Is very good dental ,my two kids always came here to fix all the tooth , they are doing very good job.

This place is very dirty now. Xray is really dirty and done by someone not so professional because they force it and try to get it done but it hurts you and they try to retake it again and again. Cleaning was only few minutes because I have an insurance that they worry won't pay them a lot then why accept it at the first place? I literally referred so many relatives and friends to here and they told me that cleaning was just a few minutes, and I thought they were exaggerating because I had good experience here with the young dentists and even Dr. Li few years ago but unfortunately, it is really true now. Dr. Li may have good skills at being a dentist but his ethnic is questionable and his laziness is definitely a little concerning. This place wasn't like that before pandemic. It just went downhill. A little misleading from all the high ratings.. Everyone is super nice at this dental office and explains everything to you. But I don't think the office is super clean. When they took x rays, they didn't clean the mouthpieces, but just replaced the plastic covering it. But Dr. Li is really nice and gentle. A little FYI - for people who are very germaphobic.. They don't always pick up their phone calls even though I call on the days they are open (T, TH, Sat). You'd have to call multiple times a day to catch them listening to the phone. On the day of check-in, they have you sign some paperwork that says you consent to all sorts of dental work (I wonder why they have you sign it even though I was going in for only a dental cleaning.) Told me they would get back to me in 6 weeks to check in with dental insurance if they cover for a specific dental treatment, but they never called me back. Until I called a couple of months later, and they told me they would call me back in 3 weeks. Still haven't heard back from them. I decided to go with Dragon Dental instead since they got back to me in 3 days to check in with my insurance. Even they said 6 weeks to check with insurance is ridiculous. Overall - very nice hospitality, but rather shady. Would recommend going to Dragon Dental in Oakland instead. read more

TLDR: Unethical, greedy dentist. I genuinely suggest know what your issue is before going there and get a second opinion or else Dr. Li would be lying to you to make profit/claim more insurance money. Long Version: He used to be my primary dentist as a child. I originally greatly trusted the dentist, despite that every time I go there are always cavities. As adulthood came, I start to feel some pain due to my wisdom teeth growing sideways. Dr. Li took the X-Ray, asked me what I know about my wisdom teeth. At the time, I did not know it was my wisdom teeth that was causing the problem and explained that I did not know anything. Instead of explaining to me that it was due to my wisdom teeth, he tries to attribute the problem to some deep cavity that is located where it "cannot be captured by the X-Ray". He claims that because it cannot be seen on the X-Ray, my medi-cal insurance would not cover. Hence I would have to pay for the invasive procedure out of pocket. He also proclaim that if I do not get the procedure done within a week, the problem would be greatly worsen and a tooth root removal procedure will need to be done. He also mentioned that I have two other smaller cavities that needs to be filled I really believed him at the time since he was the professional, but luckily my mother saw through the lie and took me aside. My mom and I had an argument. I was finally convinced when she explain the possibility that he was lying and asked me to get a second opinion. I did, and I found out that the pain was from my wisdom teeth growing side ways rather than due to some uncapturable cavity. The two cavity I had turned out to only be one cavity that needs to be filled, along with another very small one that could just be re-calcified if left alone. Teeth being able to re-calcify was a new concept to me as Dr.Li would always fill every cavity if he could to claim medical insurance money. During teenagerhood, he also tried to convince me to get braces when other dentist told me that my teeth alignment was completely fine. 1. I DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT RECOMMEND this facility of Practice for dental work! Unless you have no choice and gives no caca about your dental health. 2. From my observation, the dentist works on elders, he assist people with retainers and such! I saw him with seniors and standing around glaring and talking to the receptionist. Other than that no comment on the dentist! 3. The young lady dental hygienist is the REAL A**hole! She got an attitude issue! She's the most condescending person who needs to get checked! The story is I asked that girl about a root canal, she gave me an attitude out of no where before she even gave me an answer. I said, "excuse me, can I ask you a question?" She said, "What?" Highly recommend if you don't have dental insurance. I called lots of places for my dad. Some not accept new patients or give me the appointment 1-2 weeks later. Ct Dental told me come to the office on the same day, they remove my dad's losing teeth immediately. Drop off the denture to add a teeth, can be pick up on the same day or next day. (Last year took almost 3 weeks to get the denture back at another dental office. My dad was frustrated without his denture and take liquid meal for 3 weeks.) Fair price and fast service. read more

