My family & I decided to staycation here during spring break. It was our first time staying here but they have such a cute lobby/seating area as well as a koi garden. The staff here are very friendly & the front desk really does take the time to make conversation and accommodate as much as they can. We checked into our Junior suite which included two double beds with a sofa bed & kitchenette, and a private lanai. The deep soak tub was a hit with our 3 kids! This hotel literally checked off pretty much everything we were looking for & the price was affordable. Me and my family enjoyed it such that even till today my kids are still talking about our spring break staycation. Thank you to the amazing staff for making our stay enjoyable & comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Better Than Sleeping in the Gutter, But Just Barely If you're torn between staying here or just pitching a tent in a sketchy alley, Oasis Waikiki might barely win out; assuming you enjoy AC units held together with duct tape and the thrill of MAYBE having a place to park your car. The lodging is... acceptable, if you set your expectations somewhere between "aging motel" and "grandma's basement that hasn't been updated since 1983." The decor has a charming "we gave up" vibe, and the AC sounds like it's on life support--probably because it is. Valet? Don't count on it. Andrew, the valet manager, confidently told us we could prepay to secure a spot, how cute. Reality check: when we pulled up, valet was full and shrugged us off like we were asking to land a helicopter. Ended up parking at the Hyatt Centric and paying $35 for the privilege of not being able to leave unless we wanted to pay $35 again. A parking scam wrapped in a lie wrapped in a lei. I should also mention that parking here is $45 a day, so... Would I stay here again? Only if it's this or the sidewalk. And even then, I'd need a moment to think about it.

Cleanliness: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Comfort: 4/5 Noise: 4/5 Overall: Location, Location, Location. It's a good location for Waikiki and I'd definitely stay here again. For Parking you have an option for valet which was pretty expensive and limited or a validated parking space a couple blocks away at the Hyatt. The extended review... Cleanliness: 4/5 - The linens and towels were clean which is all I can ask for. Service: 5/5 - Friendly staff and they actually gave us an upgrade to the top floor with a kitchen! Comfort: 4/5 - A very comfortable room where I was able to get some good rest. The room was very spacious and I would have used the balcony if I had more time there. Noise: 4/5 - It's Waikiki so you will hear noise but it wasn't bothersome by any means.

DAY 1 to end. Duration July 1st-4th. Day 1 you book a hotel you get what you book when you get there typically when we got there we booked 3 rooms months in advance for 12 of us, a lot of us and needed 3 beds in two of the rooms and 1 bed in another. They had nothing ready said they upgraded us to a king bed and pull out couch bed I said NO THATS NOT WHAT I BOOKED AND NOT WHAT I PLANNED ON OR NEEDED!! The big large man and small older dark short hair lady with the colored eye shadow those are the monsters in this story who looked at me and said we don't have those rooms available I said but I booked and paid for that. They said yeah well we don't have it you can stay or leave as I stood there with my 3 kids they told me this. I said whatever not enough beds so we had people sleeping on the floor and then they refused to give us extra blankets or towels it was always an argument about how much stuff was already there then got back from a luau there was shift change that staff who then tried to say we didn't pay our valet and they had no record I found the ticket and then she was nice but she ignored any phone calls from our room I had to call via cell. Day 2 we were gone! All day! From 6am until maybe 4or 5! Came back that's when all hell broke lose our kids got in the pool my mother-in-law was watching my daughter and my son down at the pool when we get a phone call and she said that our son was bleeding dad goes downstairs to find his son bleeding from his hand because he went to get out of the Aqua oasis swimming pool and the ladder that you get out of had a sharp edge with no bumper so he took his son to the front desk to ask for a Band-Aid or some thing to stop the bleeding and they handed him one Band-Aid and one tiny thing ointment then he asked are you guys going to do anything and they (the aqua oasis staff as pictured.) just stare at him expressionless and he said he hurt himself in your pool at your hotel like what do we do and then they looked at him and questioned "wasn't he under your supervision?" he said no my mom was watching him she had to watch it happen and could not prevent it as the sharp edge is under water and then they said "well we will put that in our report" which then dad with frustration again asked for help and if they were just going to stand there and they weren't going to help then requested them to call an ambulance and they said oh no I'm calling the cops on you guys as my son stood there bleeding and crying they called the cops on our family because we requested them to help our son since he was injured in their pool they freaked out when we said call and ambulance you can tell they didn't wanna be responsible for this accident. Trying to get the workers to go fix it before the cops came I came down with my 4 month old and didn't know what was going on and old short hair eye shadow lady started putting her hand in my face saying ask my mother in law and then the big man said no we are calling the cops we are going to trespass you all! I HEARD THIS MAN ON THE PHONE WITH POLICE DISPATCH HE WAS SAYING WE WERE OUT OF CONTROL YELLING AND CUSSING AND if we were loud we weren't yelling at them we talk loud we are a big loud family and if we cuss it's in conversation with each other not at them. I was just trying to find out what happened they said my son my 7 year old with a bleeding hang skin cut open was exaggerating the way we were treated was absolutely insane and upsetting they refused to speak to us laughed at us and had us thrown out no remorse I had my 3 kids standing there watching the hotel staff be rude and cops too reading all the one star reviews I see that it's a trend for the Aqua Oasis to give the worst customer service, to be threatened to stay or leave if you don't like your room , to be trespassed ,and call law enforcement on guest and they probably are in Cahoots with the police because the cops immediately before they even spoke to us or rude yelling at us on the hotel side and accusing us of not watching our children even if my son was standing 5 feet away these cops tried to say I was neglecting my kids they also laughed at us they also made jokes they also yelled at us didn't let us talk we were told numerous times to calm down when we were just frustrated and trying to figure out why we were getting this treatment why they called the cops on us why they wanted to kick us out over my son cutting his hand in their unsafe pool. They kicked us out no remorse. Hopefully they have the decency to refund us our money if you don't want to ruin your beautiful vacation don't stay here WE HAVE SEVERAL VIDEOS OF THEIR HORRENDOUS BEHAVIORS.

