I ordered a replacement item from them a month ago and haven't received any response for a $5 item. I've called on several occasions and they never answer the phone. I went in person and was told that sometimes it takes up to a month, but when I initially ordered the item, I was told that it would take one week and they would call me. I stopped in to get help with glasses that I bought here that are still under warranty, but she insisted I go to another store 30 minutes away to reorder. We bought a pair of sun glasses in Gilroy, before coming here I called the gilroy location to ask If I could return the glasses and get the special buy one get the 2nd pair at 50% off at any location and they said I could. The gentleman here at Arden Fair was super friendly but not the lady! She was the manager rude! Said "it was a red flag" that I was returning the glasses with no case because Gilroy sold them to me with no case only gave me a bag. I bought the glasses just 7 days ago and she made a big deal and called the gilroy location to double check that in fact they did sell them to me without the case/box. I would never return here! Worse customer service for the price on things they need to have a better manager who can handle this type of situations because she clearly can't. If I could give a 0 star for customer service I would, the story is nice but bad service. read more

Poor customer service. Went to buy sunglasses. Picked them out right away. Took them to register. Cashier said she had to clean them. Disappears for 5-10 min helping other customers. Was so strange. My obsession for sunglasses started as a kid. Oakley has been my all time favorite and goto brand since my begining to buy my own stuff. You want to create your own shades? You can here. With a handful of selections you can take amd switch up the lens from regular to polarized and then switch up some colors too. And if you get the Batwolf they have the interchangeable O's on the side. Just use the computer on the wall and it has many options to use and get to see virtually what it looks like. It does cost a bit more than the already made ones in store, i got to feel the shades they had avaiable and then made it my own. It was worth it since they didnt have what i wanted already made. The store has many O clothes. From shirts, sweatshirt, jackets, boots, shorts and pants. The only thing i noticed they got rid of was there belts. They told me they no longer sell them. Service has been helpful when neesed and not pushy at all. Good atmosphere, good clothes and killer shades. If you happen to buy a pair of sunglasses, and the cleaning kit you get lifetime complimentry refills on the glass cleaner. They have awesome deals if you get there at the end of the seasons. read more

I happen to currently be in the Sac area for 2 weeks for work. 6 months ago after living in Elk Grove for 22 years I am now an citizen of Texas. Regardless, I have only worn Oakley prescription glasses and custom sunglasses for almost 30 years. After recently having the optics upgraded to Zeiss lenses on my oldest Oakley frames (which are both amazing), one of the nose pads broke off. So...I called this Oakley store at Arden Fair and asked if they could repair my frames. Absolutely was the response, so I headed to Arden Fair Mall. The experience was beyond stellar! Not only was the broken nose bumper replaced with new...so was the other side! The big positive...NO CHARGE! These days this is very rare along with the total dedication to customer service! I can't speak highly enough about how I was treated and the end result. This particular Oakley store is 1st Class all the way! Kudos! read more

Came in looking for a pair of holbrooks but I wasn't really sure if I wanted them. The guy that helped me out was awesome. I mean i was the only one in the store but hey he gave me the service I was looking for. Most likely I was gonna try a pair on and then order them online. At first he said he didn't have the one I wanted in stock. But he double checked and he did have it in stock so it saved me from waiting for the sunglasses to be shipped. Great service! read more