I hate that I had to write this review because I had high hopes for this office. But I want to share my experience so that at the very least folks have an idea of what could happen. This was my first low key racist experience at a dentist office. They came up with every excuse in the book for why they either couldnt help me, or what extra hoops I needed to jump through to maybe one day be seen. The energy was off-putting. I was excited to try this dentist because of the reviews, but this office was not inviting to me. When I called over the phone, the lady was kind and told me to come in with my the insurance card I had, that I told her which one I had, but when they saw me it was like they were shocked that I was not who they assumed I was through my telephone voice, so they came up with a myriad of different reasons not to help me and even told me to try other dental clinics( even when I mentioned a simple cleaning maybe down the line sometime). Clearly, they did not want me as a patient, and wanted me out of there, and it was too obvious that it was because I did not look like them. When I called my dental insurance, they said the office already had everything they needed to help me with the card I had shown them(they made it seem like I needed some other card). If you come here, you need to be Asian or Asian American or they will find ways to make you feel very uncomfortable so that you never want to come back. They shouldn't treat people like that, ever and for no reason. If this is an Asian descent only dental clinic, just say that so other people dont try to come here Dont give people the run around. I've been coming to CT dental for years now. I was recommended to go from my mom and my first experience with them was when my bottom molar was in excruciating pain. I later found out it was infected and needed a root canal, the set up was really fast and they were able to get me an appointment really quick In and out, painless and professionally done. Mind you that wile all of this was going on I had no insurance, I was 19 but Dr.Lee understood my situation and heavily discounted me each time I went. Little do we ever pay attention to our teeth but I've learned so much how to take care and prevent my teeth from falling out and I felt really cared for. Dr. Lee and his associated are all really caring doctors who wants the best for their patients He is very light handed and it never hurts as bad as you think! Very disappointed! I am new to CT. My appointment was scheduled in the early morning. When I walked in, the receptionist was sitting there doing nothing and no others waiting. So I initiated a nice greeting, but she we wouldn't look at me nor respond at all. Strike 1. Sit there for about 10 mins. She asked for my id as and insurance card. Another 10 mins later, she had me to fill out a form in a demand tone. Strike 2. A while later my name was called by the dentist assistant. 15 mins behind schedule already. But she s obviously not very knowledgeable. She didnt know how to do the x ray and had to ask for help at last. Finally I got to see the dentist. She told me they couldnt remove my tooth because of limited equipments. I was like what?!!! I had explained my situation before setting up the appointment. Totally a waste of time. Today, I have taken my daughter to this dental office for her to get her teeth clean. After the dentist, specifically one Mr. David Y. Li, had "finished" cleaning my daughter's teeth, I was greeted with the most unpleasant of surprises. Only the outer area of my daughter's teeth were clean, while the inner parts were still dirty. I had asked kindly for him to clean the inner parts of my daughter's teeth a few times, however, he would respond negatively. He would reply with either a: " your daughter was unwilling, she was struggling so I couldn't fix them" or simply silence, ignoring my presence and continue on his way. I knew for certain that my nine year old was still; I was there right beside her during the process, she was composed and obedient. The man even threatened to never help my family with their dental problem if I continued to talk to him; no one working there helped me, their backs were turned towards me and suddenly gained selective hearing. Because of this experience, never again will I come back to this dental office filled with greedy corrupted individuals with no moral. read more

There allway let they friend cut the line，No matter how long you wait, I came to wash my teeth. After washing my teeth, The assistant said that the teeth should be replenished. I have to pay for $120. I said that I will wash my teeth first. When I make another appointment, she will tell another assistant in English. First of all, I think their services was good. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and Dr. Li was a very polite person. BUT I was disappointed by my last visit there. I did DEEP CLEANING there and the whole process only took 5 MINS. That 5 mins was from I sit down inside until it was done. I had couple regular tooth cleaning there and it usually takes about 5 mins too. I believe the deep cleaning process should be way longer. My insurance covered the whole payment which was from $1000-$1500 to do the deep cleaning, I will not waste that budget there if I knew it only took 5 mins. read more

Did a deep cleaning today!! It went great because it didn't take long as I thought it would be like what people have been saying. My appointment started at 10:00am and finished at 10:45am. Myself and my spouse have gone to Dr Li for our dental work for years now. He does excellent work, and his fees are reasonable. I have trouble relaxing at the dentist, and both he and his assistant were very helpful so that I didn't gag as much. He is very patient with questions. When I wanted mercury-free fillings, he knew which one to recommend. Although the people working at the front desk have a strong accent, Dr Li's English is excellent. Absolutely terrible experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I had a horrible experience here while only getting my teeth cleaned by an obviously inexperienced dentist. I had to even go back inside after I left and ask them to clean my teeth again because I could visibly still see plaque and barely noticed a difference from before my cleaning. When I sat back in the chair, the speed at which the dentist began to clean my teeth tells me she knew her work was unacceptable and she knew exactly where she still had to clean. However, I chose to give them another try and booked an appt for my dad with them and he was met with unprofessionalism and disrespect. His dentist refused to even greet him and began to check my dad's teeth without cleaning his hands after just being on his cellphone.
