A really nice giant square room with wooden tables, concrete floor and lots of glass. Everyone sits in this large space quaffing some great brews. My current favorite is the Two Planker. Had a chance to visit with some friends there twice. Pretty hard to carry on a conversation with a band going. The first night featured an amplified washboard band, and the second night was an acoustic band, again amplified. Both were just too loud given the acoustics. Which is the only reason I took off one star. This is one more in a line of new brew pubs where there is no acoustical treatments. During a recent weekend trip to Eugene we stopped at a few breweries and Oakshire Brewing was definitely our favorite. The bartenders were extremely helpful and offered us some fantastic suggestions, all of which we loved. They have a great patio seating area for warm days, which made our visit even more awesome. MediOkshire They have a ceiling fan that seems useless... like the beer. They have some stylish clientele, although a bit old and difficult to compliment. Beer was as cold as it was flavorful, which is to say not at all. I felt a lack of emotions that I haven't felt in years, but this more to do with the company than the establishment. Best brewery in town (in my humble opinion)! They have a great selection of standard beers but it's their "Single Batch" beers that are really a treat, and they rotate often so it pays to visit regularly. They also have the best Corny Keg filling station of any of the other "big" breweries in town and will fill your Corny can from open-7pm (though if you ask nicely they'll even fill it much later, which is great if your kegerator runs dry on a party night). The staff are all pleasant and the Public House has a very friendly feel about it. They have a rotating food cart on most evenings, along with live music on the weekends. Behind the Public House is also "Burgers On The Run", which have the best fast food style burgers in town and will bring them to you as you drink a beer at Oakshire. read more

I like to order an Espresso Stout on Nitro and work from here from time to time. Very chill vibe, good beers, and a nice staff. A true Eugene gem. Pro tip: Get yourself over to Izakaya for appetizers and a Whiskey Ginger, walk to Ninkasi for a pint, then finish your night at Oakshire when the Pizza truck is out there. Let me open by saying I mourn the old location at times, sunny days by the tracks... start up vibe. Good times. Having said that, the tasting room is pretty much exactly what I want out of a local brewery. Simple. They have the atmosphere right. I think one TV, "unplugged" music, smaller space, great seating. some outdoor space. The talk and the feel is very casual and relaxed here. No problems with service. If we are going to talk about beer, though let's do that. Hands down my favorite local brews. I am never dissapointed.The classics such as Ill tempered gnome, line dry rye, watershed IPA, O 'dark 30 and of course Hellshire along with amazing seasonal and special releases. Not the largest selection in town but solid and each offering feels like it belongs there. Another big plus is that they are sponsors of Lane UFC and supporters of the beautiful game in general. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the food. They don't have food, but they offer some Tim's Cascade chips , but not really anything else. I usually bring my own food , we pick up a whirled pie on the way , and you can bring your own food like that, or have it delivered from the list they have on hand of places that deliver. The staff appears to love working there. How awesome is that? I sampled several beers and liked every one of them. Ordered and drank two pints of the four I tasted. My wife enjoyed both of her beers. Usually brewpubs have too many overly hopped beers and ales but Oakshire is now my best beer buddy along with McMenamins. HIghly recommended on all counts including, brewskies, ambiance, food, service and wait staff. A+ read more

This place seems open and friendly until you try to redeem a beer token and the girl looks at you like you're robbing them! Geeze I was just given the token at a morning yoga event and didn't feel like a beer that early but who says it was redeemable in like one hour or you can toss it to the scrap pile! Not nice...even having given books to the book drive...well there are too many better breweries in town to cry over this one! And the trucks? Not open twice out of three tries! Yikes! Ive enjoyed several of Oakshire's excellent beers, including Watershed IPA and Perfect Storm Imperial IPA, and finally drove up to visit there public house.......The double red on cask was great, really hoppy but smooth thanks to warmer serving temp and lower carbonation, and the Barley Wine style Ale was a real nice surprise. Bartender knew his beer well, and it's a pleasant, friendly place to enjoy a beer. A really creative brewery that is on top of there game! read more

Beer = watery and flat. Was passing through Eugene on a road trip and was excited to try this brewery after reading all the great reviews.
