They also do a great job of walking you through everything and helping set up the card for the beer wall. I absolutely love that they have a featured local brewery every month and even the beer tea bag is from that brewery! Sanitas had this AH-MAZING cranberry black currant sour that I could drink for days. The beer therapy room was extremely clean and gave the perfect vibe. WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW!!!! Where do I even begin?! I am just blown away. This was the coolest experience of our life and I can promise you there is nothing like this anywhere else in the United States. We got to meet both owners while we were there and they were so friendly and down to earth. We were shown the facility before we headed into our room and just wow. Have I said wow?? I am going to break this down by service. Drinks: The beer bar was incredible. Each tap has 2 beers to choose from and they are all vastly different from a cider to an espresso stout. They are all Colorado beers and I love that they kept it local. If you don't like beer they have an alcoholic-free kombucha and wine. We did the package with the champagne so we also had champagne waiting in our room. Spa Room: We didn't really know what to expect when we walked into our room and we were totally blown away. The most romantic, self-healing, incredible experience of our life. We started 20 minutes in the sauna and sipped on our beers. After the 20 minute sauna we hopped in a 20 second cold shower. Both of these are in your private room so you are not walking throughout the facility but in your own room. Then we spent the remainders of the 90 minutes in the bath. In your room they have an amenity bar where you can try and take and they add it to your tab. We did the CBD bath bomb and CBD face mask while in the tub and soaked up all the hopps goodness from their pre-blend. I also used the hair mask since after the bath we had another 20 minutes to be able to get back together. Anti-Gravity Massage: After our room we freshened up in their get ready area, refilled our drinks, and then did a 20 minute ant-gravity massage which again, was unlike anything I've ever experienced. It hit all areas and was the coolest, most relaxing experience. We both fell asleep!! Staff/Facility: Wow everyone here was so friendly, accommodating, and just made us feel like a million dollars. The facility was spotless and they diffuse this custom essential oil that was soooo good. Thankfully they made it into a candle and soup because it was the best smell ever. My fiancée surprised me for my birthday and we always choose to have a hint or go without - I went without and what a treat this place is. What can I say? I don't have a single negative thing to comment on except the sketch neighborhood this place shares. Although we felt safe though whole time, just know it's not in a "desirable" part of Denver (wherever that is). The hosts were great and attentive and pay attention to all of your needs. I'm sure they've been doing this a while but it felt like we were their first customers and were given every bit of attention. We loved feeling they heard us and were willing to answer every question. The beer on self-serve taps - it's good! They also offer beer alternatives, non-alcoholic options, and wine (which they should expand on because CO wine is not good). They change each month but if this is who they picked for one month I'm betting they do it all year-long. Excellent choices and definitely would visit the actual breweries they partner with. They also supply free snacks, which we all know is a must. The containers they provide for your beverage stay - repeat - ICE COLD during the first spa treatment in the sauna. Honestly it was over 140 and the drink felt straight from the freezer so no worries while you relax and sweat out the.. drink.. and other toxins in your life. The bath. OMG. I've never had such a great time. The water felt great, press a button for refills, and exfoliate. My skin never felt so soft. My only regret is that we didn't have more time. Not sure if they have extended experiences but the bath was everything and more. Honestly, $180 is not a bad price, nor is the 20% tip. I love when people assume what other people's jobs are and whether or not their perceived notion of other's jobs validate tips... but hey! We got a full tour of our spa space and recommended path of relaxation. