Very good beer and food! The pretzel with beer cheese and Dijon mustard was delicious! I had the burger and my husband had the chicken sandwich. Both were delicious. The bun was so fresh! We both added the salad and it was worth it! The croutons on the Caesar were delicious and the ranch dressing on my salad was so good! Service was great and very friendly and the atmosphere was great as well! We are from California and if we come through here again we will definitely stop. I even bought a shirt. What a great place. Small. Off the main drag. Unassuming. Street parking is challenging, and they have a small lot across the street. There is plenty of seating and places to watch TV. There is also a view of the brewery in the back. The guy at the bar was very engaging and helpful. I was disappointed they only had one IPA, but it was good. The food menu is good, too, and he said it is developing. I need to spend some more time here and work my way through both menus. read more

A somewhat hidden gem in Eugene. It's now my must go to place when visiting. Not only is the beer delicious but the food is outstanding. Obvious care is taken to sourcing the ingredients and the flavors are on point. The pretzel is perfect and paired with one of the best beer cheeses I've had. On top of that the mustard rivals any other, so make sure to get both the beer cheese and mustard. Despite just stopping for a snack and drink we also had some salad, an app plate with hummus, and some tomato bisque. I'll need to get them all again and find room to try the rest of the menu. I'd come here for the beer and atmosphere alone, so the great food is a huge perk. Don't get discouraged finding parking which can be tricky. Just try harder :) read more

I loved stopping in this afternoon to watch a Copa America match and have a half pint of cider. For one, Chris (I hope I'm remembering his name correctly) was super willing to put the game on a different TV when the sun was lighting up the other one too brightly to see - what a champ. Thanks, Chris! For another, the beer list is short and sweet, and has something for everybody. Their very bitter west coast IPA was delicious from the sample I tried, but being in the mood for something crisp, my husband and I opted for the two apple ciders on offer. High praises for these brews, and especially the apple cider, which my husband said tasted just like the west country ciders he had back home in the UK. Great food as well as beer. Comfortable community space with long picnic tables and open space. I've been twice now and unfortunately can only speak to the chicken pesto sandwich which I had twice. Because of its goodness. So often grilled sandwiches are greasy on the bread adding to unnecessary calories (although tasty). I appreciate the grilled bread being dry and the fresh flyovers of the sandwich holding its own place. I added the sweet potato cheese beer soup to the second visit. It was gourmet in its presentation and taste. Really first class! The space is chilly which is my only downer but that's speaking as an Arizona girl in Oregon in November! In particular, the Hop Galaxy is epic. If you like hops at all then this goes on your must-try list immediately. Very busy, but we were helped immediately and our server/bartender was really nice and attentive. My husband got the Juicy Wally Wally IPA, which he really enjoyed, and I got a newly tapped sour called Daddy Said I Could Have a Unicorn. I had sampled another sour, a chocolate porter, and a blonde, all were good but I just wasn't feeling them. I took a chance on the sour I ordered based off seeing it's gorgeous color on a nearby patrons tasting tray and was VERY happy I did!! The atmosphere was great; music loud enough you felt like you could talk without being noticed but not so loud you can't hear the conversation. Looks like there's an area for live music also. We also loved the openness and seeing the brewing area. We didn't get food only because we weren't hungry but it sounded really good!! I was thoroughly impressed by Gratitude. They took over Sam Bond's brewery location. I had their juicy IPA as well as a sour and both were very tasty. I was very pleasantly surprised by their food. I was with a group of friends and we shared the nachos and papas bravas. For my entree I had their steak salad. All of the food we had was very delicious. The friendly and great service was the cherry on top of the sundae. The only negative is parking can be a bit of a beast but other than that this is a great addition to Eugene's food and beer scene! read more

It was a cold and rainy Saturday and we wanted to visit somewhere new, chill, and delicious. Gratitude delivered on all their fronts. Before I get to the beer I HAVE to talk about their Mushroom Bruschetta. Simply Amazing. A perfectly prepared melody of mushrooms with very crisp and thin pieces of toast. The employee suggested we order extra bread and I'm glad we did because that first serving was inhaled immediately. If this is any example of their menu then it's a good one. The beer was fine. We ordered a flight to try a selection of their offerings. We tried their mango sour, a hazy, an IPA, and darker beer. (I forgot to get the names of each one as I was distracted by yummy mushrooms). Again, the beer was fine. This was out first outing after going through Dty January so it has been a while since we have had any taste of beer. There were four of us and we all ordered food after getting our drinks. 3 of our meals came out and she said the second set of nachos would be right out. My daughter ordered cheese pizzetta with cheese roll ups. She was served a hot dog with kettle chips. When I spoke up about it I was ignored and our server walked away. I waited ten minutes and finally had to go up to the counter where I was ignored for about 5 minutes before someone acknowledged me and I told him my daughter was brought the completely wrong order. Meanwhile, my husband still had not gotten his nachos that would "be right out." The cheese pizzetta came out and my daughter loved it. Still no nachos. Really really really tasty beer. I went before COVID but after, their hours shifted. I think their hours are somewhat back to regular so I highly recommend this place. The location doesn't do this place justice but the atmosphere is nice and the bartender was really cool and knowledgeable. This place is great! First, the beers are some of the best in town, which is an achievement in a city like Eugene. My recommendations are the You Cannot Have the Mango (possibly my favorite sour ever), the Hummingbird Porter, and Lovin' It Out West. We had a couple of sampler trays between us and there wasn't a single beer I wouldn't be pleased to drink again. The food is also excellent. I'm a bit of a nacho snob and theirs are unique, well-balanced, and have been on my mind since I left. Their poke is delicious and beautifully presented. The kids offerings are perfect; we opted for a cheese pizza that was creative without being off-putting for picky palates, and came with two sides including warm potato chips.