2 stars tops. But it makes sense for what i paid. Only getting 2stars because the customer service upon checking in was very professional and courteous. I arrived about an hour and a half before the 3pm check in, and was checked in right away since there was a room available. The outdoor lobby area was pretty decent, peaceful/calm setting. The pool was a little scary. (I had hopes in hanging by the pool whenever I wasn't at the beach). Upon going up the elevator, the lights at each door is cute, but the halls are a bit dark and there are no windows, so it felt a bit creepy. The room was pretty typical. 2 beds, tv, desk, closet, bathroom, a sink and mini fridge. It was a spacious room but it was more of a motel than a hotel. The patio was big, which I'll be honest, (took some great photos out there). I sanitized and wiped down everything i would be touching in the room. Even checked the bed/sheets for you know whats. At first glance everything looked fine. So i showered, got dressed and went to enjoy my day trip. I stayed in this "hotel" for 1 night. Thank god i didn't get too comfortable. Woke up the next morning and as i got up, i noticed little bugs on the pillow. I got out of the bed and noticed that there was a streak of dried blood (that wasn't there before i went to bed) turns out i guess i killed one of the bugs as i was sleeping. I had pulled the sheet back to make sure they weren't all over the bed..(they weren't). But when I pulled the sheets back, it caused the blanket in between the 2 sheets to be exposed, which popped out another BED BUG. Smh i quickly googled what to do with my clothes that I slept in. Before showering and leaving. Thankfully all my belongings were already packed and sitting on the desk. But it was definitely bed bugs. When I checked out, I attempted to address it with the guy at the front desk. He first said it looked like little roaches. So I explained to him and showed him the videos. He then said, "well ill let housekeeping know so that she'll check it and change the sheets" ummmm what?! Change the sheets? Thats how your resolving this issue? That's disgusting! So just be aware of the situation. I almost didn't want to write this but now that im back home and im seeing the bites on my arm, and im remembering what he said. I couldn't help it. Hopefully they take more serious actions before the problem gets worse.

Stayed at Aqua Oasis at the end of January 2022. We had a pretty good experience. Pros: - The staff was great and always available. - breakfast was included - free WiFi - there was only one elevator, but it was surprisingly fast. We never had to wait very long to go up or down. - Toto toilets in our room! Probably the fanciest toilets I've ever seen in any hotel. - it's very close to the hubbub of the Waikiki area. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go around here, such as the beach. - people came by to clean our room everyday - free water refills all day Cons: - looks kind of old inside - saw peeling paint - lighting was okay in the room, not a lot of lighting besides the bed. - parking was something like $40 a night. Plus it was valet parking - so you couldn't just grab your car and go. Also $40/night felt pricey to us, but I'm not sure about prices of surrounding garages. - Breakfast is outside, so many birds also know where to get free breakfast. If you're not careful they'll eat your food.

