I should have communicated that clearly, though. The customer service was exceptional, but do keep in mind that they close at 4 during the week. I've ordered with this florist for years and recently placed an order in April for Mother's Day... The order as all my orders have been in the past was well over $100 in flowers... Not only did they miss the delivery day, they put the burden on my 86 year old mother to adjust her schedule and be available for the next day... At no time did they call me and inform me of their missed delivery.... They instead blamed my 86 year old mother for not being home when I'm fact their delivery person did not have the apartment number... They didn't even try to leave with the apartment complex management office.... I heard some good things about this place and I must say definitely believe the hype. I ordered an arrangement for delivery on Valentine's Day and could not be happier with the service. They took my simple request of white hydrangea with red roses and turned it into something really beautiful. They added extra details I didn't even think of, which shows their experience and expertise. The recipient got many compliments on the flowers and a few said they were the prettiest ones delivered that day. I was also pleased at how wide their range is for delivery as my arrangement needed to get delivered all the way out in Stone Oak. Above all, the price was great. I spent $92 which included taxes and delivery fee. In my opinion, that is a great deal for the size of the arrangement and the distance traveled for delivery. My overall experience was great. We had the wedding for my sister-in-law in San Antonio last month. We are from out of town and we decided to use Oakleaf after reviewing online all the options we have for weddings. Julio did the best of all the vendors we used for the wedding. I work in the bridal industry, and when I was planning my wedding I was told by my boss (who has been in the industry for 25+ years) that Oakleaf was the way to go. I had already made up my mind that I was going to go with HEB Blooms, but thought what the heck, I'll go talk to them and give them a chance. When I went in to interview with Julio he was so professional and so helpful, not to mention friendly. We sat down and I was very honest with him about my lower than average budget. He talked to me about my options without making me feel uncomfortable or pressuring me into something I couldn't afford, and within a few minutes of discussion had put together an arrangement for me to see. I was over the moon! His work is beautiful and he understood my vision perfectly! Plus, HEB Blooms was, in the end, going to be much more expensive for something I wasn't nearly as in love with. When I went in to pay off my balance before the wedding, I went in without an appointment (months later) and he immediately recognized and genuinely remembered me, which made me feel valued, and like I was in excellent hands. He helped set up the arch for my wedding, and when I was doing a final walkthrough before the ceremony I could see him setting everything up so nicely, it made me feel excited instead of anxious! Without a shadow of a doubt, Julio was my FAVORITE vendor. He's the kind of nice person who made me feel good about giving him my money (which is saying a lot when you have an entire wedding to pay for).
