork on the walls really set a cool vibe, and the retro music added to the nostalgic feel of the place. It's definitely a fun, lively spot, there were a lot of birthday parties happening, and I could see it being a great venue for a kids' birthday celebration. The arcade games are a nice touch, and they even do fun activities like limbo on the rink. The only downside was the wait for skates, it took a while to get ours. Unfortunately, the only in-line skates available in my size had a broken buckle, which made skating a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, it was a really enjoyable experience and I'd definitely consider coming back!

Went on adult night and it was so fun! The snacks are really good and cheap (no they don't serve alcohol) and it's fun and a huge place! I love how the lights are off! They give you the decision if you wanna do rollerblades or skates! Love this spot!

Love it here! The rink is big and has a smaller mini rink in the back to the right of the food area (behind the dj booth). The mini rink kind of looks like a dance floor but it's big enough to practice your moves. The pizza is honestly one of the best I've had in Florida (and I'm from NYC). And sometimes they do $1 pizza slices. The staff in pink shirts are nice, however, if you're there late after an adult session, the adults, not so much. They hold skate classes at 9 AM on Saturdays and the coaches are awesome. Adult nights are Wed (shuffle skating), Thurs (rhythm skating), Sat (Roll Bounce), and Sun (Soul Roll). And all levels are always welcomed.

I have been taking class here and it has been a great experience. Although the Saturday class is full of young kids if you are not afraid you will lean the fundamentals that helped me greatly. The staff was amazing. The instructors are friendly and helpful it's a great place for kids and adults.

If you're an adult go skate on Wednesday night but DEFINITELY Thursday night for Rhythm Night. When kids are skating on the floor it can get a little chaotic. Some tips: if you're slow, make your way towards the center, I know it doesn't seem right but it's the system. Wear tall socks, your ankles will thank you. BEND YOUR KNEES, it should feel like you're doing a squat without leaning forward. If you feel like you'll fall, get low and bendy or reach for your knees. Have fun! Be safe!

My church youth group decided to have a girls night out here. When I parked, I began to second guess myself and my sanity for being willing to go to a roller rink for the first time in over 20 years. There was a crowd of teens ready with skates in hand to have fun with their friends. Apparently Friday night can have a crowd of up to 500. I was a bit apprehensive about it but they had two police officers on hand to ensure that the rink is safe and secure. We went to the window to turn in our shoes for skates. This was a frustrating process because there was no line. It was a blob of bodies crowding the window and there was no designation of if you were picking up skates or dropping off. I think that it would be helpful in streamlining the whole process. I literally spent 20 minutes waiting for skates then another 20 minutes trying to drop off my skates and get my shoes back. Part of the reason for the delay also was due to people getting their skates and putt putting them on in front of the window versus going off to one of the nearby benches. The music was good, the skates were ok. It's better to bring your own. There are around 10-15 arcade games, bouncy house and a cafe. There was a dark room near the cafe that was a "dance room". This room is dark and I felt inappropriate for safety. The pizza looked great and tasted good. Among favorite food choices are also mini churros and French fries. I'm on the fence about whether or not I will bring my girls here or suggest a group outing here. If I do it wouldn't be on a Friday night.

Astro skate was great for beginners, but it's best to visit on a day when it's not too busy. Learning to skate with too many people around can be challenging. I went with friends who were also beginners, and the staff was friendly. They allowed us to use a small room to practice before moving to the bigger one, which was very helpful. Overall, I had a great experience at the skate place and would recommend it to anyone looking to learn how to skate.

We for invited to hang out with my friend and her kids. My daughter had been asking to go skating for ever! We went on a Wednesday evening and from 6-6:30 they do skating lessons then you can skate from 6:30-8. They gave free pizza for the kids and adults that paid to get it which I thought was a deal. Drinks and other food was available for purchase. It's your typical entertainment finger foods and snacks. Everything is was cooked to order so you can expect a wait if they are busy. The staff were friendly and even with the small amount of ppl they had working they were getting it done efficiently. My kids loved skating. They also had an indoor bouncy house and some arcade games (a few were out of order) they had a contest for most red that night (it was Valentine's Day theme) and the winner I think got a party for free. We will definitely be back as it gave me nostalgia when I was a kid skating. And it was some good kid fun

Beware: "Learn to Skate Class" was suppose to include a pair of rental skates but they will charge you extra for rental skates!