Hotel offers different types of pillows in the room and spare blanket in armoire. Also in the armoire is hangers, an ironing board and steaming iron, which came in handy for those wrinkled linen shirts mashed in my suitcase. The Bathroom. - one sink with a little counter top space but sufficient. The toilet was also bidet in the master bath. The shower pressure on 21st is ok but low, but it did the job. The Ac in room was awesome! It gets super cold, if you need it, quickly. It was nice for those hot humid days of walking in Waikiki. It had an In-room mini fridge and bar sink with 4 real drinking glasses, which I like. Hated there was no freezer in the mini fridge But the bell hop station offers to freeze ice packs, or whatever you need, for you. We had 3 sliding doors with west views and moderate views of Waikiki beach. The Second bedroom has own bath with also a single sink, toilet and shower- No bidet. The room/bedding/bathrooms were clean with no mold in the showers. The furniture showed a little wear but nothing excessive. The Elevators were fast! The pool, mangers reception and breakfast are all on the 4th Floor (terrace level). Breakfast was typical of Embassy Suites, I like the made to order omelette which makes it much better. Lots of fresh fruit and even some miso soup and other Japanese/Hawaiian offerings. The Staff was awesome and super friendly. I Used valet every day. Great service, fast and practical IMO but hard to swallow the daily fee. The hotel was attacked to the Waikiki beach walk. Island vintage coffee was a regular stop for coffee and sometimes breakfast. Order coffee or food to go online after 8am to save a ton of time standing in line. Hotel was Very close to all ththe shops. Awesome location. Much better location than Hilton Hawaiian village location!!! Our fav restaurant close by the hotel was Kana Pilla and Monkey Pod, which were across the street. Make sure to make Open Table reservations for both way ahead of time. I did mine 2 months out. Housekeeping willing to clean and supply new towels daily however linens are not cleaned but every 5 day, unless you request it, which they are happy to do! Views from 21st floor were awesome and all 21st floor rooms had extensive balconies. 3 sliding doors. Keep in mind Ac doesn't work, yes the fan blows, when the doors are open!! It's too humid at night to sleep with them open so we had them open for select times, mostly am. There's a Washer/dryer laundry room on site, 3rd floor only. It was Very convenient especially packing 4 days of clothes for a 10 day trip so our suitcases weren't stuffed . Use laundry room on sundays/mon or late evenings when people are too busy arriving and leaving. $5.25 to each wash load and I think $4.75 to dry. Washers only wash with cold which I like. Perm press on dryer seemed to dry all our shirts and socks well. We hung our nice Aloha shirts on the hangers in the room and they dried within a day. Washer and dryers take credit cards. Yes they're is a soap machine that also takes credit cards. I didn't use and just bought soap from ABC. ABC stores are EVERYWHERE so don't lug around suntan lotion or waters in your suitcase. Just buY at ABC which is only 20 steps away. FYI ABC doesn't no GIVE out bags for items unless you spend over a certain amount. ANC bags cost like .50 cents. ABC has Awesome poke and alcohol (spirit and beer) choices. Yes single purchase tall beers too. Don't forget the free brief fireworks show in front of the Hilton Hawaii Village on Friday nights only. We saw them set off at 7:45p by the lagoon. It's amazing how many people attend so be prepared for the crowds to and from. Big tip: make open table reservations for all your restaurants months ahead! All places are super busy until about 8:45 pm on most nights. Hope I helped.

