The activities that our kid did were $12 a pop so it added up fast. I don't remember all the names but she liked everything a lot so the cost quickly approached $100 as she wanted to repeat some things (bungee) and try new things (go carts). When we were there late afternoon the lines were not ridiculous but I could imagine quite a wait during peak hours in the day. The staff are helpful. There also arcade games inside. The reason for 4 stars is pricing. Other than that, it was a fun experience for her and she wants to go back again.

If you'd like to workout sans screaming and in water that is deeper than three feet, head on over to the large lap pool. Oh, their prices are competitive whether you're looking for a day pass, a twenty punch workout pass or you're in town and want to pay monthly for unlimited use. Senior discounts are also given. The carts ran very smoothly, the exhaust weren't smoky like alot of places, and they even make it fun by pouring out buckets of water to make the grounds slippery during the ride.. felt like we were on Mario Karts. ;) For the bumper cars, I can tell the owner controlled some parts to make us spin just to give us a good laugh. I loved that! Just observing the place, I can tell there was so much labor of LOVE put into this wholesome fun fun fun place. There was a repair shop with a cart hanging waiting to be restored with lots of tools hanging - the owner must be a super handy man. This past weekend marked 20th year anniversary for Rocky Hi Speedway and we had the priviledge of meeting the owner! Such a friendly guy and my obervation were all correct. Sad to see this place up for sale since it hasn't gotten much foot traffic, but gathering from our convo I felt like he would love to keep it running. Therefore, I would like to put this place on the map and give a special shout out to the guy who put all his heart and time into building this place! After checking in racers registered & signed waivers after which they got balaclavas & helmets. Instructions were given but it was rather hard to hear. Our racers had a blast...they loved it - it was a great experience. Right after racing our lunch was ready, it was served buffet style. We choose Cheese & Pepperoni Pizzas, BBQ & Buffalo Chicken Wings & soft drinks. There were no salad or vegan options. The pizza was good, however the wings were even better & delicious. If I come back to Denver I may look for another place that may be like this.

He once had a home here and opened a lodge for hunting and fishing. Sprague then added cabins to the property and made it a hotel in the early 1900's. This area eventually became a part of Rocky Mountain National Park.

Rocky Mountain Park requires a online timed entry reservation made in advance during peak season.

We coordinated everything with Aaron Tulley, who was a total pro. He set us up with longest drive and closest to the pin contests while we were out there, which turned a fun round into a genuinely competitive (loving, mostly) family showdown. Aaron stayed ahead of every detail so we never had to think about logistics, which is exactly what you want a few days before getting married. Then there is the food. The kitchen has been newly redone and it shows, because lunch was incredible, and at a price that made us double-check the bill in a good way. And the views. My God, the views. Getting our flat-as-a-pancake Midwest family out onto a mountain course like this was an absolute top-tier experience. Everyone was smiling the entire time, including the people who had never broken 100 in their lives. Special shoutout to the starter, who got our entire group off the first tee with grace and good humor while we were, let us be honest, deeply hungover and schlepping around pre-round like a herd of confused deer. That is customer service. If you are looking for a stunning, welcoming, well-run course in Estes Park, this is the one. Five stars and a longest drive trophy to the whole staff.

We had an amazing time at Open Air Adventure in Colorado! It was a perfect family outing , the course was fun and just the right mix of challenge and excitement. The kids absolutely loved it and haven't stopped talking about it since! The staff were super friendly, patient, and helpful, which really made the experience even better. One small tip: if you're planning to go, consider bringing your own gloves. The ropes can be a little rough on the hands, especially for kids. Other than that, everything was fantastic. We went up to Estes Park specifically for the Open Air Adventure Park. My daughter and her two children (OUR grandchildren) and I went up on the course while Gramma took lots of pictures. We had a terrific time, with the kids scrambling all over the elements on both levels and trying to jump hard enough to go across the zip line in the up direction. The safety cords made us feel very safe. Like others have commented, we should have brought gloves, but we were fine as is. After an hour and a half, we were ready to stop and go back home. read more

We had two adults and four kids in our group, all with some riding experience, and every one of us had an amazing time. Our trail guides, Emma and Anna, were outstanding. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and constantly attentive to everyone's safety. Anna, our back guide, spent much of the nearly two-hour ride on foot, helping the horses navigate downed trees, steep rocky hillsides, and even rock stair steps. It was obvious how much they cared about both the riders and the horses. Speaking of the horses--they were some of the best trail horses I've ever ridden. They were healthy, well cared for, beautiful, and gentle. I've been on rides elsewhere where the horses were overweight and clearly not in great condition, but these horses looked fantastic. My horse, Bacon, completely stole my heart--I wanted to take him home! The trail itself was breathtaking, with challenging terrain that showcased just how sure-footed and trustworthy these horses are. There was also a family of complete beginners riding ahead of us, and Emma and Anna made sure they felt comfortable and confident the entire time. I would recommend Jackson Stables to anyone, whether you're an experienced rider or climbing into the saddle for the very first time. It was easily one of the highlights of our Colorado trip!

You pick up the walking path at the Visitors Center and it will take you along the river to downtown. Aling the way there are restaurants and lots of stores. The best part for me are the benches where I like to sit and listen to the river as I meditate. Along the walking path there are chimes for kids (and adults) to play. To me this is a must-do if you are in Estes. It is an about one mile walk that is thoroughly enjoyable. The beauty of the river makes the walk peaceful and serene.

KMAC is amazing! I had no idea what a Via Ferrata was, so I was terrified when I visited KMAC and…read moresaw photos. The team were all super friendly and made the process of getting ready super simple. After a short drive, we arrived at the camp where we began the hike to get our gear. The hike up was fairly easy and pretty short. Once at the cabin, maybe 3/4 of the way up, everyone was given their gear after a thorough demonstration of how everything works. Very reassuring! The last leg of the hike was a more intense, but very doable. About 35-40 total hike time to the start of the Via Feratta. It was intimidating staring at the mountain, but TJ was able to make things a lot lighter by joking around. Without TJ and his calm and supporting energy, I would've never been able to complete the Via Ferrata. Overall, the Via Ferrata was a lot of fun. It was no where near how difficult I thought it would be. If anyone is conceding doing this challenge, do it! You won't regret it.
