We got done and booked another 30 min of it and can't wait to come back. I wanted to give this place 5 stars but people should be warned about how they nickel and dime you! There are no real spa services being given here and they still expect you to tip 20% when we only had an employee bring us a round of drinks ONE TIME. The price for beer is pretty insane too (expect $20 pours). We were under the impression we'd be getting a massage and it ended up being a mechanical chair massage so we canceled that. They never brought us in the charcuterie board we ordered and still somehow got a $52 tip from us! The sauna and tub are great and they have a cute lobby area but it's all self service and way more expensive than going to a real spa to be pampered. Oh also you don't soak in a tub of beer!!!! We visited on the first weekend they were open. Service was wonderful and the experience was great. We booked an hour in a "beer therapy room," which is a private space with a sauna, shower and a hydrotherapy tub. The water in the tub is infused with hops and malted barley. An hour was a sufficient time, we didn't feel rushed and we didn't get bored. It was enough time for a full cycle (20 minutes in the sauna, a quick rinse in the shower and then a soak in the tub). The website recommends you get there 30 minutes early to enjoy the beer in the waiting lounge. That felt a little excessive to me, next time I'll probably aim for 10-15 minutes early. The beer is self-serve (if you've ever been to First Draft, it's the same system) and set up with tap "take overs," so most of it is from the same brewery. When we there it was six beers from Ratio Beerworks, a gluten free from Holiday, a cider from Stem and two wines from Infinite Monkey. It was a good selection of varieties (Ratio makes a great dunkelweizen). We had a discount for opening weekend, but even at full price it was a fun time and we'll definitely be back. read more

This place has almost 200 reviews with five stars and it's well deserved! I actually won a contest for a free beer spa experience but even without that prize my opinion would stay the same. It's appointment only and they book out really far in advance so definitely get on their site as soon as possible. There was complimentary parking and the staff that greeted us was SO NICE! Every single interaction was 10/10. Friendly and cheerful. They provide insulated drink cups for you to use. Now, the actual spa! You get your own private room with a sauna and hot tub. Also showers and sinks to clean yourself at. It has a very tropics relaxing vibe like you're in Tahiti lol. There's cup holders everywhere you look which is nice since you're sippin on a beer the whole time. I've never been a big fan of day spas because I feel like in terms of the spa experience you either get the all inclusive resort complex or a rinky dink day spa that is just not a good replacement for a quality hotel spa. Now, let me make you wish you were beer! We arrived at The Beer Spa and got checked in. The spa is a high-tech wellness space that combines a day spa and taproom into one. The Taproom features Colorado based breweries and does a monthly rotation of their beers on tap. In addition to the numerous beers on tap, the Beer Spa also offers cider, rosé, red wine, sparkling tea, kombucha, non-alcoholic craft beer, and other NA beverages (there is truly something for everyone to enjoy in the taproom). The Beer Spa's staff was uplifting and passionate about The Beer Spa (& beer in general!). Nick West - the Cicerone - elevated our beer experience with his wide-range knowledge of all the brews in the Taproom & beyond. Beer Therapist, Doug Idlett ensured we had everything we needed during our visit and seamlessly led us through our therapy session. Beer Therapist, Rikki Folger was attentive and friendly and helped us check in and out of The Beer Spa. While our Beer Therapy room was being prepared, we found our way to the beer taps. This month, the brewery featured in the Taproom was WeldWerks Brewery. I tried the Strawberry Rhubarb Sour Ale and the Juicy IPA. The Strawberry Rhubarb Sour Ale is one of my favorites from WeldWerks so this selection was a no brainer. The rhubarb and strawberry came together for a mildly sour and sweet flavor profile with moderate carbonation. So tasty and such an easy drinker. The Juicy IPA really surprised me as I generally don't like IPAs - but this one was delicious! The Juicy IPA is brewed in such a way that really milds the hops out making for a 'juicy' finish that is ripe with fruity complexity. I will definitely order the Juicy IPA again in the future. The Beer Spa serves their beer in temperature controlled tumblers that will keep your beer nice & chilly throughout your spa experience. There were complimentary snacks in the Taproom to munch on while we enjoyed our beers. After enjoying the Taproom for 15 minutes, we headed to our Beer Therapy room with our tumblers in tow. The Beer Spa offers several different treatments, services and or packages to select from when visiting. Ross and I went for The Date Night Package which allowed us to enjoy our Beer Therapy treatments with a romantic touch. Candles, rose petals, charcuterie, chocolates & a bottle of sparkling wine were waiting for us in our room. Our Therapy room & Date Night Package included the Infrared Sauna, a rain shower, the Beer Bath Hydrotherapy Tub, beverages, bites, and Zero Gravity Massages (which can be added on to any package for an additional fee). To begin our treatment, we detoxed in the infrared sauna for 20 minutes. The sauna allowed us to sweat out toxins and really opened up our pores. We sweated up a storm in the sauna - all about that detoxification - and it felt SO good! Following the sauna, we popped into the rain shower to cool down and to keep our blood flowing. It was nice to rinse off after getting so sweaty and utilize the Beer Spa's speciality beer shampoo, conditioner and body wash. After the rain shower, Ross and I spent time unwinding in the Beer Bath Hydrotherapy Tub. This bath was everything. A large tea bag of hops & barley soak in the tub making for a type of beer tea that is loaded with vitamins, nutrients, and antioxidants - all phenomenal to induce relaxation, reduce skin redness & inflammation and wash away toxins. While we soaked, we enjoyed