I didn't just want somewhere my child would be "watched"--I wanted somewhere that would actively nurture emotional intelligence and provide my child with the tools to excel in life. I'm thrilled to say that Kiddie Academy of Oviedo has surpassed my expectations in every way. The staff at Kiddie Academy of Oviedo truly understands each child and their unique needs. They are very intentional with every relationship, ensuring each child feels supported, encouraged, and understood. I feel like my child is genuinely seen here, and that is such a relief to me. One of the best aspects of Kiddie Academy of Oviedo is the communication system. It's incredibly user-friendly and transparent. I can check in regularly throughout the day and see how my child is doing through live updates and photos of activities. I get daily, detailed reports that cover everything--from how my child's morning went when they arrived to their eating habits, accomplishments, and the activities they participated in. I even get specifics on their nap times and what meals they ate, down to the portion sizes. This has been invaluable in helping me understand my child's nutrition and overall well-being. The teachers are fantastic--attentive, proactive, and clearly dedicated to giving the children a structured yet caring environment. They put a lot of thought into the activities they plan, and I can see the positive impact on my child's growth every day. The director is also wonderful--attentive and hands-on, she makes an effort to connect with every child and parent, which adds a personalized touch to the whole experience. I recommend Kiddie Academy of Oviedo 100% to any parent going through the transition of leaving their child in someone else's care. It's a place where I feel confident that my child is not just cared for, but genuinely encouraged to grow, learn, and begin to spread their wings.

This is my second child and I used to work for a local AEYC affiliate (they accredit child cares). I have been in more child care centers then I can count and I have seen high quality child cares as well as ones that were just awful. As a parent my oldest daughter was in 2 child care centers as an infant. I chose this location as it is right off the 408 and on my way to work. When I toured this facility I was met by Karin the director. She clear about her guidelines and rules which I found very helpful. While the infant room seemed small at first glance, it's really the perfect size. They do not use fabric swings and bouncy seats (they always got my eldest daughter sick when she was a baby so this made me happy.) The teachers use the floor and give the babies lots of tummy time. This may seem weird to new parents but it really is the better way according to NAEYC guidelines. The room is kept very clean. This center also provides food and formula. Diapers are also available for a small fee (totally worth it!). The two teachers Bella and Martha are wonderful. My child lights up when she sees them both. The one or two times I had concerns or questions I always felt listened to. My issues were always resolved very quickly. And the director ALWAYS followed up. When I had a concern about my daughter's flat head from her stay in the NICU (she was a preemie and started at school at 3 months at 8lbs), EVERYONE was accommodating. I even had Wanda the assistant director talk to me about it in passing, "I see she's really doing well on her tummy time!" I would say La Petite on Goldenrod and Lake Underhill is truly a hidden gem. Competitive pricing too. I love the auto pay! I love the diaper and wipes service.

The lunches are actually healthy like spaghetti and meat sauce, roast chicken, rice and beans. Every now and then they do either hot dog or hamburger. No fried foods are served which is a real plus! My sons love the food. They have lots of cool toys, music, and activities. My son made a fish on a string and pole (stick) that was so cute. It is very affordable and vacation weeks are only $20 reservation fees vs. half of the normal weekly tuition. Kids and Co is open until 7pm for late workers! The Director is fantastic and extremely personable. Very easy to talk to if your child has any special needs. I deducted half a star because not all of the teachers speak a lot of English. Note that the teachers for 2 yrs olds and up + the Director speak perfect English so not a big deal to me (just a couple folks out of the 10 on staff). The director was out sick the next day, Thursday, so my daughter went to school as normal, and picked up as normal. The next morning, Friday, when the director returned, it was like a meeting had already happened in which my daughter was asked to leave the school, because she already had her speech ready. Additionally, director Elaine *refused* to read my email that I had written to her, even after asking her to read it prior to our conversation. She told me she had "better things to do than to sit and read her emails first thing in the morning when she was out sick". The attitude of herself was very poor as she continued to raise her voice at me and then told me, "I don't think you or your daughter are a good fit here" before she had even discussed anything with the owner. It is obvious they are in over their heads when it comes to kids with short attention spans and strong willed personalities, as they enrolled and un enrolled my daughter within 4 weeks, attempting to label her as a difficult child without providing her with behavioral supports, accommodations, and calm down breaks. I am sad to know that this location would prefer to get rid of a child who needs extra support rather than work toward meeting them where they're at. We took our daughter here recently to get some wiggles out and just enjoy learning a new skill. She's only been skating a few times around our neighborhood and we thought that this would be an immersive way to get her into the hobby. Definitely check out their calendar of events and when they have good offers and deals. You're likely to score a cheaper price than regular pricing if you pay attention. They also have themed nights and exclusive school nights. You can bring your own skates but you'll need to make sure that they pass the skate check. They do have some limitations on skates you bring in to ensure that their floors don't get torn up. As a side note you'll also want to make sure you bring in identification for all adults, and leave any food or drinks that come from outside in your car. Learned both of these the hard way.