First time ever making a purchase at the Oakley store in Arden Mall. My husband wanted to come here to get the bands on his Oakley shades fixed and he ended up getting another pair of shades and so did I! I'm not much of a fan of Oakley shades (since they're really not my style), but I did find a cute and hip pair of shades that fit me perfectly! My hubby picked up a red pair of custom-fit shades where you can actually choose the type of lens and frame. The gentlemen who was assisting us was awesome. He was friendly and very knowledgeable of all Oakley shade products. We came at the right time where there was a special $10 back for every $50 spent! This was a simple stop, very specific and a bit of a splurge. I finally got my hands on my custom three piece SF Giants official frames, complete with extra sleeves, extra colors in clear, smoke, polarized of course, and fire orange to complete the Flak jacket look. And I absolutely love being covered in orange and black, so what better way to compliment the gear, the hat, and the eye black other than the official SF Giants XLJ's? The orange and black lines on the Flak are smooth, deliberate, and eye-catching. The SF on the frames lets everyone know that you mean business, because you're wearing officially licensed gear, sponsored by the MLB, and a mere $200 bucks, (sans everything else I added) to support my G-men? Come on, anyone whose known me for two seconds knows that's nothing compared to what I drop in a season for my team! In general, stop by and try the Oakley experience. The best part is, if you're a government employee, you enjoy special rates and I am very appreciative of that. I have been needing a new pair of sunglasses for quite some time now. After searching for reliable stores with top of the line shades, I found Oakley. I went into the store with my buddy, who was only there to support me and help me find my right pair. Upon entering the store, we were greeted with a warm welcome by Jackson. He gave us all of his attention and efforts and within 5 minutes, he had over a half dozen different pairs for me to look through that I was interested in. After some discussion and small talk, he helped me pick the new Sutra style frame that looked amazing. This place kind of sucks. They have most of their glasses in cases so you have to get help to try them on. I understand loss prevention but this is annoying. They have a bunch of clothes but they're all expensive and silly. Then when someone does finally help you, it's some apathetic dude that clearly doesn't really want to help you. I feel bad that I didn't get the name of the person that helped me, he went over the top to make sure I got the right pair of sunglasses and I definitely recommend this place for anybody who's interested in buying quality sunglasses. I didn't need to ask for help and he took the initiative to grab different pairs of sunglasses for me to try on, made sure they were in stock as well as recommended a few pairs that were better for my face structure. So much better than sunglass hut who not only ignored me but just stood there and chatted, which is fine because ray bans sunglasses were not really worth the dollar anyways. I do agree with the previous reviews about the glass display cases...it is not a pleasant shopping experience to have to bug the staff to open cases every time you want to see a pair of shades. Brian the manager helped me with some new nose pads on the titanium aviator cop style glasses I bought at the beginning of the year. I appreciate the fact that he came out and made sure I was happy and in turn once again I will be a repeat customer .... Probably have bought 22 pair since my first job at 16 and had to have the "oakleys" it's been 20 years .... All other brands give me headaches with long periods of wear out in the sun so well worth the $ when comfort and health are priority #1. Okay so I was having an issue with a part on my Oakley prescription glasses that I bought at a different store. After a little digging it because very obvious that this was not going to a easy fix and was going to take significant time to remedy. I was directed to the Oakley retail store as a last effort before I was relegated to calling the customer service line and navigating that quagmire. It was here that I met Brandon and Nate. Both went above and beyond to fix the issue and long story short what could have been a 2 month long process was fixed on the spot. I am now able to see through my glasses once again. My expectations were surpassed in a way, by Brandon specifically, that is very rare nowadays. Who ever is his manager better take care of him cause I am going to sic my recruiter on him, and she is very good. it is hard to find people that care and understand customer service to that level. my review hmm .. what do i have to say about this store . i am satisfied =) so let me explain my story. this past weekend i went up to reno for ribfest and i was wearing my favorite pair or oakley sunglasses called the holbrooks they are custom only can get done at the oakley store .they are flat black and have polarized lenses. so on my trip up to reno that night i realized that i was missing a small little plastic point or nipple on my sunglasses,, so the first thing that came across my mind was *sigh* this sucks my 205$ glasses (rounded off ) is missing a piece and it looks like total sh*t. I felt so bumped I thought about going back to the actual store where i had purchased them from which was in Stoneridge mall in Pleasanton. Wow i as far away from that specfic location haha. Anyways good thing i had a friend that rides road bikes with me and he mentioned something about getting new oakley like mine called Radars. So for some reason we searched up oakely in sacramento and found out that they were loacated in the mall. Our last day we decided to acutally go to Arden mall located in sacrament. of course we had to go to the oakley store.Here is where i found the first person on the floor he appaeretly was on the phone and at the register at the time. SO i waited and then he helped me he said How can i help you . By the way his name is Brandon. So then i showed him my sunglasses and told him that i had bought them 2-3 months ago and he said O you have to take this and handle it through customer service. At the time he was looking for the phone number throught customer service and the first thing that came across my mind was wow this freaking sucks.and if i remember correctly i had said wow THIS SUCKS ! i dont think i really meant it but wen i did say it Brandon actully heard me and tried making eye contact with me about it but i was too bummed out about shipping my glasses throught customer service. So while browsing through the store with my gf and my frriend and his gf he came across the same sunglasses that i have and made up his mind about it. So while my friend is finallizing with his decisons Brandon walks over to where i am at and asks me for my glasses I say ok and then he reaches in the cabinet and pulls out the same model glasses Flat black with regular non polarized lenses, he then starts pulling the lenses off both glasses and takes my frame and just gives me a new frame and puts back my lenses. he then said dont even worry about it he told me what his name was and also said please come back i will glady help you. AFter he gave my glasses back i kept thinking about what he had did. He told me to take the glasses through customer service but then he switched out the frame with antoher frame and all he said was hey please come back here again. sorry my review is a lil confusing but i hope you get the picture this store in arden mall has really made my day i just want Brandon to kno that he is awesome and he has great customer service skills. he made my whole entire trip to reno worth it. i just want Brandon to be recognized for his work thank you read more