our beers, sparkling wine & snacks. The Valrhona chocolates were little confectionery perfections! Following the Beer Therapy Room we were treated to Zero Gravity Massages in the Zero Gravity Massage chairs. The Zero Gravity chairs were OUT OF THIS WORLD. I have never experienced a massage chair like this and I can't wait to go back for another session. The ceiling was lit up with mezmerizing - space inspired - green & purple lighting with soothing water sounds and music playing. The Zero Gravity Massage Chairs tilted us back into neutral positions with our legs elevated and our weight evenly distributed. The chairs then gave us full-body massages using rollers and air compression that methodically kneaded, rolled and squeezed our bodies in all the right places. I felt like I was floating in space in a giant cocoon - the way the chair held and squeezed me felt like a big hug that hit all the right pressure points. We did the date night package which came with $30 drink credit, and a big suite with a shower, sauna and the tub, and they set up candles and rose pedals for us. We tried out the Date Night package at the Beer Spa in Denver the week after our wedding when we did a stay-cation, and it was so fun! The tap room is very instagramable with lots of delicious choices to drink, and the private rooms were very luxe with such cool features and style. We had a Valentine's Day reservation for today- overall we thought the facility was clean and relaxing. However, as we were checking out, our checkout experience was TERRIBLE. As we were checking out, we were given the option to leave a tip. I was satisfied with the service and I clicked the 15% tip button on the iPad and I signed for it. The beer therapist then turned the screen toward him and changed the tip to 20% WITHOUT my permission AFTER I had signed. The Beer Spa committed FRAUD right in front of me. Then when we asked him why he changed the tip without asking us, he said 20% gratuity is mandatory and is written on our contract/reservation. We thought that was weird, so we went back to our reservation email and it says "A recommended gratuity of 20% will be added at check-out, UNLESS specified otherwise." I feel that by clicking 15% on the IPad I specified that I do not want to leave 20% and I do not appreciate them changing the tip behind my back in a very sneaky manner. I have attached a screenshot of my contract/reservation as proof since the beer therapist stated the 20% gratuity is MANDATORY in my contract/reservation. Very disappointed in the service. Visit: 9/6/2021 I have been meaning to get on here and give The Beer Spa their flowers. This place was the highlight of my Denver trip. Upon arrival I was greeted promptly and guided through the spa process by my lovely beer therapist. They have taps right in the lobby which you are free to pour from while you soak (I think 24oz worth if I remember correctly). Each month a different local brewery is featured - while I was there it was Dry Dock. FANTASTIC. The spa rooms themselves are beautifully decorated. Each one has a tub for your hop-infused soak (mine was Ekuanot) , and infrared sauna, and rain shower. I loved the beer infused shampoo and conditioner they had so much I ordered some to be shipped back to Los Angeles. They have a very reasonable flat rate to do it too. Highly recommend making a visit here if you're ever in the Denver area! I know I will be back. Pro Tip: Pay the extra money for the zero gravity massage. It's a trip! read more

Honestly, the best experience I've ever had. My boyfriend and I came here on vacation after a couple of days of hiking. He loves beer and I love self care, so I thought this would be the perfect experience for us. He was nervous it was going to be gimmicky, but less than five minutes there he turned to me and said, "I've never been so blissful. This was the best thing you've ever found." The staff (ahem, beer therapists!) were so helpful and friendly. Everything had such thought and care put into it. We did the date night package, which included flower petals, candles, and Colorado made chocolate (which were delicious and devoured later that day). In the main room there's comfortable chairs and couches with different "Conversation Topics" cards, which were nice to start random conversations when you're hanging out. If you're thinking of adding the Zero Gravity Chair I would 100000% say to do it. Absolute bliss. In my every day life my brain never shuts off, there's just constantly *stuff* going on. The 20 minutes in that chair made my brain so amazingly quiet. It was SO relaxing and like no massage chair I've ever been in. They offer blankets, and you get gently rocked and massaged in the dark with calming music playing. Just spectacular. The worst part about this place is that it's a plane ride away from us. But we would absolutely consider going back to Colorado specifically for this. (Though, if you're the owner of the Beer Spa and are looking for an East Coast location I've been spreading the word for potential clients!) Just book it. This place is absolutely amazing. We spent a few hours here this past weekend and it was just as wonderful as it was the first time we were there this summer. The staff are fun, friendly, and knowledgeable. I don't even drink beer and yet I enjoy learning about the local drafts they offer. Our first experience was in the accessible room, #1. It offered a large sauna where two people could stretch out on separate benches. This time we were in room #3. That room had a smaller sauna with only 1 bench. The hot tub with a monthly mix of grains was lovely, if a tiny bit cramped for two people. But we like each other, so it was okay! The first time we also tried the massage chairs. That is one thing I would not do again. I simply prefer regular massages and I guesstimated wrong on how strong of a setting I should use. I'm used to deep tissue massages and even I was uncomfortable with the massage chair on setting 3 (from 1 to 5). The mood lighting was relaxing but made it hard to find the remote to try to decrease the massage intensity while being massaged. That's my fault for telling them a too intense setting when I was already in chronic pain. This is a pricey, yet indulgent experience. Highly recommend if you have $250 to spend for two hours of heaven. read more
