Let me just start of with, this place is expensive. The did have a sale on jewelry and accessories when we were there so they do have minimal sales. I asked and was told that the Jeans don't go on sale and I don't believe the other clothing goes on sale. So be prepared to dish out some money when you shop here. Initially we just came in to browse, but then I saw the miss me jeans and couldn't stop looking at them. The sales associates picked up on this and offered to pull some in my size. I let them know that I wanted short and midrise and she pulled a few out for me and suggested I size down. They also offered free hemming. I think they said free, either way the short ones seem to be the right length. I did and found a cute pair. I really like the design on the back pocket. She suggested I still size down another size as they stretch out. I went from a 26/27 to a size 24, which ended up fitting perfect. I liked the slim fitting jeans, but the length was a bit took long and looked bunchy. And my husband liked the boot cut ones so I got the boot cut ones as he'll be the one looking at me. He also thought they looked sexy on me so I got them. With out wanting to spend a ton of money these days as I just spent more money than I should have on our upcoming vacation I dished out $134.85 on a single pair of jeans. The most I've ever paid for an article of clothing. I really hope that I still love these jeans years from now and they still fit. Crossing my fingers that I don't loose or gain weight in the years to come. If you are looking for some nice jeans with bling on them I suggest miss me jeans. I buy a lot of jeans from this particular store, but for some reason, I got only one but a couple of shorts from this location and one of my shorts the tag came apart. When I talked to the manager, she told me to come in and for some reason, another she had a sales person approached me was not nice at all and she told me I can come in anytime and talk to her, but she had somebody else speak on her behalf. I will never come back to the store to buy any of my jeans and I think people should know what they're buying because some of the stuff is defect. I'm literally writing this from my car because this absolutely needs recognition! I came here to Buckle on my day off with this notion that I would maybe spend an hour or two trying to find a pair of pants and just be so lost. I have recently lost over 50lbs and just don't know what style or size I am anymore. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a girl named Valery. I told her my situation and she eagerly became my personal shopping assistant. She went above and beyond by gathering cute outfits from throughout the store and styling them for me in the fitting room. She checked on me throughout my fitting session, and gathered other sizes or shoes to go with outfits so I could have an idea of what everything looked like. The entire store was perfectly kept, had a nice variety of everything, and the staff was amazing. Needless to say, I left very happy and a little poorer because I bought a few really nice outfits. Hubby and I haven't visited any mall in years... but needed to hit Arden for another store. We walked the whole mall and saw Buckle. Hubby has a few things catch his eye so we went in to look around. I'd never seen this store before... and we honestly didn't purchase anything... so my review isn't regarding that. We were immediately greeted by employees. I noticed two men and a woman working. All 3 were genuinely outgoing and engaged in their work (3/28/23) Unfortunately, that's impressive. Because These days... I see the opposite. The store had great music, displays were great, and the place was clean. Again, had another employee pass by us near the back of the store and he asked if we needed anything. I ordered a pair of shorts online and went to pick up my order here. I was helped by a wonderful sales person named Erika. She was friendly and helpful. I also tried on a shirt there but they didn't have my size so I ordered one in. My size. I came back a week later and Erika greeted me by name when I walked in. I mean that's pretty much amazing when she had only one interaction with me. Buckle you have an amazing employee here that's why I gave you a 5 star rating. One person can make a difference. I bought two pairs of bell bottoms about a month ago at Buckle. I spent $177.00 dollars no the jeans and a pair of earrings. I was reluctant to post this because I have a life, and a busy one at that. But here it goes.... I went into Buckle because I spotted some really cute bell bottoms in the window. I hadn't owned a pair in a long time so I thought I would treat myself. I entered the store, before I could make sense of everything, I was approached by the supervisor, who was white and her name started with "R". She was very friendly to begin with. She overwhelmed me with attention however, and it became clear to me that she was mocking and playing with me after a while. She was not aware that this was clear to me. I tried on several pairs of jeans and came to two pair that I liked. The supervisor brought another employee into the charade to play and toy with me. The insinuation was that I was not Black enough. The undertones were clear, and I was in the store for about 35 to 40 minutes. The supervisor was white, and the other employee was half white. So they were having fun with me. One of the things the employees found surprising and amusing is that my name is Anne, which is regarded as a "White" name, and not Black, they were very foolish not to just let this fact slide, I have been named Anne for 39 years, and am very aware of how my name can be perceived. I'm not going to get into all of the details here, but I will be contacting customer service today so that they are both spoken too. Unfortunately, many non-black young people believe that if a Black person speaks a certain way, carries herself in a more conservative manner, that we are somehow "not Black". This is an exceedingly inappropriate and stupid observation for any non-black employee who makes $11.50 an hour to make. You should not trust your instincts at this pay level. Or your intellect. It is not smart as a non-black person to think, rather, to prefer, I contact your employer and threaten your job and means of income, since I don't fit the angry black woman stereo-type and I am not aggressive and I do not fit the ghetto black woman stereotype. What they were doing to me, was punishing me for not being aggressive. So now here I am, making it difficult for either of them to pay their car note and keep their lights on, and this is what they would prefer. And they don't see that I truly am an angry black woman?? Lol! Additionally, Black people are unified, that means, the Black people you may believe to be Ghetto or aggressive are my family. So your in a lose-lose scenario when you mess with customers. These two individuals should have stuck to protocol and treated me with regular attention, without the insinuations, especially in this highly political and racially driven climate. The last time I shopped at Buckle was about two years ago. I purchased a bedazzled Forth of July inspired hat, I had a great time that summer, and when the rhinestones fell off, I bought it again when I saw it at Nordstrom Rack. You should never ever, mess with people; you don't have any idea who you could be messing with. Lastly, Buckle is a very nice store, but it is very specific in terms of its demographic, it cannot be doing very well during the CORONA-VIRUS. If I make a $177.00 purchase as a customer of any color during these times when business are closing left and right, it would behoove the Store Manger whose name begins with "R" to ensure that each custom is comfortable and makes a purchase. She probably doesn't know what "behoove" means, and most certainly does not understand that while she is employed full time during the CORONA VIRUS, Buckle as a store is not doing as well as it could be and she is supposed to protect this, and make selling clothes more important than what her pea-brain mind observes about the customer. read more

