I came to Oakley's twice. The first time, on a weekend afternoon, the line was backed up down the road and I didn't want to wait. I came back on a weekday afternoon and the wait was much shorter. I got an exterior wash with an undercarriage clean, and everything was under $20, which is a great price. I had gone to another place before and paid close to $30 for a similar wash. I was a little hesitant to try Oakley's because of some negative reviews, but my experience was positive. The service was good and the price was even better. I came here to wash my car and they did a fantastic job. I mean from the outside to the inside everything was cleaned phenomenally. They took their time and cleaned the doors the cup holders, between my seats, the armrests, even inside my trunk. I paid $64 for the full service and it was worth it 100%. read more

This is a great car wash for the price and quality of service. I almost didn't stop by because of all the horrific reviews, but I am glad I did and am writing this review to combat some of the negativity. For 40 bucks you get a very clean car inside and out. I signed up for the monthly subscription. Never had an issue and always pleased with the outcome. If I ever had an issue it would be one of three people I would inform, and the matter would be handled. First is the manager, then the lovely lady at the register, lastly it would be the guy who provided receipt when you select service. read more

Oakleys will leave your car looking like it had a full detailing job; their "Rebound" wash is by far the best value. Very thorough cleaning inside and out. Once in awhile an interior panel might get missed during the wipe-down, but for the price and the turnaround time (assuming it's not a sunny day where everyone is out), it's hard to beat. read more

I've come various times to this location over the years. Not my fave. My car is often still dirty, and I have had oil streaks on my car from what I am assuming are dirty dry towels being used. I have never been impressed but in a pinch it has been convenient. However, I came to wash my car at 7pm. I have never been here that late. I got my car onto the track & was then told that it was cash only. I did not know. The worker was very rude. I apologized & told him I would leave. He told me that I had to go through. I told him there was only ONE car behind me & she wasn't on the track so if she reversed a bit I could leave. He told me he would not allow me to leave, & that I HAD to go through. Because I did not have cash, he forced me to leave my drivers license, which he informed me he would return it when I brought back cash. I was then forced to drive WITHOUT MY LICENSE around town until I found an ATM. (I am not from the area so I did not know where to go). The worker was extremely rude & remarked that there were signs upon entry that said it was cash only. While that is true, it was dark outside, the signs are on the ground (not on the board where pricing is), and very difficult to see if driving a higher vehicle like mine. Never again. Horrible. Besides, its 2024, who doesnt have electronic devices for when customers are using credit cards? This wouldve never happened if he simply allowed me to reverse out. Instead, I was basically held hostage & my ID taken. Its ILLEGAL TO ASK FOR A DRIVERS LICENSE TO HOLD IT HOSTAGE. ILLEGAL. Read the reviews. Multiple ppl did not see the sign. Do better. read more

I moved to New York in 2006 and this is the only place I have my car cleaned. The employees are trustworthy and I have never heard a complaint. My car is always cleaned properly and I receive complaints on the wash inside and out from everyone. They have snacks, auto accessories and little kid toys for sale. My 5 year old enjoys coming along and I'm in and out in about 20 minutes. read more

I used to come here often, recently went and paid $26 to have exterior and interior of my car cleaned. They didn't move any of my stuff to clean the car. My cleaning was supposed to include mat cleaning, however the mat wasn't cleaned. I have a baby who spilled milk on my mat and it was still there after cleaning. Since they didn't touch anything they didn't notice that my seats needed to be wiped. My dogs lick marks all still on the passenger side door and later found some French fries still in my car. I don't know what's happened to this place but the quality has gone down significantly. I could have went with the cheapest cleaning option since the inside wasn't being cleaned which was actually the only reason I stopped by. I called over an employee to get my mat properly washed and the seats at least wiped down but to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. read more

I left Queens NY to have me car washed at Oakley's not my first time using their services before so I thought nothing about taking the ride, because my last experiences I was satisfied now my car wasn't filthy but a lot of brake dust on my rims and bird crap from my car sitting for over a week, anyhow I puli up the place is packed as I expected order the Fast Break one of the services excludes wheel shin so the cars washed drive off because as the cars come out the wash there's no place to park and detail until a car pulls off. So I drive off find a place not to far to do a visual inspection and to my surprise my rims still have break dust tail pipes aren't clean. I was time restricted couldn't go back was totally relaying on my past experiences with Oakley's to get my car clean I guest the place has fallen off that's why I gave a 2star rating. I use to come here for years brought a lot of cars in this spot and just recently they have been very inconsistent . I always get the all star with the leather seats treatment it's almost 100$! which is not a problem but when I tell you they put little to no effort in cleaning any of the visible dirt and when I brought it up to the crew member he sucked his teeth and said "it's not a detail" . the other crew member tried helping . but to control myself from cussin out the other member decided to leave . never again ! Once you get to the front of the line, the guy tells me that that price is only for the evening hours and the charge is actually $14. I know how to read so afterwards I went back and re-read the sign to be sure I hadn't missed something and it's plain as day, $9.18. Brought my car there and picked their Rebound service and they NEVER really cleaned the inside. In the lining of the door frame and trunk there was still dirt. Even the dashboard was still rusty. So upon exiting the car wash track, I felt a deep grind on the left side around the wheel area but I didn't think much of it because I've felt a similar sensation with the wheels touching the rubber. But when i got home and inspected the wheel, I saw this deep gash. I contemplated going back to make a case but I know they will deny it. I used to go to Oakley Car Wash in Yonkers all the time. Today I went in for an exterior wash for $16.00. Afterwards, the lower half of the car had not been cleaned on one side. Some thing or some one "dropped the ball" on the car's run through -- this fail reminded me why I don't use Oakley as much any more. read more

They didn't vacuum ANYTHING except the mats themselves. I removed everything out the car so they could do that. They didn't even bother. Almost let me drive off with giant bird poop stain on front windshield. Had to ask them to wipe it down for me after they were "done." Left salty streaks in the back windshield inside and out. Cup holders and doors in the inside not clean at all. They basically rushed through the job - that's after I waited 40 minutes in line just to get the wash done. Tried to call several times - no answer. 48 hour guarantee falls on Christmas even so unclear h til when they will be open. BTW, 24 hour guaranteee only applies selectively to SOME washes. Customer service rude as hell and says "there is a sign out there".... when I couldn't find one they said "oh well too bad." Won't give me owner info or who to contact. Do NOT waste your time here.