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would love to return. There's no rush when you're done. You can hang out in their reception area and finish beverages, cool down, etc. The cancellation policy is rather ridiculous. I can't imagine what happened to them that they had to put this in place. Other reviews that mention this seemed to have valid reasons for needing to cancel. There has to be other options like non-refundable deposits or paying in full but being able to reschedule, some flexibility is needed. While I know that there are flaky people, life happens too. I actually really enjoyed the experience. I bought it for my husband for part of his Christmas gift. They did a great job of communicating leading up to our appointment on when to arrive and where to park. The place was clean and it was unique. The staff was pleasant. There were only two things I did not like. One, they fill the hot tub prior to your arrival. So if you go through the cycle as they suggest starting with the sauna and then a cold shower and then moving to the tub, the water is tepid and not what I would have expected and you can't add hot water. The other thing, is that they add 20% gratuity onto the bill which was shocking to me. It was an already expensive experience, but I had no idea going in that they would charge $60 tip (they did communicate well so maybe I missed that but I don't believe it was mentioned at the beginning). Don't get me wrong, I worked at a restaurant to put myself through college and I am always prepared to tip 20% for hair treatments, facials, massages etc. but this was not comparable to a spa treatment or a specialized service. I would have tipped on the drinks served, but it is not as if they gave a treatment or acted as a concierge. With that added in, I likely would not return and would get a couples massage at Woodhouse day spa for less money and a higher end experience. That being said, it was fine to do once! read more

So the Beer Spa: It cost us (with tip) $320. Money well spent!That was with one beer and one glass of wine. Beer samples are free. But you can pay by the ounce and drink as much as you want. So first you get the massage chairs, which are amazing! They massage every point on your body except your front. But it does your arms, legs, hands, even fingers, feet, back, shoulders, etc, and you can have as much pressure as you want. We had it on 3, but it goes to 5, and I could not have handled 5. When I say "massage", I mean like deep tissue! While it's massaging you, the chair lays you down, sits you up - moves you around like you're floating in space. You're in this dark room with twinkly lights on the ceiling and soft music. So that's 30 minutes. Then you try beer samples and they give you a mug so you can serve yourself. You pay by the ounce. Then you take your drinks and go into a private room, sit in an infrared sauna 20 min, then cold shower, then hot tub with herbs, then warm shower. It's a total of 90 minutes in the spa. The chair is an extra 30 min, but they are an add-on. Our price included the chairs. You can also go and just use the chairs for only $30. So if you don't want to spend $300, just go use the chairs! To top it off, they have a shower to rinse off with their beer products and a separate room to get ready for drinks, dinner or wherever your night takes you. This luxe experience was delightful, but pricey. The pricing goes up in the summer season. For $159, you have access to the facilities, but you pay for ALL your beer. So, to me, the "all inclusive" pitch on their website does come with a caveat. There are additional $15-20 dollars add one you can request as well. We had such a lovely time! One of the most unique experiences we've ever had as a couple. The staff was so friendly, kind, and answered all our questions. The beer selection was great as well! We were greeted at the front door and given slippers to wear throughout the spa. We checked in and we're given wristbands with electronic cards on them to activate the beer tap wall in their lobby. We were shown how to use it and given Beer Spa tumblers to keep our beer cold! We were then shown to our private spa room where there was a sauna, shower, and tub! We were advised to sit in the sauna for 20 minutes, take a cold 10-15 second shower, and then jump in the tub! Inside the sauna, they have a bunch of laminated pages that have conversation topics and questions, which were great. The tub was wonderful and relaxing. I signed us up for the spa room + 30 minute massages and got a great deal from their Mother's Day gift card promotion. As I'm writing this my entire body still feels so incredibly relaxed. The staff greeted us and walked us through the beer wall (similar to First Draft), showing us how to pour and refill our tumblers throughout our experience. They partner with local breweries and offer a rotating selection of 10+ beers. We got to sample whatever we wanted before selecting too! For the spa room, a staff member explained the suggested order - 20 minute sauna, quick cold shower, 30 minute beer bath, full shower - and then let us to it. I was amazed at their extreme attention to detail: a sand hourglass timer to take in the sauna to know when to get out, robes AND sandals for wet feet, cubbies to hold your beer while you're in the shower and bath, and an entire vanity area with hairdryers, q-tips, deodorant, whatever you need to get ready after your experience. I wasn't sure what to expect with the massage chairs but they were