I decided to purchase some tops from Buckle online which was a huge step for me because I NEVER shop online. As a curvier woman I always have trouble finding stuff that fits correctly and somehow all 3 tops that I purchased online fit perfectly! After receiving my online order, I decided to check out the store for the very first time. Upon entry I was greeted immediately by a staff member who complimented my outfit and made it a point to continue the conversation with me as I shopped. She even helped pick a few things out for me based on what I was looking for! For being a mall store, I was very impressed at how similar my shopping experience was here as it would be in a local boutique. I actually do shop here alot and am a card member here! There are actually alot of good things to be said about the buckle. First, the jeans do fit just perfect. The waist is mesured in inches which I am highly greatful for. My waist runs between sizes 23 short and 24 short. Sometimes I take a size 22 short depending on the time of year. I have never had an issue here finding jeans. Usually they are too big in the waste or drag on the floor which is not pleasant at all. If a pair of jeans is just alittle to long, they do have a taylor there that can adjust anything for free. The store always has a good selection in tops as well. I wear a size xs and have never had an issue finding decent tops here too. The shoes are prettybreasonable and ive found some good ones from time to time. The store is always well stocked and clean. The sales associates are usually attentive and will order anything for you if they dont have your size in stock. I deffinatly have returned to many buckle stores through the years and found the perfect daytime casual looks here. The only bad part about shopping here is kissing my paycheck goodbye! read more

I have been shopping at the Buckle at Arden Mall for years and have always loved the customer service and products but I was appalled by the treatment received by Samantha who rushed us at the door demanding a mask. I don't wear masks , I don't stand for tranny and someone taking my freedom of choice away , however if it's policy then provide a mask to your customers. She said nope. I like this store because they carry a large variety of shapes and sizes. They are very helpful and know the shapes and size fitting. Today I was out shopping with a friend and she wanted to go here for some new Miss Me jeans. Since I need a 37 inseam I was just going to wander around the store, but suddenly I found myself in the dressing room trying on a pair of jeans. The staff here is super friendly and really helpful. They really went out of their way to scour their whole shop to find jeans in my size. By the end of the visit I had tried on a half dozen pairs and took home a really comfortable pair of BKEs. Additionally they searched online and found several more pairs which will be here in a few weeks for me to try out. I can not recall the last time I had jeans which had the perfect length and fit properly :) This store will be my new brick and mortar location to check first for clothes that fit. read more

Not only is this my #1 favorite clothing store of all time but the staff here is always amazing. I don't know if they just hire the right people, train them the right way or a combination of both but they have always been exceptionally pleasant and helpful. My biggest gripe in clothing stores is the overall pushiness of the staff. At Buckle they find the perfect balance of giving you help and answering your questions without being overly pushy and aggressive. This is my #1 complaint in almost all mall clothing stores. The moment you walk in the door you instantly get a shadow! I love it that the store that carries all my favorite brands and styles also know how to treat their customers better than anyone else! Not sure what happened to this location in 2014 but geez I went from a really bad regular shopper to not wanting to even step foot in the store anymore. Staff is annoyingly pushy, rude, and insensitive. Buckles sales tactics are pathetic. What ever happened to just letting customers come in and shop and leave us the hell alone? I don't get it. From the minute you step in they hound you with hi how are you (like they really care!, what are you shopping for, what size are you, here I found this pile of crap for you, can I get you a room,and blah blah blah. *headache*! No woman likes to be asked by strangers (and loudly mind you) WHAT SIZE ARE YOU?!? Seriously? Then to have a male staff member argue outwardly about that statement set me over the edge. He seemed to beg to differ stating all women don't mind telling the whole store how fat or thin they are. Idiot! You don't get hound by one sales person you get hounded by 2,3, or even 4. Over it really. The prices suck half the time and the "sales" are pathetic...a dollar or two or three off the regular price doesn't constitute a "sale" for me. Wisen up Buckle! You are seriously driving people away with your approach to sell, sell, sell. Then to use the pushy sales tactics on kids as well pisses me off. Don't do that!
