Went her for breakfast, it's a short walk from Stillwater. It was very busy but we were able to get a seat at the counter. It was very warm in there but something was wrong with their air so we roughed it out. The coffee was good and they serve it in a mush mash of coffee cups no one being the same. My husband had the Mac n Cheese pancake with sausage gravy. It sounds like the strangest thing but it was actually good. There was also bacon in it and it was a nice savory sweet combo. The pancake was the size of your head. The sausage gravy was so good I had to get a side of it for my meal. Always good service, customer service, delicious food served fast and conveniently located 2 blocks from the main drag in downtown Stillwater! The Asian fusion salad with coconut chicken is one of my favs....and the burgers have ground bacon in them which gives an extra kick of yum. My son enjoys playing tic tac toe in the mornings with the owner (if he were to win tic-tac-toe, he would get a free meal, but till this day that has never happened LOL). Must have ordered the wrong thing. Omelet was the worst I've ever had. Soggy bottom from the chopped tomatoes, overdone ham pieces (inedible), tough slivers of green pepper. Although I love the food at this place I am highly disappointed in their customer service.A few years ago we would order breakfast to go all the time and head to the river to eat. We did this many times without issue. We live about 20 minutes away so it isn't super close. Then last year when we would call on a weekend morning no one would even answer to take our order. I figured with covid last year it was just too hard to keep up but was disappointed since I craved the breakfast. Today I thought it would be nice to pick up breakfast for the hubby and I to enjoy at home. I called about three four and it would ring three times and then just hang up on me. Then I decided to just drive down there to order and take it to go since figured they were too busy to answer phone. I drove down and went to the front counter and asked if I could have a to go order. The waitress said "No I am sorry we can't take any to go orders this morning we are just too busy and our cooks have like a million orders" Seriously? That is pretty sad. Called and drove out of my way to support the place and still couldn't get a meal. I have never in my life heard of a place that won't take a to go order. If they aren't able to take to go breakfast orders on the weekend then they should indicate this on their website or at least have a voicemail that explains they are too busy to take any to go orders. Hello? Wouldn't that make sense? If you are thinking of getting breakfast here on a weekend to go or from out of town and seeing the great ratings maybe call first but good luck getting anyone to answer! The absolute best burger I've ever had. Hands down. I ordered the mushroom Swiss and it was so full of flavor. The bun had that perfect in between crisp and soft and it was not oily at all. Definitely extra points for that. And the atmosphere was so wonderful. From the moment we walked in we were treated as friends. The staff was joking with us and extremely friendly. It felt like a reunion even though this was the first time here. Even the other customers were friendly!! I am just waiting until I can go back. Stopped by for breakfast. The owner was there, great guy! The staff are all very fast and friendly. I ordered the "Ziggy" breakfast. Folks, this is like ordering a buffet. It is served on two plates: Hash browns, 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausages on one plate. The 2nd plate is one monstrous pancake that hangs over the edge of the plate. And the price for all this is only $11. All of it was delicious, as was the coffee. This is thee place in Stillwater for breakfast, hands down! Oasis Cafe is a classic greasy spoon diner. They serve breakfast all day as well as lunch and dinner selections. My favorite dish is probably the corned beef hash. It's made in house with giant chunks of corned beef, potatoes and onions. They finish it of with a heavy cream sauce. Used to enjoy coming here, came in today (10/20/2022) at 1:40 pm. Place was not that busy, two booths were empty up front, two very small tables in the center were empty & two four place tables and some high top tables in back were available, my wife and I were told when we first came in we couldn't use either of the booths up front as they "might" get busy as schools were not in session today but we could sit anywhere in the other two areas, so we sat at one of the available four place tables in back, the server came up and told us to move to one of the very small tables or go to a high top. I explained that I didn't care for the small tables and that I have a bad knee so couldn't use the high top, she didn't care so we had to leave, won't be back here. The thing that gets me is that they weren't very busy they'd apparently rather we left. Not a good way to treat a frequent customer. I'll be letting our friends know. read more

This place is OK. I ordered coffee, had it served to me 3 different times because either the cup was dirty or there was an excess of coffee grounds in the coffee. Ewww. I gave up and had water. The wait staff was nice. This place is over hyped. The food was OK, nothing great or worthy of writing home about. My husband ordered an omelette that had FETA cheese, it smelled bad.
