Plenty of parking, easy exit off the highway. Ample and clean seating space. Be prepared, this place is almost always hopping but with that said, service is quick here. Also a good heads up, the menu is extensive! Went on a Friday early afternoon. We got coffees, eggs, hash browns and a Ruben with fries. Both the food and service were great. Only heads-up that maybe because the afternoon cliental skews a bit older, they do go very easy on the salt on almost everything especially anything involving potatoes. Both the hash browns and fries were not salted/seasoned but with a pinch of salt, tasted great! Will visit again as I saw a couple of items that I would love to try.

    The Loon Omelet was fantastic

The Loon was a huge omelet so I'll have breakfast for tomorrow! We came at 11 am to beat the crowd. We will be back

On our way out of Minnesota, my husband and I went to the Keys Cafe-Woodbury to get some breakfast. This diner has a classic Americana feel to it. You walk past three Charlie Brown character statues before entering the restaurant and bakery. The statues are a fun photo opportunity. I had the Belgian waffle and my husband had the cinnamon French toast with apples. The food was good but not great. The four dollars that was charged for coffee I thought was a little expensive. I was totally grossed out when our server took a cup of water from a table that had left and filled my cup with it. This totally ruined the experience for me. Because of this I cannot recommend Keys Cafe-Woodbury!

Love the service and the food here. The staff are always attentive and friendly. The food comes out pretty quick and hot. I love their menu, there's an array of options to pick from. The only complaint I have is how busy it is, there's almost always a wait. But that's a given due to the only breakfast place in this area. So if you're not in a rush, highly recommend this place.

Me a long time, friend this morning for breakfast at this location. I've been here before, but today was a little different. It was busy and there was a line of about seven people. My buddy was just being seated, so I quickly joined him. We sat at the counter today And caught up on all times. Our server Jenn, brought us waters and gave us a minute to scan the menu before placing her order. We both had the #1, which was scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, and sourdough toast. All for for $14. I've eaten out a lot over the years, but today was one of the best breakfast I ever had. The portion size seem to fit the overall price and I fit my value was spot on the money. Server, Jen, 5 stars. Atmosphere, joyful, busy, 5 stars Food, a terrific meal, 5 stars. Generous portions. I enjoyed our visit. I recommend and will return.

Keys cafe is a staple for breakfast in Woodbury. The parking lot is huge so there should never a problem finding a spot. As soon as we walked in we were immediately grated and seated. It was pretty packed in there so we were happy to get a corner spot that didn't feel so congested. Our server was decently friendly. She kinda seemed rushed but that's to be excepted during busy breakfast hours. I order a cheese burger w/ fries and a side salad. The side salad hit the spot. The burger on the other hand could use some work. The bun was way too thick and a little hard. Half way through eating it I just ate the beef patty plain. The meat itself was pretty good. Fries were pretty basic but good. Over all this place it's obviously a classic for the city. Would return and try some different items.

Farmers Farmers' Omelet with sour dough toast

Excellent food, very large portions at good prices! The omelet could feed 3 people and the sourdough toast is amazing!

The Cajun breakfast with andouille sausage added. If you want to eat it all, then, "Bring a friend!"

Came to town and had to visit Keys Cafe again. Small world, because Desmond was our server, and he was terrific. We had him as our server three years ago and he still loves his job. That's obvious. The food was fantastic and nobody left the table hungry. I'm happy to rate this place five stars because I enjoy coming here each time I come home to visit.

Can't really go wrong with a classic like Keys Cafe. The place is definitely busy on a weekend morning so be prepared to wait for a table and of course since it's so busy, it'll be a bit noisy-not annoyingly so but it's not a quiet spot (perfect for families with small kids). All staff we encountered were pleasant. Food was mid but hits the spot when you're looking for comfort. If you're too full for dessert, grab a slice of sour cream rhubarb cake to go. The sell day old treats at a discount at the register if you're looking to try something else.

I went with a jambalaya-style dish loaded with grilled chicken, plump shrimp, and andouille sausage over a bed of well-seasoned rice, all topped with a chunky tomato and pepper mixture and a scatter of fresh herbs. The portion was generous, and every component was cooked perfectly - the shrimp were tender, not rubbery, and the sausage had a nice char to it. A squeeze of the lemon they served on the side brightened the whole dish up even more. Service was easygoing and attentive without hovering, and the pacing of the meal felt just right. Hazelwood strikes a great balance of comfort food done with real care, and it's clear they take pride in what comes out of that kitchen. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a cozy, reliable spot in Minneapolis.

This dish was very flavorful. The beef, although cut in small cubes, was a little more tough than I expected but they were still tasty. The sauce was very flavorful. We enjoyed our brunch and will stop in again should we be in the area.

No refill of drinks were ever offered at any time. Staff didn't come to check on us. I asked for napkins to wipe up a mess on three different occasions and no napkins were ever produced by the staff. The mess remained on the table until we finally could get someone to let us pay and leave. We've been to this place about a handful of times before but this is the first time it's been this bad. The potato skins were forgettable, but one of the few things I got to eat because my pork chop arrived partially raw. It took over 20 minutes to finally flag someone down about it. I tried to flag a different waitress than ours and was completely ignored. Flagged her again a second time she walked by and she was completely uninterested but said she'd notify our server. The server finally came back and said she'd take it back. I wasn't upset at this point,as dismissive and slow as their service was, as I can understand that ensuring a stuffed pork chop is fully cooked may be difficult, even if they claim this is their award winning recipe (how that is, lord knows), but when she did return with a different pork chop (would've been fine with the same one cooked five or so mins longer) it was a pork chop that had the opposite problem of being incredibly overcooked - which I cannot accept as an accident or cannot accept its fault because you already messed it up the first time and messed it up again. Both chops were inedible-just absolute awful. You can see in the picture the split between the two chops because they sliced it in two and then they skewered it together to "close" and stuff it. You can also see how dry the chop was by looking at the striation of the meat. The stuffing inside, also dry. The only thing I enjoyed were the vegetables but they were also the only thing I could eat on that plate. This place used to be a quiet but decent restaurant but the service and food we received today really shows me why the place was so dead. There is no pride or joy in their work or food-you can see it in the glum faces of the employees (except ours did look friendly, others did not). Our waitress was friendly but absent over half the time. It took us over 3 hours to complete our meal because more than half the time, no one was around to do anything like check to see if our food was okay aka cooked or provide a refill or run the payment. My husband said not once did someone apologize for the raw food which I don't recall if they did or not but I did get a confirmation of "oh yeah I took it back and he looked at it and said, yeah that's not cooked". Overall, I could not recommend this place to anyone anymore.

Mike's Corner Cafe has a small town diner ambience that you'd expect to find further away from the metro, and I say that as a compliment. They have a pretty large menu, and although they are open daily from 7pm to 3pm, it's not just a breakfast place. (Also it's in a little bit of a cramped spot near the kitchen; it might lack some of the invitingness of most salad bars.)