full body, massaging and squeezing my entire back, feet, legs, arms. The room was serene and I felt like a new person after it was done! Highly recommend doing a full 30 minutes. I was so excited to finally get to experience The Beer Spa after hearing so many good things about it. I went recently for my birthday and was treated to an excellent experience! Walking into the beer spa you are greeted with slippers and are taken to their lobby where they explain to you how the spa works and how their drinks on tap work. They have many different drink options to choose from including beer, hard kombucha, and wine. You are also given your own beer koozie which keeps your drinks nice and cold. After waiting in the lobby, we were then escorted to our spa room and told about all the amenities. We started with their infrared sauna in which I could feel all my pores opening. It was also nice to pair the heat of the sauna with the cold beer. After the sauna we rinsed off in the shower and went into the jacuzzi that had water infused with hops and other florals and beer making ingredients. It was extremely relaxful! What is also great about the Beer Spa is that the staff will continue to refill you koozie when you finish your drink so you can try many of their different drink options. After about an hour the jacuzzi starts to drain and then you have the option to shower which I would recommend doing. After your time is done in your room you go their quiet relaxation area which is a nice peaceful way to end your experience. We also got a box of chocolates to enjoy with the birthday package. Overall, I was really impressed with the Beer Spa as you really did feel relaxed after spending time with their amenities! I came out of our 60min beer spa + 30min massage as a new woman. You go into an infrared sauna first, then take a cold shower, hop into the beer bath (which is the perfect temperature, I may add), sit in this perfect bath for 30+ minutes and then rinse using their incredible line of bath products. If you're considering adding the zero-gravity massage -- DO IT. They've made me want to buy one of these chairs for my own house. That thing was amazing. But let me tell you.. it was most definitely worth the wait! The Beer Spa is my new favorite spot in Denver and I cannot recommend them enough. When you arrive they give you a card and insulated beer cups so you can help yourself to their self serve taps. (They even feature a different local brewery each month.) The taproom is so cozy and inviting we didn't want to leave. The team there is so welcoming and incredible, we really enjoyed visiting with them. Then it was the fun part, we were led to our private Beer Therapy Room, where you have your own infrared sauna, shower and soaking tub. We then ended the evening relaxing in their zero gravity massage chairs. This place blew us out of the water. I took a Valentine's Day package from this place. They forced me to pay $91.15 tips and that's unacceptable. They are not kind enough to ask for tips, instead they forcefully include in your bill and you will have to pay for it. Me and my husband took additional 5 mins in the room as we were not given full instructions from any staff and they pushed us out of the SP's room to change ourselves in a toilet and they want us to pay a tip of $91.15 for such harsh service. I had a year end bonus points from company as $460. These folks made a forced deduction of $550 on my company card. While signing at the time of checkout, they will only show the actual cost and taxes. They will not show additional ~$100 tips. So, you will not be alerted until your credit card bill comes. Now, I am paying $91.15 on their tips and additional $100 fine for using additional amount on company credit card. It's not that we didn't tip them. We added 10% tips on the card that we can afford, but $91.15 tips was something we couldn't afford and they forced us to pay TIPS. Even after calling them and asking to reduce the tips coz we can't afford it, they refused to reduce the TIPS. What kind of establishment is this that they force tips on someone beyond what they want to pay. They can't afford to pay their employees proper salary to at they force people to pay extravagant tips. This is so cheap and desperate! What an indulgence! My SIL gave this to me for Mother's Day and I WILL NEVER forget it. We all need to do mindfulness, and to include this most relaxing experience that I have ever had. The staff was so pleasant and indulging. I thought I had gone to heaven. Do your self a favor and experience this care and do it for someone that you love. Spas are all about the experience and this place provided a great experience. While the spa service options are more limited, the options that are available are done with detailed finesse. From the keg shaped soaking tub, to the beer infused products and the variety of beverage options in the self-pour taps. The staff was great and made us feel welcomed.
