I came to this pharmacy to pick up a prescription for my mom that her doctor had put in at least…read moreone day--possibly two--before my pickup mission. The tech said that she had one of the prescriptions ready and when I asked how long for the second, she said it could be an hour or two. Now, I don't know how a pharmacy works; I don't know how they fill prescriptions. But it seems clear that it's not per patient or in the order received since they had the pills, but just hadn't filled the prescription. A day or two later I went to pick up prescriptions for mom and they had one of the prescription ready but not the second. The pharmacist overheard and said that he was in the process of filling the second so it would be a few more minutes, so I waited, got them both, and left. When I got back home and mom looked at them and that's when we learned the prescription the Rite Aid app said was ready for pickup was not amongst those that they gave me. When she called the next morning to ask if it was ready and why it was not there when I went yesterday, she was told that they have until the end of the day to fill them. But that doesn't make sense--why would you say it's ready when it wasn't just because you have until day's end? It's not actually ready for pickup then, is it? Also ridiculous is that they sometimes just close the drive-up window. I went last night a little more than an hour before closing and there was a hand-written sign saying "drive-thru closed". I went in last night since they'd done that, but this morning when I went to see if that missing prescription was ready the drive thru was still closed, this time 1.5 hours or so after they opened. I couldn't go in this time since I had a sick child with me, so I'm going to have to make a third trip. The service is unbelievably bad; I'm not really sure why it takes them so long to fill a prescription, or why they don't have ready what they say they do, but this isn't the place that I would choose for my prescription needs. Besides the ridiculous pharmacy, I don't understand how they're still in business. There's almost no merchandise in this store. That's not hyperbole--entire aisles are practically bare, so what are they selling? Do they make that much on prescriptions? Avoid at all costs. There are at least a couple independent pharmacies around, such as Hirons and there's also Track Town Pharmacy, so why not support local business instead?

They wanted me to wait until after their lunch break because it would take them too long to count out the 90 pills apparently. They asked if I wanted to wait for them or come back. Why would either of those options be a good choice? Would I need to wait to let their food settle too? Plus they said my Rx out loud which isn't the first time they have done that. This makes me extremely uncomfortable as it feels like an incredible breach of privacy. I do not feel comfortable having other customers know what I need to pick up. I will be changing pharmacies after this. Edit to add: my husband called in to make sure the Rx were filled so we didn't have to drive across town again and they refused to fill them until they could verify the insurance. They kept asking for a bin number but refused to accept the group and members ID along with insurance name. Not sure what they do when people don't have insurance.. most frustrating experience ever.

They claim they never received it from the doctor. I drove back to the doctor's office and got a hard copy only to have the doctor show me the confirmation that BOTH were sent this morning. I came back to Sisters Drug and handed the copy directly to them. After waiting in line yet again, the lady behind the counter tells me "they still haven't sent it in." Ummm...I handed it directly to you a few minutes ago!! For the love of Pete?! I know they're busy with a lot going on but how inept are they? You don't remember me handing up a piece of paper literally moments ago?! I asked if they could please rush it as I was supposed to start taking them this morning. I was told it would be at least 30+ minutes. I asked to speak with the pharmacist, a manager, someone who could actually assist me. The pharmacist comes to the counter and says he can put it to the front of the line & the receptionist says it already is. I ask, "the front of the line is still going to be 30+ minutes?" What a joke of an organization. If I had any other choice I'd run there now. Unfortunately, I don't have the means to drive to Redmond or Bend. SISTERS DRUG IS SUBPAR AT BEST. I am so grateful that they are still in business if only a shadow of what they once were. They are the only pharmacy left in town and they TRY. I have driven the 20 miles to the next closest pharmacy and had the same experience there that Andie C had in Sisters, except that I was left with the choice of driving 40 miles home and back or hanging out in another town with nothing to do but wait for the pharmacists to catch up.

The staff at the drive up window are courteous and professional. We've had no issues with this pharmacy and they do a great job. Some of their customers have a problem with following the rules. Theirs a sign posted that says "two cars at the drive up". Some seem to have issues with the sign and block the pedestrian walkway and cars blocking the pathway into the property.

I've gone here to pick up a prescription and for a Covid booster shot. The prescription was quick and easy. The booster shot took a bit more time than I expected. I called to get an appointment time but when we got to the store-20 minutes early-there were a number of other people waiting. The gentleman giving the booster shots was called to the drive-thru window so he was running here and there. It took an hour past my appointment time to get in and out. It would have been good to have him only working the appointments. But all places seem to be short staffed these days. This Walgreens is clean, well stocked and service is good. I will definitely be back!
