I hate doing anything other than great reviews for local businesses, but we had a very discouraging experience with flowerama. My mom had surgery that required multiple nights in the hospital. A well meaning family member who lives out of state ordered flowers for my mom to be delivered to her house, not realizing nobody was home to get the delivery. Flowerama apparently has a policy where they will not complete a delivery unless someone is there to physically accept it. Then they called my parents (intended recipients) and told them they could either go pick up the bouquet themselves, or pay another $16 to have it delivered to a different address. They clearly were not in any condition after my moms surgery to deal with that, and it seems absurd that they would be responsible to pay this fee. However I opted to go pick it up for them since they were unable to. I arrive to pick up the bouquet, sign for it, and am honestly so underwhelmed with the bouquet. It was a $70 (including delivery fee... which wasn't delivered, but I digress) bouquet. That primarily consisted of baby's breath, carnations, and other filler flowers. I will 10/10 recommend going to heb, or even paying the $8 delivery fee with heb to get a much higher quality bouquet for a fraction of the price. Even if flowerama didn't add so much extra stress to an already stressful situation, the price for what was received would deter me from being a repeat customer. read more

Absolutely the worst experience and "policy" they have for red roses that did not impress. Would I have read the bad reviews, we would have never ordered from this place. Order a dozen red roses for National GF Day for my gf. It was an arrangement that cost me over $100 dollars. I will admit that upon arrival the arrangement was exactly as pictured and beautiful. However, the roses browned and wilted by the next day. I reached out to them to request a partial refund to which they advised their policy did not allow for that but if I could bring the original vase, they would replace it. I shared that my gf was out of town and would not return until the following week to which they shared they would be happy to replace it the week she returns. I responded by saying that "it would be after the fact and no use next week." (They made sure to quote me in a later response in and email. Additionally, I had the flowers delivered it is an inconvenience to have to go into their shop, which is not conveniently located to receive a replacement. They offered a $25 dollar store credit. Really? For an arrangement that cost over $100 dollars, not to mention the cost of delivery. That must be a joke! Anyway, do not do business with this scam of a company and make sure you read the fine print on their "policy". Never doing business with them again! read more

I called late Tuesday night for a funeral spray to be delivered on Thursday. The service rep was patient, helpful and knowledgeable as I didn't know what kind or price range I could afford. Once decision was made, I was promised a picture to be texted to me as I was out of town. The funeral spray was gorgeous and I am appreciative of everyone involved. I went here about a week ago to get a single rose for my girlfriend. The shop staff/owner was very knowledgeable and provided me with exceptional help in picking the right rose. She also gave me information on getting roses tinted or painted specific colors and pricing for that process. She gave advice and caring for the rose to get the most value from it. The rose itself looks fantastic and my girlfriend has enjoyed seeing it. I look forward to using this shop in the future. read more

Been coming here for years. Had a poor experience today but one of the more seasoned florists was able to step in and kind of recover the situation. Was told they have red roses, but they in fact did not have them. Payed over 100$ for something completely different than i wanted Edit: Just realized the Bouqet i bought which was supposed to be a Dozen is only 10. I live in Mass and have family in San Antonio. It's often dicey calling from far away for flower delivery as we don't know, in advance, what the experience will be like. I have been using Flowerama for years and they have ALWAYS done a stellar job with the arrangements, the delivery and customer service when I call to place the order. I purchased a sympathy floral arrangement for my best friend that lost her father. Roses were brown. I called to inform and was given a replacement that was a quarter of the size of original arrangement. This arrangement turned brown less than 24 hours after receiving. When I called about it the manager Said asked if I return brown produce And offered to reimburse for 3 roses. She requested that I pick up the flowers and take them Back to shop. Who does this ?!!! I wish I could add photos of the discrepancy between what is advertised and what I got. When I asked what happened they told me the internet photo was a one sided arrangement. I ordered a $150 arrangement that was so pitiful that I had to go to HEB to get my wife something else. There I got 2 $45 arrangements, both were more impressive, fresher, and healthier than the Flowerama $150 bouquet. I have been using flowerama for ten years now, but have been disappointed the last 3. This year (2023) was by far the worse. read more

Worst customer service I have encountered in a long time. I went to buy my grandma a peace lily because of my mother who passed away..and this place charged me twice. I let them know I would be upset if they had two charges taken out of my account because the receipt didn't pop out of their register the first transaction, so they wanted to charge me again. They assured me the first charge would go away and provided me contact information for if it didn't. Sure enough it didn't go away and I was charged twice. I called the number they provided and instantly was called a liar. I then spoke with the store owner who mentioned for me to wait 10 days. I patiently have waited for over a month and not to my surprise no resolution. He assured me multiple times he would refund me and never did. He also said his system only showed him 1 charge while I showed proof my bank account showed 2.. implying again I was making this up. Very disappointed in this company and in the business owner for not doing right by the customer especially while going thru this difficult time losing my mother. They don't deserve any business because they don't care doing right by their customers. read more

The stores had everything but I loved the amount of talavera pottery to choose from and stocked up as much as my suitcase would allow. Prices are super reasonable as well considering these are handmade artisan pieces. I use my tazas everyday and they are the best coffee cups I have ever had. The merchants are super friendly and helpful as well. Everyone was very welcoming and made it a great experience. I hope to be back in the future!

My machine is older and has many many hours of sewing on it as I have a small sewing business and I make four or five quilts a year. It's a drive for us almost 4 hours each way. But I wouldn't let anyone else touch my machine.

This rating is for service! I'm in California and I needed flowers to be delivered to a mortuary for a coworkers loss. I went online and came across this florist. I called them yesterday, for delivery today. Trudy assisted me over the phone and took my order, as they were going to be able to fulfill it. The service I received from her was excellent and made me feel reassured the flowers would be delivered. Immediately after we got off the phone I received an email confirming my order. Then today, I receive a call that my flowers had been delivered. Wow, what a great service!!! how many times do we order and begin to wonder if recipient has already received it??!! Not to mention, I also received an order delivery confirmation! I'm very please with the service and can only expect the arrangement was as nice as the service. The lady at the counter was very kind and showed us several options. Many were above our budget for a coworker, but she also had a couple that were just right.
