I went to another place at first and they had no idea what to do but luckily their jeweler Reyes was an expert and fixed everything for me in less than 30 minutes! Anissa and Elisa were super helpful and kind the entire time and showed me some pieces while I waited. I was expecting to drop off my watch and come back in a week because of other watch repair places I've been to but not only was the service super fast, everyone there was so nice. My 8 year old Breitling watch was not keeping time accurately and also not winding properly. I brought it to Manuel and he got it Clean, Lubricated and pretty much had the movement recalibrated so it works like new. FUNNY STORY: I thought they overcharged me $50 for a chain. I went back and demand they fix it. He immediately apologized and asked for receipt. I didn't have it. He ran to the back to get a new copy. As he was searching I checked my bank app.. I realized I was not overcharged and I had to apologize to him . We got to laugh about it. REVIEW: They were easy going. He cleaned the chain i purchased in this cool steam machine and also offered to clean the pendant I was attaching to the chain. I was in the Whittier area and while there I decided to have some of my precious watch batteries replaced. Me being the Yelper that I am I looked up watch repair shops. I saw Oasis was in my immediate area and I liked seeing they're a family business. On my way! I arrived and entered the business. Manuel greeted me, he was helping another customer and said he'd be right with me. He completed the transaction with the other customer. He then asked how he could help me. I showed him the 5 watches and asked him if he could replace them. Being the amount of work required to open the back of some of my watches (Swiss movement) and water resistant, I'd have to leave them and pick them up the next day. But he did replace the two batteries in my daughter's 2 watches right away, the backs popped right off with little coercion. We went home with her watches and mine were to be finished by the next day. I returned the next day, right after they opened and was greeted by Manuel's sister (sorry didn't get her name)she was very pleasant. She got my watches and rang me up for the three watches. Manuel was with another customer but still said "hi" to me. All watches were functioning and not one sign of any repair work. I've had other "repair" shops scratch some of my watches, and I never returned. I'm coming back to have a module replaced in my Citizen ECO watch, they're able to do the work and I trust them to do it read more