Halepuna Hotel This…read moreis a review of my experience staying at the Halepuna Hotel, located in Waikiki. I booked my stay via Costco Travel recommendations. WORDS TO DESCRIBE Halepuna Hotel: Modern, clean, safe, economically and environmentally friendly (bamboo room cards, water dispensers for your reusable water bottles), bright, airy, quality service in hospitality and room service LOCATION I loved staying at the Halepuna Hotel. It was centrally located at the beach walk, so ABC Store, shops, restaurants, and the beach were all within walking distance. *It was difficult finding the location of the hotel, when we first arrived. There was no big sign that you can spot, while you're driving, so my landmarks I always looked for were the ABC Store and Denny's. STAFF/SERVICE: Everyone that we came across during our stay was very friendly, generous, kind, and attentive. A shoutout to the Valet Service crew, especially RJ. He gave us recommendations for where to go. He always made us smile and laugh with his jokes. Thank you Uncle! AMENITIES: ROOMS Our room was equipped with charge stations-usb and usb c compatible plugs, ironing board/iron, mini fridge, ice bucket, tea kettle, and coffee maker. BATHROOM Well stocked with towels, a drying cord, blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I appreciated that instead of your standard toilet, the hotel had bidets! *Great water pressure for showering. The tub was also spacious, if you wanted to take a bubble bath. 8TH FLOOR GYM-Equipped with a lot of machines Water dispenser Additional restrooms/shower room LAUNDRY ROOM is open 24/7 There are 3 washers and 4 dryers You can pay using your credit card or download the WASH CONNECT app *Friendly suggestions: -As a guest, bring your own laundry soap/dryer sheets--or go to the ABC Store if you forget your laundry supplies -Make sure to clean the lint trap before you put your clothes in -Put a timer on your phone to check on your clothes GARDEN -Serene, tranquil, peaceful, spacious -------- Friendly Suggestions for Halepuna Hotel -Have a big sign stationed outside the hotel, perhaps elevate the height of the sign and add lights to it, so it's easy to spot for first time visitors ------- All in all I enjoyed staying at the Halepuna Hotel. We're not high-maintenance travelers--we simply appreciate the opportunity to spend quality time together, and every stay here creates lasting memories. One of our favorite conveniences is the ABC Stores on the property. They're reasonably priced and have surprisingly good sushi and poke bowls for a quick meal. This summer visit was noticeably busier than our fall stays. The pools were definitely crowded, and the village was packed with tourists. While people say tourism is down, that certainly wasn't our experience--it felt very lively throughout our stay. Instead of driving, we used Lyft to visit the Waikīkī International Market Place, which ended up being much cheaper than paying for parking and was well worth it. During this trip, we stayed in the Kalia Tower and loved our room's view overlooking the ocean, lagoon, harbor, and even the marketplace below. My husband also enjoyed using the fitness center. He mentioned it was busiest in the mornings and mid-afternoons, so evenings seemed like the best time to work out. One of the highlights of our stay was our daily feathered visitor--a pigeon that stopped by to greet us every day, which became a fun little tradition. This hotel has one of my favorite local chain cafes, Honolulu Coffee Company. The only local café that has consistently made perfect crema foe decades. Starbucks baristas are not trained for this. The hotel also has restaurants with lots of local flavor. The sushi buffet is amazing but difficult to get a reservation on the weekends. 100 Sails also has a buffet though ordering ala cart seemed like the best choice for us. One big concern was the snacks on the 5th floor. We came across moldy bread, which was definitely concerning. I would think the staff would check the food before putting it out, especially considering this is not a cheap hotel. I loved that we could grab coffee every morning from Honolulu Coffee without having to leave the hotel. The lines can get long, but the service is fairly quick. The staff, overall, were not very welcoming and often seemed serious. However, on Monday, June 29, there was an older woman who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She really stood out and made us feel appreciated. One other issue was that the body wash in our room was never refilled, so we ended up not having any during our stay. We also requested a later check out and our key cards aren't working. The front desk never mentioned anything about need to change keys cards if we had a later check out and now we're outside our rooms having to go back downstairs and change our key cards. And they were making it complicated because they wanted my drivers license even though it's in the room. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and the beautiful views, great amenities, and delicious breakfast made it a memorable family vacation.

I stayed at this outrigger property 2 nights from March 6, 2026-March 8, 2026…read more When I checked in I was informed since my stay was for 2 nights if I needed to have my room cleaned to let housekeeping know. Once my room became available I dropped off my luggage and then went directly to the beach. When I returned I did notice some areas of concern where the room was not very well cleaned. Instead of calling housekeeping I went directly downstairs to the front desk. Front desk personnel were busy as there were only 2 people assisting the long line of quests. I decided I'll just deal with the room uncleanliness later. Please be advised that I did take pictures. Once I checked out on Sunday, March 8th, I advised the front desk personnel my concerns. The manager Ira listened to my concerns as I showed her my pictures. She immediately apologized and ask that I email the pictures to their corporate office. Which I did once I arrived back to the mainland. In the room there's a finger or toenail clipping on the carpet between the console and couch. Also you can also see that portion of the carpet has not been vacuumed. The clothed bench in front of bed was extremely stained and filthy. So filthy that I covered the bench with a bath towel if I needed to sit down. Also the refrigerator was very dirty. I chose not to put any food items in the fridge because of this. Also the bottom of the toilet is stained with either fecal matter, urine or maybe it's rust. If so, clean it then use caulking. These are the concerns I have with room 403. Hopefully I'll be hearing from upper management in regards to my unpleasant stay in room 403. The best part of staying at this hotel was the show Auana which is located at this hotel. Needless to say I will not stay at this hotel again.

The front desk staff were very kind and helpful especially during the situation where our room was facing the construction across the street which ended up being a little loud for us so we had requested a new room away from that side and they had a room ready for us in 10 minutes with someone who came to move our luggage. Rooms were nice and clean and spacious we stayed in the diamond tower facing part of the parking garage with a view of part of the beach! It was still great to sit out on the balcony and watch the hustle and bustle of Waikīkī along with the sounds & views of the ocean! The location was across the street from the beach. They also have free beach towel dispenser which really came in handy but make sure you return it before midnight to avoid a charge! Lol. The parking garage was a little questionable as it is very tight and hard to find parking especially late at night so valet might be your best option or alerting the staff that there is no spot for self park they'll usually work something out to make sure you get one. The breakfast/brunch buffet was to die for! It is up there in price but my goodness it was phenomenal. I mean you're on vacation why not splurge a little?

However, on my most recent trip, I decided to try the Hyatt Regency, thinking the lounge access and more resort-style atmosphere might be a better fit for my elderly parents. We booked three rooms for our family, and I can confidently say that this stay completely changed my perspective and that is largely thanks to Grace at the front desk. From the moment we arrived, Grace went above and beyond to make sure our check-in experience was seamless and welcoming. Traveling with elderly parents can sometimes be challenging, but she handled everything with such patience, warmth, and genuine care. She was incredibly attentive to our needs, thoughtfully ensuring that our rooms were convenient and comfortable for everyone in our group. What truly stood out was her ability to make us feel valued not just as guests, but as people. Her professionalism was matched by her kindness, and it was clear she takes great pride in creating a positive experience for those she helps. She anticipated needs we hadn't even expressed and handled every detail with ease and grace. Because of her exceptional service, what was meant to be a one time stay at the Hyatt Regency has completely changed my preference moving forward. Grace's hospitality exceeded all expectations and made our trip that much more memorable. It's rare to encounter someone who leaves such a lasting impression, but Grace absolutely did. She is a true asset to the Hyatt Regency, and I sincerely hope she receives the recognition she deserves. I will definitely be returning and recommending this property to others because of her.

La Mer is a one of a kind French experience and Orchids is fantastic for any meal of the day. Just outside the hotel is a delightful oceanfront park where the hotel hosted yoga each day. A highlight for me. Great poolside service. The beach is small, so if you are looking to lounge on the beach, that's not really much of an option. This hotel is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World. So you know it has the highest standards. That brand has never steered me wrong. And the fact that it is not under a massive hotel chain umbrella means it can maintain its authentic individuality. Pro tip: if you have a late flight, there is a lounge where you can relax and prepare for your departure, as check out is 11am.

The restroom is in the restaurant area. I never once left the restaurant throughout the entire evening. I was simply on my way to pick up my drink from the seating area and then head to the bar to pay. He told me I was "going the wrong way" when the way I was going would have led to me to the bar... The way this team handles tabs in this bar is abysmal. Right when I sat down, I was attempting to give my bartender my credit card to start a tab. They refused to accept my card and said don't worry about it, and that they'll take it after I'm done. I explicitly told the bartender that I was going over to the lawn right next to the bar (still in the restaurant area) to get a better view of the musical performance, drink in hand. They said go ahead. Nobody should be treated like this

We were celebrating a minimoon and were gifted a bottle of champagne, a bar of chocolate, and a lovely fruit platter. Service was impeccable, from check-in to dining to pool service. Breakfast was included in our stay and the food was quite impressive. Not only do you get the breakfast buffet, but you get to order as many small plates as you'd like (mind you, they're already quite filling), and one large plate. You can also take your leftovers to go. Honestly, I would eat breakfast and be set until dinner most days. At the pool, they also brought around ice cream or smoothies to keep guests refreshed. They did so pretty frequently. The pool was also never super busy, which was nice as we just came from another hotel where the pool was constantly packed. You do get a small view, but it's mostly blocked by other buildings. There's a decent gym that also was never super busy. It's on the same floor as the spa.
